What the heck? That's it?

Cassie is in a crappy long relationship with a major D-bag. It's always his way, finally she gets what she wants, a week trip at a ski lodge. They get in a big fight, before this she is stranded on the hills in nasty weather (he of course doesn't seem to concerned, because on top of being a d-bag he has a side of ass hat too). Why they fight is because the guy she skied into, Daniel, helped her down and they came into the lodge together. Mr. D-bag, or Rick as the author has named him breaks up with her and leaves her stranded at the lodge.

Cassie and Dan become friends and spend time together, and they are running hot and cold. And really I can't say hot, more so lukewarm and cold. Both jumping to conclusions with out asking.

And what the heck is with the end, it just ended.

It wasn't for me. There was potential but in the end it didn't do it for me.

How do you know when the relationship is dead stagnant?
When do you walk away and break it off because it isn't just going no where, it is hurting you or the other person.
Cassidy Jensen is on a week trip to ski with her longtime boyfriend, she is trying a romantic getaway to rekindle their relationship. But the first day there is a snow blizzard and their couple doesn't survive it so the terrible boyfriend ditches and abandons Cassidy at the ski lodge.
Daniel Robertson visits SnowPeaks, the ski lodge just like he does every year since he was a child. He loves the skiing and the old friends that own/operate the resort. Daniel helps out when he can and he ends up saving Cassidy multiple times during her week stay (without the boyfriend). They fall in love, etc... Cute story and a short quick easy read. Clean romance, just some kissing and cuddling.

The book was pretty good I liked both Cassidy and Daniel. The reason this gets two stars from me is even though I liked both main characters I felt like they just moved too quickly and not in a we're passionate kind of way. It didn't really seem that there was a connection Cassidy just wanted someone nice and Daniel just wanted someone. I know the book tried to make it seem like he was coming back to life after meeting Cassidy and losing his wife but I just felt like their wasn't any passion in him. And the reactions were to the Rick situation was over the top. Overall it wasn't bad but it definitely didn't suck me in .

Snowbound is a story that lasts about a week at a ski resort. Girl is on ski vacation with bully boyfriend who leaves her alone on the ski slop in a blizzard. Good guy with emotional problems helps her get back to lodge. The bully leaves her at the ski resort, stranding her. She stays to ski the rest of the week and has a good time until the flowers start to arrive. You need to read the book to find out first how bad the bully can get and about the details of all the rescues and the ending. I don't want to give too much away, so you can enjoy this sweet story.

I was really liking this one until the end. First off it seemed like it had just got started instead of it being the ending and for me it was such a disappointment that it's an implied HEA. That's it. I'm not a fan of implied HEA or HFN. It would have definitely been about a 3.5 if not for the ending. The heroine had a couple stupid moments but not enough to shelf her on TSTL. But it was still one of the better books I have read lately.

It was a really good story. It was a fun and easy read. However the ebook from amazon had a lot of spelling and grammar errors. And I personally didn't care for the ending. The author built up this wonderful fairy tale story and then it was like she got bored and ended it the fastest and most boring way she could. Would love to see a second book in a sersis. But for a free download it was well worth the read.

bleh! writing was wishy washy. went from too lazy to too stiff and thought out. a lot of filler writing which no one wants in such a short story. it's got this great steamy cover (with poorly depicted characters) and the romance was cold (pun intended). and we finally get maybe something at the end and... eh! The End

I loved this book. I'm glad that she decided to stay at the resort and not leave. It was like she was starting over and realizing that he was treating her bad.
