It's the year 200X and everyone in Den Tech City is plugged into the Net. But living in cyberspace isn't always fun and games. High-tech crimes and pesky viruses are always a big problem for the authorities. Thank gookness for MegaMan and his NetOperator, Lan Hikari. Together, they do their best to keep their hometown safe from being permanently deleted.

MegaMan is on the run! Thanks to the nasty work of a mega-imposter, DenTech City's greatest virtual hero is Public Enemy No. 1. If he can reach Netopian Special Intelligence Headquarters, he just might be able to make a stand and clear his name...or he could find himself in even more trouble! Through it all, MegaMan has warned Lan to stay in school and out of danger. But how can Lan stand by when his best friend is in trouble?

Lan and Chaud travel to Netopia to find and rescue Megaman, a new Double Soul is introduced, and Megaman and Tomahawkman travel to Dr. Regal to investigate his involvement with Nebula, a group that wants to take over the world. Full of action, the plot flows quickly; the speed is broken up with the emotion of Lan's search as well as the humor provided by Dingo and Tomahawkman.

The power of friendship trumps all against the Dark Power; Lan transmits his conscience into the Net to save Megaman from becoming a permanentlty Dark NetNavi. The reliance on this trope to once again save the day detracts from the originality of the series, though it's still a great read for younger readers or folks who want something that doesn't ask for too much thought. Again, the only female character plays a trite and stereotypical role; I'd love to see a kick-ass female character battle alongside Lan and Megaman!

As always, though, the art is great. Megaman NT Warrior remains a fun, lighthearted series.

Still on the run, MegaMan begs Lan to stay under the radar while he heads to the Netopoian Special Intelligence Headquarters to clear his name and figure out where his imposter is coming from! Takamisaki is sure to please fans with this suspenseful entry. How can Lan just sit by while his best friend is being hunted?!
