Shyrón Berotte has always been the one to handle things. Although he’s the middle child, he takes protecting his family seriously. Since he’s a lawyer, it makes that feat a little easier to accomplish. He knows his way around the law, even when the law can’t seem to protect those he loves. Whew chile
Monica! You threw the kitchen sink at this book 😩 Shyron and Brittany worked my nerves! Shyron is so use to always being in charge it took him almost losing Brittany to learn that may not always be best. And Brittany girl!! You was fighting good love left and right 😩🥴 I wanted you to sign up for at least one therapy session because Lamar has your decision making skills thrown off. Speaking of the Lamar situation ummm what a twist I wasn’t expecting and the resolve was actually smaller than I thought and I’m ok with that. All of the side family updates I love but the Zay’s situation and Chad’s stubbornness has me intrigued. Especially since Chad’s situation includes Alexa’s ex Knowledge. That was a twist! I feel like each story we getting more into the drama and heavier issues! Can’t wait to read the next book! Also happy for what happened to Chanell and Luke🤭

Well, Miss Monica! Shyron turned out to be just as intense, as I anticipated him to be! How you let your mouth get that reckless, walking down the aisle at your dad's wedding? See, just a mess Shy! He was over the top in his pursuit of Brittany! I'm like, you gone scare her away with being so aggressive my man! I know you want the best for her, but his approach was more pushy and demanding, than loving! Poor Brittany! Dealing with the deadbeat, that is Lamar, and fending off advances from the sexy Shyron! She knew that Lamar was no good for her, but old habits are hard to break; when he was all she knew! I'm glad Brittany took the time she needed to get herself together, but I'm still surprised she came to Shy so quickly. The turn of events, and revelations in this one were shocking! 🤯 The next few books are going to be something, as we find closure to all of the recent events! I loved catching up with the family, and seeing Shy continue to go hard for everyone. I am a bit concerned about Zay! He is always so put together. But he is so caught up with this case and Joyy, that he is not himself! I hope his story is next, as has been my favorite from the beginning! Great job! 👍👍👍

Okkkk… I’m attempting to keep it cute on this review but even after a few words I feel that going out the window so… I’ll just start by saying Mrs. Monica Walters made my Shy Baby EVERYTHING! After having us wait forever for his release she did not miss the mark! Shyrón has been my #1 bae in this series since this series began and even though I feel some type of way about sharing him with Brittany… she was cute too.
Shyrón is definitely one for the records as I knew he would be. He was always perceived as riding hard for his family which is admirable, but nooo my baby is the fixer! His movements may have been suspect in earlier books but seeing him in action had me ready to risk it all! Monica Walters always creates the best characters; they are always giving me a sense of familiarity. Although we never got to know a lot about Brittany, I realized that she was a nice fit for Shy and would make a good sister wife in our triangle of love.
Now… before I end this review, I have to say the storylines in this series so far are catching me off guard every time! The way Mrs. Walters’ mind works is intriguing to say the least because with every book I’m catching myself pausing and looking around when a plot twist happens lol. Although the story lines are throwing me off balance in the best way possible theses sex scenes AINT!!! She just nasty and I love it so dearly! The passion and explosiveness coming from the pages had me tired but ready for more by the end of this book!
Now that my Shy Baby has told his story I wonder who is next… there are so many possibilities but as always, I’ll be ready to start reading when the time comes!

I’ve been waiting on Shy’s story since his Daddy’s book and he did not disappoint! I knew he was going to be a problem in the best way possible! I just love this family and the constant character development and updates as we get to know everyone is unmatched. The books flow so well and the continuation and how everything connects makes this series everything. Shy and Brittany knew each other for a while since she worked with Alexz and he played the background until Brittnay’s dude started to act up and when he did, it was all she wrote! Shy is not to be played with!!! I can’t believe what happened to Luke. I was NOT expecting that turn of events. When Shy says don’t mess with his family that’s exactly what he means…. He ain’t a killa but don’t push him 😩🤧. Brittany didn’t stand a chance because Shy was putting full court pressure on her. I totally understood her concerns after what Lamar did ( I actually almost felt bad for him…. ALMOST) but I’m glad she gave Shy a chance. All he wanted to do was love and protect her and when she allowed him to do that… the sky wasn’t even the limit. I need a part two from them forget the next brother LOL!! Seeing as his bébé’s kids don’t die, they multiply can we get a triplet pregnancy or something with their update in the next book Monica?! Is that too much to ask 😭🤣😅! This is such a great series that I’m all the way invested in… now let’s see what Zay or Chad got up their sleeves!

Huh?
As excited as i was to read this book, i was confused at the turns it took. I felt like these weren't the characters we were initially introduced to. The beginning started with Shy being "all in" which was confusing. He came off as a stalker more than a protector and poor Brittany was just as confused. This adoption/baby sell was also random. Throw in Terrori$t cell and crackhead Luke and you got my initial "huh". I hope the next book is flushed out clearer.

This book definitely kept me entertained. I enjoyed every bit of it. Shyron was a little cray cray. I definitely wasn’t expecting all the mess with Brittany, Lamar and her parents. I didn’t hate Lamar at the end of the book surprisingly. Lol He was wrong for how he treated Brittany though. I do like Shyron and Brittany as a couple. Great series so far. I’m ready for Chad’s mess!

I wasn’t feeling Britt as a character. And I wasn’t feeling her family drama.
Forgiving people has Black people in a chokehold. How you forgive someone for selling their child, buying another, keeping it secret, and the last part I won’t reveal 🙂↔️. Nah f that! The that’s my family thing gone get y’all hurt every time.

I didn’t connect with this book as the others. I was excited for Shyron book and the layers but he was a bit too much especially how he approached Brit at the wedding like relax.

Protecting his love
Whew Shy was A LOT! He was definitely sexy, smart, and protective... but he was also crazy lol. I'm not adding his crazy a$s to my book Bae list cuz he was definitely a problem. He knew exactly what he wanted and well he always got what he wanted. In his eyes Brittany would be no different. The book opens up with him basically telling her to drop the loser and get with the winning team. He was beyond extra!!
Brittany had been feeling Shy for a minute, but she was trying to stay down with her loser boyfriend. He had broken her self esteem down so low she didn't seem to know how to let him go. Shy was so demanding and bossy she was hesitant to fall into another controlling relationship. Shy really just wanted to take care of her. He had fell in love with her so hard and fast that he just had to have her near. He had to make sure she was safe and sometimes his actions were extreme. They were finally able to meet in the middle an establish a relationship.
Listen all the side stories had me like just wow. I could've done without the parent twist, that was some extra stuff that didn't add to the story to me. I am intrigued by Chad and Zay's stories though. I'd choose Zay first because that story needs to be resolved. I'm definitely enjoying the Berotte Family.

I Didn’t see that coming
Ok yes I enjoyed the book. However I have to admit Shy caught me totally off guard. He was so different from the man I thought I met in the first three books.😅 From first few pages of chapter one, Shy’s conversation with Brittney had me gasping and saying “ Wait What? “. 😳😅
I personally thought the shrewd lawyer of the Berotte family had lost his mind. As I continued to read I discovered that the love he had for Brittney was so all consuming it ,he feared she was not going to choose him , and that he was even more afraid for her safety, that he resorted to his hood side to get his point across. I loved Brittney’s determination to be in charge of her own narrative. From not being controlled by another man ( her Ex was something real different). Even when she discovered some unnerving family news that might have broken her completely ,she was determined to Handel it in her own way. Once she and Shy were able to develop an understanding of how best to Interact with each other they were a match made In heaven.
This was an entertaining story with a number of twists and turns along with answers to questions from previous books. Mrs. Walters worked seamlessly to end some characters storylines while yet getting her readers ready to see what’s going to happen In The next book of this Berotte Family series. ❤️

These Berotte men!!!
As always, Author Monica Walters did not disappoint us readers with this highly anticipated read. Before getting into the story itself, the author's letter to her sister (who she used as the inspiration for the character Brittany) was so heartfelt. Now Shy...Shy!!!! It was good to be able to hear from Shy himself after the previous books. He saw what he wanted in Brittany and went for it. All gas, no breaks! Brittany however wasn't quite ready, still dealing with Lamar 🙄 initially. The fact that Shy was able to fall back knowing he didn't really want to proves that he was self aware that his aggressive, in your face approach wasn't always necessary. But when they got it together, 🔥🔥 chapter 8!!! His tongue on her fingers while she....man!!! Mrs. Walters, your imagination is A1!! The Berotte family fall in love fast and they fall hard!! Mr. Shyrón entered the book playing zero games 😂😂 like literally page one he's on that mess! But he is undoubtedly my new book bf. Cause one thing I love is an aggressive man, honey.
As for the overall story, they were getting on my nerves in some of the parts with contradictory words/actions. I also felt like this book had too much build-up for the other brother's stories cause there was a lot left unfinished, but I'm sure it's coming in Chad and Zay's stories. I also wasn't really impressed with how Brittany's situation turned out. But I'm sure we'll hear more about it in the other stories.

Shy got that Remedy baby!!
Shy is definitely the remedy to all the ailments of heartache and fear Brittany suffered from. I loved the fourth installment of Berotte Family. Shy was everything I expected and more. Shy definitely stormed his way into Brittany’s life and had to quickly learn that his way isn’t always the only way to handle things. Brittany held her own with Shy and she didn’t have to be forceful like Shy to get her point across. So many layers and new twist popped up on book four, that I can’t wait to see play out in the next few books!!

Let me first say that I loved this book! However, Shy got on my last nerves. Shy is a man of many means which leads him to acquiring the things he wants in life by any means. Brit was blinded by love and held hostage by thought of who Lamar used to be instead of who he was. I appreciated Brit's strength and her need to set boundaries. Some may say she was doing to much but sis was taking her life back. Shy may have been the remedy for his family but Brit was the remedy for him.

Shy thought it was going to be hard to love his imperfections. But, showing his true colors help him to grow emotionally and mature to the man Brittany needed him to be. Her chain of life events could've created a miserable effect on their relationship but because Shy went hard for his loved ones... He helped Brittany free the love reigns all around her... Love hides a multitude of sin, but it also conquers ALL!

I’m The Remedy (The Berotte Family Book 4)
This Book was a Great Read. I truly love the Berotte Family camaraderie. This book introduces us to excitement, suspense, romance, and steamy romance sciences. There’s lies and drama in Shy and Brittany book. I most definitely would recommend this book. I can’t wait to read Chad’s and Zay book. I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️ who’s book is next but I can’t wait to read it.

Listen, mannn! Ayeeeeeee Monica you have done it again!!!!!!!!! If he doesn’t have Shyron Berotte energy, I D O N ‘ T W A N T I T OKAY!!!!? Like the energy he had off rip when it came to Brittany was UNMATCHED, baybeeeeeeh! Their story (of course) unfolded so perfectly & it seems like he was just what she needed in that moment. None of the Berotte men have disappointed this far & I can’t wait to dig into Isaiah’s story. Well done *claps hands* !!!

Y’all….Gimme a sec while I gather myself cuz this book had me like what?! Ms.Monica come front and center because I was not expecting to read what I read. I’m not gonna put any spoilers but sheesh. Shy did not play about Brittany and his family. When I tell you this man is dangerously petty. I thought I knew petty but nahh I was surely mistaken. Shy is the epitome of a get back with a smile on his face. Y’all read this book while I go find me an unhinged corporate thug with a grill ✌🏽

Surely the “Remedy”
Shy just gives you goosebumps. His aggressiveness is just enough to leave you panting for your breath. It’s only right that he would be a saving Grace for Britt. His protective nature leaves him open and vulnerable and that’s what I loved most about this story. Those SPICY scenes had me on the edge of my seat at well. I love a man that dominate 😉

I am trying to picture this tall drink of chocolate wearing suits and grills...whew!!! Shyron is bae!!! If Brittany wasn't going to take him, I will!!! I love this family and looking forward to the next book in the series. I wouldn't mind a book on Ali, that fellow is giving me the boss BDE vibe.

Shyron is too much!
I felt sorry for Brittany because Shy is too much for anyone to handle alone. Shy walked around with BDE 24/7 & an even bigger ego. Even Alexa was shocked about his feelings about Brittany: " Imagine that. The nigga that can't hold cold water around his family kept that shit tucked tight." But Brittany had to pull out the her biggest weapon to calm his ass down: gawk gawk 3000! That'll do it 😁 Britt calmed that beast with a quickness!

Lawd, I did not want this book to end! Whew I loved the other brothers but baby Shy was something serious! He was a straight thug but loving all at the same time. Britt did not stand a chance. I want Shy to continue but I'm ready to read Chad and Isaiah book too! Can we get all 3 at once, lol. Loved every minute of it. Awesome read!!!!

Brittany and Shy’ron
This story was a lot of twists and turns with them. I thought for a minute they wasn’t going to make it being a couple. Shy’ron is the fixer and gangster of the family and I love that he go on hard for the ones he love. Brittany need to get a backbone or it was going to be an issue. We all know you can’t let your past dictate your future.

An good addition
This book was a good addition to the series. I enjoyed Shyron and Brittany’s love story. Shyron is rough around the edges and solid. He is straightforward and shows love aggressively if he is down for you! Im glad Brittany was able to accept is vision of love.I’m enjoying the series. Looking forward to the next brother’s love journey.

I’m The Remedy
I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars, because it made cry, it made me laugh and renewed love for another Berotte Family. We got to meet a new family member, and stuff we would have never imagine. Great job Mrs. Monica Walters, I looking forward to the next installment.
