Honestly. ‘At Summer’s End’ may be my favorite taboo lite novella out of the entire ‘A Taste of Something Wicked’ series and that is saying a lot because I have adored this series so far. Married couple on a trip with the husband’s younger brother’s ex girlfriend, who they’ve sort of been mutually lusting after for awhile. Hot as heck as per usual, but this one had a dash of angst and some laughs as well. These are quick, so no there’s not an in depth story, but I think Andi Simms does a good job balancing a dash of story/plot with all the heat. I think JessDylanSierra are my favorites because they felt so balanced once they got together.

Sierra is dumped the day before she's supposed to go on vacation to Bali with her ex-boyfriend, his brother, Dylan, and his sister in law, Jess. Sierra still goes on the trip after Jess promises her ex won't be going. Sierra was expecting to spend time in the pool and explore Bali while getting over her break up. What she wasn't expecting was to hook up with her ex-boyfriend's brother and his sister in law.
This is another great addition to this spicy novella series. I just simply adore this series and I never want it to end. This is probably my second favorite in the series. I loved the connection Jess, Sierra, and Dylan had with one another. They reminded me of my favorite couple from Fate at Fault. While Sierra is the center of Jess and Dylan's world on the trip, they're still connected to one another. You can tell they have a strong connection and a marriage that is filled with healthy communication and respect. Jess made me laugh quite a few times. She's a petty queen and I love that about her. The spice was so good in this one. I loved how Jess was so into Dylan and Sierra hooking up. Jess has a bit of a breeding kink. She's a woman after my own heart 😍😂
Andi, please never stop writing these. I love them so much.

This book was messy, hot, and satisfying in more ways than one.
Right out of the gate, the editing issues were impossible to ignore, there multiple spelling mistakes of the antagonists name and some awkward phrasing. There’s also a line that felt wildly out of character for Dylan, which was a definite miss but literally just one quote.
That said, the chemistry was absolutely there. The spice carries this book hard, and it works. Dylan is incredibly compelling, Jess is fully iconic, and I want to be more like her. Watching her methodically ruin Keith’s life was deeply satisfying, especially since he’s a genuinely awful character and a very effective antagonist.
I also loved how confidently the FMC, Sierra handled herself and refused to protect Keith’s feelings.

I loved the whole series. Good, engaging characters in great situations. Andi Simms is a great author and well worth a read.

A poly couple on vacation? Sign me RIGHT up! The spice was REAL and constant, if you’re into this, this is for you. It was such a quick and hot read, it was so fun!
