Mafia Daddies #3

Watch Me Daddy

Rate this book
I can’t stop obsessing over my Daddy.

Tall, deadly, cold. While other people call him a robot, I know the truth. Underneath that big bad mafia exterior is a man that I want to call my own. The only problem? He doesn’t see me as more than a toy. Oh and he’s straight. But…

He’s mine.

Whenever I look at Riccardo Bianchi I see DADDY in big, bold letters. Too bad he keeps me at arm’s length. Maybe it’s for the best because there are things about me that Riccardo doesn’t know. Dark things.

Life starts going to hell and he needs me more than ever. Even if Riccardo doesn’t know it, I’ll protect him with my life.

And I’ll slaughter anyone who gets in my way.

*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.***

Watch Me Daddy is the third installment in Mafia Daddies series featuring gruff Riccardo and dangerously sweet Arie. Both are such strong individuals on their own, but together they are able to relax, become vulnerable and together they have one of the most intensely sweet bonds in this series.

Riccardo is emotionally repressed, making him appear stoic to everyone, but with Arie he lets his guard down, thus creating a fascinating dynamic of trust between the two. Arie is also a welcome surprise due to his spitfire nature that on the outside seems harmless can change instantly.

Overall Watch Me Daddy is another entertaining entry in this wildly addicting series. Arie was such a welcome surprise, I had no idea what to expected and was not disappointed in some of his character reveals. His bond with Riccardo was very nurturing and sweet and I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and develop.

I liked this soo much better than book two, but I still needed more. I think if we could have gotten a prologue of how Arie and Riccardo met and their initial reactions to each other, it would have helped build a foundation. I felt like we were dropped in chapter four and I was playing catch up for a bit. But once I got there I really liked both MCs.

Riccardo was an interesting character and I really enjoyed seeing him open up little by little with Arie. Arie was fun and I loved how he was all in for Riccardo and anyone who dared come between them was gonna pay. He was this ball of light even though he did dark things. I loved Arie and Riccardo together.

As far as the kink, this wasn’t actually heavy on the Daddy kink. It was more in that Arie decided Riccardo was his Daddy and Riccardo loved being called that, but the real kink was in what Riccardo did with Arie. Which was great too, but for me, the Daddy aspect was lacking a bit.

Overall, still a good read. The suspense stuff for me comes second to the couples and it’s honestly a bit predictable and I’m okay with that. I knew what was going to happen by 50% and have a feeling I know why things are happening after learning what we learned, but it doesn’t Bother me. I’m really hoping we get Nic and Conor. Idk if that’s a thing that is going to happen but I feel like Nic needs a Daddy to keep him in line and it should be Conor.

I fell in love with the Bianchi family since the first book, Break Me Daddy, and with each book I fall more in love with them. They're all family but so different from each other. So I love seeing each Bianchi man find their soul mate that is just perfect for them.
In Watch Me Daddy, it is Riccardo Bianchi's turn to fall into the hands of fate. And oh boy, did the fates have a big surprise for him in the form of a sassy firecracker. Arie did not hold his emotions in check, was unpredictable, and had so many facets to his persona. Which I loved because I never knew what he would do next, keeping me glued from beginning to end. Riccardo on the other hand kept his emotions tightly locked down, portraying little to no emotions, except his attraction for Arie. The attraction between these two was sizzling HOT 🥵. But that wasn't the problem, it was getting Riccardo to show and admit his true feelings. Arie saw beneath Riccardo's "robotic persona" and he stubbornly chipped away at that control until Riccardo had no choice but give in and face his true feelings. The sweet, vulnerable moments between them just melted my heart.
There was also suspense and action as the Bianchis continue trying to stop their enemies from destroying their legacy and with every book they're are one step closer. I'm also anxiously waiting for the next book to see who is the next victim of fate.

I loved this one so much. Arie and Riccardo are so evenly matched. Both have masks they wear and fear they won't be accepted for who they truly are. But they ultimately see each other fully and just as importantly, allow themselves to be seen. I adored how Arie was committed to taking care of his "daddy", and he could be just as nurturing and protective as Riccardo, perhaps even more so. Their relationship definitely has its share of intense emotion and spice, but I think it may also be the sweetest entry in this series yet. I'm very excited to see which Bianchi will be featured in book 4.

I'm giving this book 3.5⭐.
It was well written and had very few grammatical mistakes compared to other installments in the series, but I think the story could've been so much better.

We had 2 really interesting MMCs and the plot was also more developed than before, we're finally coming to some idea as to what is going on with the Bianchi family and I feel like we're now getting to the more interesting books in this series. So many good side characters here and I really hope we'll get stories of them all.

🟢 Mafia romance (this time the mafia part was more believable)
🔵 Age gap of about 10 years
🟡 Daddy/boy dynamic, not intense
🟣 GFY (the older MMC)
🌶️ Spice was good; t/b
❗ Potential TW : Sex workers, murder, mental illness

As far as the Daddy/boy dynamic goes, it's safe to say that this was the best and most believable so far in the series. It felt very organic, both Riccardo and Arie were simply made for it.

Riccardo was the silent, introvert brother in the family. He also had anxiety, depression and based on how he acted, he was most likely neurodivergent.
I really liked Riccardo. He was a really interesting character, he felt mature, serious, dangerous and the only one that really fit the role of the Daddy, he was a natural, one of those guys that doesn't have to read about it or try it on, he just is.

This was my Riccardo.

Arie was a 24-year old sex worker in one of the Bianchi's brothels. He actually came from money, so he could've gone back home at any time, but he didn't want to. He liked his job and Ric was his client.
Arie was also a psychopath, which wasn't explored or explained more. He had murder tendencies since he was 11 years old, he occasionally killed people and loved doing it, so I was surprised when the Bianchis didn't involve him more in the business, he seemed like he'd fit right in, but he ended up taking over the brothel he worked at, so I guess that was fine too.

This was my Arie.

🌶️ Ric and Arie had a specific thing going on when Ric was his client. He was dressing Arie up and fucking him like a doll, so that was an interesting part of them having sex, but Ric was also straight, Arie being the only guy he wanted to have sex with.

The sex was good, great, even, at all times I could feel Riccardo's presence, his sexual desire and even though he didn't take on the role of the dominant partner in their dynamic (it was more equals), he was definitely sexually agressive, so I liked that.
I liked Ric in general, everything about him.

"The big, bad mafia man who loved playing dress up with his doll and the whore who loved him. We were an unlikely pair, but I knew we were meant to be together."

So, would you call it GFY or being pansexual, I have no idea, it wasn't talked about much, but considering Riccardo was really closed down and let noone in, I would've thought when him and Arie finally came together, he'd snatch Arie out of that brothel and dragged him to his place, but that's not really what happened .

Arie was going back there and also took on another client, Riccardo knew it was his work and he was obviously fine with it, even though they've established already there was something more to them liking each other. Arie's been to Ric's home, had dinner with his family, so yeah, it was weird seeing him going back to that brothel and having sex with another guy.

Not only that, he talked about going to work in a russian brothel to gather intel for the Bianchis and Ric was up for it, but he later changed his mind.

I mean, I have no problem if they determined for Arie to keep his job and Ric accepting him having sex with his clients, but that mine mine mine seems obsolete in that scenario then.
That and Arie not being more involved in the family, considering he was a killer, didn't work for me in this book.

There was a really big potential for this story to take on that serious mafia edge, but in the end, what was written wasn't enough. Both MMCs were really good, they had great chemistry and good dialogues, I didn't for a minute have any doubts Arie loved Riccardo, so I'm kind of disappointed their story wasn't more developed, I think it needed an additional step forward to really do justice to these characters, but as it is, I'll always wonder how Arie moved in, how their days went, did he kill some more, did he go on any work trips with Ricc, how was the brothel doing? You know, it could've been written, the epilogue could've been longer and covered all that.

I feel like we're getting there, hopefully the next book will be better, but so far it's still Amadeo and Six that I like best.

I'm really hoping we'll get a complete villain teamed up with the psycho-boy Nic in the next book. 😉🤞

The other two books in this series have been great so I was really excited for this one! The set up was a little bit different than the other ones and sadly I couldn’t fully connect with the story.

I think part of it was because I never felt the connection between Riccardo and Arie, probably because the book starts with them already sleeping with each other and it just felt like I missed out on their beginning. I liked Arie and I'm really curious about how their dynamic will develop once they get settled in their relationship - hopefully they will reappear in the coming books.

I found the Daddy kink to be a little absent, Arie liked to call Ric Daddy, but the dynamic wasn't talked about on page and there wasn't any typical daddy/boy scenes. There were a few scenes with dollification which I loved - however the dynamic was already established before the book started so it just happened without any talking about it beforehand.

I guess it just felt like I landed in the middle of their story and spent the first part a bit confused - it's most likely just a me thing though. If you like your mafia romances dark and intense with some Daddy kink you should really give this series a try!

While each book in this series does focus on a new couple, I highly recommend reading them in order as the main set of events builds upon the previous ones. Plus, there may be potential spoilers for the books that came before. That being said, I love this series! It's gritty mafia with some truly bad guys and the Bianchis are crazy yet I love them anyways. Ric is an interesting character. He's much different than his brothers in that he's perfectly content with being quiet and on his own though he does love his family. Him and Amadeo definitely have a difference of opinion on some matters but he's totally loyal (unless anyone wants to try and mess with Arie again).

Arie comes across as a sassy, confident, and bright in the beginning. But once you go deeper, he's got a darkness to him that I think compliments the mafia lifestyle quite nicely. It was great to see him stand up to Riccardo and even though he's a boy, he's no pushover. I like Six and Calix but I think Arie may be my favorite boy so far. That may be because he loves being a doll and letting Riccardo dress him up before getting messy. After stumbling upon that kink a while back, I got hooked and Skyler did an amazing job of adding in dollification. To me, this is probably the lightest Daddy/boy story as the focus is more on building trust for Riccardo to accept the feelings he's having and less on the power dynamics between them. I will say that one of my favorite scenes was Arie taking care of Riccardo and just giving him space while feeding him a sandwich. It probably the highlight for me outside of the on fire scenes!

I absolutely cannot wait to see what's in story for the Bianchi family. What long buried family secrets will be uncovered? Who's crazy enough to put up with Nic's crazy? Will Dario ever get someone to take him mind off of shiny electronics for 5 minues? I need to know! Also, Conner needs his own story as well. A spin off with the Irish mob please and thank you!!

➳ Every time I think Skyler Snow’s Daddies cannot get any hotter, they just add more gasoline to the already burning inferno. This book contains revenge plots, hidden agendas, turf wars, daddy kink, utterly mouth-watering smut, and a storyline that just won’t quit. It will leave you breathless and begging for more. 🤤 Arie is a sex worker with some dark desires and he only wants Riccardo Bianchi. Ric is a mafia daddy who shuts himself off from the rest of his family and prefers to be alone, that is until Arie makes demands that Riccardo can’t seem to ignore.
.
➳ Things I LOVED…
🔥Possession from BOTH MCs
🔥DOLLIFICATION
🔥Mafia Daddy and Sex Worker
🔥And some inner rage that will make you melt.
.
➳ P.S. I really really really need a book for Niccolo, like as soon as possible, I am salivating for this man, I cannot get enough.

Arie and Riccardo. *sigh* I just adored them. Arie really stole the show, Riccardo was just his back up singer.

Arie was this adorable and deadly little psychotic teddy bear. He would not let anyone come between him and his Daddy. Riccardo fights Arie every step of the way. The push/pull dynamic they had worked wonderfully for them, and it was certainly spectacular for us readers. It was definitely hot. I’m just gonna say one word: dollification. Ugh. I was so here for it. Arie was perfect for it.

Riccardo and his mafia family are still trying to find out exactly what is going on with the Russians and I am enjoying that storyline immensely. Arie really shows a new level of loyalty trying to ferret out some information for Riccardo and Ama.

I am loving this series so much. Arie might be my favorite so far, as he was just crazy enough to be absolutely lovable. I’m already anticipating the next story in the Mafia Daddies series.

Wow. I loved this book so much! I loved how unashamed Arie is about his profession and his lifestyle choices. His hidden side was a good twist as well which I adored.

The relationship between the two men was so different as well but so well written. I was hooked on this book from the beginning and will absolutely continue this series

This was an awesome third installment in this Ruthless Daddies series. Arie and Riccardo have a very different dynamic from the first two but I still loved it. It was fun to see the different personalities of the Bianchi’s shine through, rather than another cookie cutter of Amadeo.

Riccardo is stoic, isolated and anti-social. He’s suppressed his own emotions due to childhood trauma and his mental illness isolates him from his family and forming real connections. Hence why he starts visiting Arie in the first place - an outlet for his kink. But it turns into so much more. I enjoyed Arie’s obsessive nature, taking the more possessive and probably clinically psychotic role in the relationship. It was interesting to see Riccardo and Arie grow into the depth of their relationship and the trust build between them. The quiet moments were so tender and sweet. And it made the specific kink even hotter.

The plot in this book moves the overarching storyline forward. I enjoyed Arie’s role in it and seeing the brothers/cousins work together more. It does seem to be dragging a bit with not a lot to show for their efforts, but this one was a bit more exciting.

I would love to see Nic’s book in which he finds a Daddy to reign him in a bit. I could totally see him as a brat.

Watch Me Daddy by Skyler Snow is the 3rd book in the Mafia Daddies series. This Book is not a standalone but each book is a different couple with an ongoing problem throughout the series. The Bianchi family is being targeted by a Russian group for an unknown reason. As the series moves on we as the reader get more clues and some answers to what’s really going on.

This book was completely Crazy Nutballs!!! And I loved it. What a crazy ride and I’m so here for it!!

“He’s getting agitated. I don’t know what would be worse;upsetting him or you.” Um?? Seriously!!
Because Arie and Riccardo are both scary in their own way.
They really are perfect for each other
There is a song by Todrick Hall called BOTH that to me is Arie’s theme song. Fits him!!

Murder, mayhem, being put on pins and needles to what comes next and an HEA is what you can expect in this fantastic series and each one keeps getting better and better.

I received an Arc from gay romance reviews and this is my honest opinion.

Riccardo would never admit it, but I knew the truth about him. He was terrified. Of losing control, of showing his emotions, of letting anyone in. But I refused to give up on him. I would pry his chest open with my bare hands and wrench out his beating heart if that’s what I had to do to reach him.

Arie was the real MVP of this book

“You came out here all alone, right? Clearly, you were asking for it.” My fist slammed against his face. I felt the skin split against my knuckles and his head whipped to the side. “Men who tease deserve whatever they get. Right? Or does that only apply to whores?”
He sucked in a raspy breath. “Didn’t… didn’t mean it…”
“I didn’t mean it,” I mocked. “Bullshit. You meant it. They all mean it. Every shitty man I’ve ever dealt with was like that. You take one look at someone like me and see nothing but a punching bag and a hole to dump your cum in. You’re all the fucking same.”

I seem to be in the minority here but I didn’t love this book as I did the others in this series. It was so different from the first two because those Daddy’s were possessive of their boy where as Ric was okay with Arie having sex with other people. Even went as far as having Arie have sex with a John that had hit him just the week before. I feel like Ama and Gabriele would have NEVER allowed that to happen and that’s what I loved so much about their books. Usually when reading an escort book, the escort will stop having sex with clients at most, half way through the book, but Arie kept his appointments with clients the entire book and that really bugged me. I hope we can see another possessive Daddy in the next book and not a Daddy that makes his boy sleep with someone who assaulted them.

Yes, yes, he is this man who does not confess his love, and that Arie is important to him, but he was ready to shoot his cousin because he called him sexy, and he was not joking about the act. He was very serious and wanted to strangle him, and now he wants to kill and stab the man who touched Arie, and he is the same. When the man asked Arie to go, he agreed, but for his own sake, and told the bodyguards to secure the place more and that if anything happened to Arie, he would take revenge on them. I liked how Arie was able to take... His right is in his own hands, and when Louis discovered this, Arie tried to tell him not to tell Riccardo, but the guard refused, and I liked that Ricc was actually afraid for him. I liked that Ricc did not care and wanted Arie to do so, and told him that he was his, even though Arie told him that he did not want him to. He sees it like that. I liked that Ricc dealt with Arie's other side. I liked the part of the fight in the bathroom and how they hurt each other with the knife. I can kind of understand Arie's feelings when someone tells him that your boyfriend won't love you. He will never choose you. I want people to stop abusing prostitutes as well. Not everyone really has a choice in this. I really loved Arie's feelings, and it made me sad to see him so afraid. That's how I loved that he apologized to Ricc and that he wanted to leave, but Ricc told him that he wanted him, and when Arie told him, do you still want me after all? Something happened. Rics told him one more word and I'll kick your ass. I loved how accepting Ricc was of Arie and that he told him he would be his daddy. Because he wants him, and I loved to see that when he confessed, Ricc became blushing. I loved that Ricc had a panic attack as soon as I saw him far away from him and in danger. I loved that he had a fight with his brother and was about to kill him. I loved how important it was to see about Ricc, really.

Watch Me Daddy, Riccardo and Arie's story was dark, twisted, brutal, chaotic and surprisingly sweet all at the same time. The book kept my attention from the first page and didn't let go until I'd finished.

Arie is a seemingly sweet sex worker at a brothel owned by the Bianchi family. Riccardo Bianchi is in charge of overseeing the brothel and finds himself attracted to Arie even though he has always identified as straight. Arie has been in love with Riccardo since he met him and wants Riccardo to be his Daddy for more than an occasionally night. Riccardo doesn't like to feel emotions and tries not to let Arie charm him into feeling anything.

The Russian storyline which has been in every book is prominent in this one as well, and Riccardo finally figures out that Arie isn't as innocent as he acts. Arie helps Riccardo let down his walls, and get in touch with his feelings for the first time in many years.

The plot was engaging and the heat between Arie and Riccardo was on fire! I am living for this series and can't wait until the next one is released.

I received an advanced review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoy this series, however, this one fell flat for me on plausibility reasons and the characters chemistry alone.

I love the Bianchis, this world is fun and I can always rely on the spice hitting. This one was NOT as spicy as the others, which was kind of a let down, but I love the character cameos from the series and the story flows well enough to keep me engaged when I’m otherwise bored.

Arie and Ric have great chemistry. This is what we are told and how it pans out throughout the story. I had problems with their relationship issues and miscommunications that are chalked up to their mental illnesses to them just “being” how they are. That can only take me so far when there is that eventual moment of understanding. That moment for me felt very rushed.

It’s simply implausible for Arie to have the combat skills he demonstrates without it being stated that he has these skills. He’s just a psychopath that likes to kill people period. That doesn’t mean he can pop off only to get ass kicked soon after.

I’m have never enjoyed dollification before this specific book. It was just how it was all written, the scenes with the heat and the character connection all meshed together so well. Riccardo and Arie were truly sublime. Riccardo also turned into my favorite Bianchi because of his flaws and struggles. Not just internally, but with his family. I wanted to tell Riccardo to stop being stubborn and blind and I wanted to tell Arie to just be himself and live free! I liked that they were already kind of in the middle of their blossoming romance when the story began. It seemed like everything was done backwards, but that was the only way that it was going to come to fruition. They were so perfect for each other in every way and they didn’t even know for so long. And then they did and I was screaming yes!!!! This series just keeps getting better and better.

My absolute favorite out of the Mafia Daddies series so far!

Arie and Riccardo were absolute FIRE 🔥

"The thought of Riccardo slaughtering everyone in his path because they had hurt his doll did funny things to me."

Arie is a little stabby crazy thing, and we all know I love my MMC's a little unhinged. And when you consider dismembering a body to be romantic... well, you just know there are a few screws loose.

Riccardo was withdrawn and showed very little emotion, except when it came to Arie. Arie somehow managed to bring Riccardo back to life every time they were together.

Add in a little doll play, which I haven't come across too often, and they lit these pages on fire.

Wowzah!

Ric and Arie were sweet in an unexpected way where it was mostly brutal, rough, and dirty but there was an underlying sweetness that had me glued to my kindle app.

I was intrigued by Ric in the other books and it wa so satisfying to watch him open up and feel things again. The plot was maybe a tad bit predictable but the dollification was a nice surprise (maybe I just missed it in the blurb but I wasn’t expecting it!).

I am loving this series! It’s not always easy to see the sweet side of morally gray characters especially when they are as brutal as the Bianchi’s and do work in areas that ultimately hurt people. However, I find myself really liking the hard and intense dynamics in this series and the ongoing plot is interesting which makes me excited for more!!

Super fabulous dynamic here with Arie and Ric!! Ric is a bit of a loner and does not show much emotion or attachment to anyone or anything. Arie is such a sassy and determined boy! He is confident and knows what he wants, and he has decided Ric shall be his Daddy! Their relationship is so crazy and emotionally intense. Arie will let nothing come between him and Ric, and once Ric's emotions are awakened, he is very protective and possessive of Arie as well. Super steamy and I loved the progressing romance as well as the other Mafia family, friends, violence and action!

This story was pure chaos – but in a good way, fitting of the emotionally-repressed Riccardo and the psychotic-adjacent Arie. From page 1, you’re thrown into an intense psychological game between the two MC’s, a lot of pining, doubting, questioning, sexy times, and then lots of mob action – murder, torture, and the like.

The intensity of the book doesn’t let up, in both the storyline and the romance between the two men – even the epilogue is still a bit charged with the same energy as the main story. I would definitely say this book leans more towards a dark romance than not, but it doesn’t have the heaviness that a true dark romance has. It’s just got a lot of additional stuff that you might not be used to.

High energy, fast read with really enjoyable, morally-grey and psychologically diverse characters. Really enjoyed it.

I had very big issues on this book. I thought I had a problem with the mutt on the previous one but this one takes the cake. I liked the book overall but I couldn't get past the whole casual sex worker scenario. Not the killing and murdering but the brothel made me lose my interest and almost dnf at the very beginning.

I really liked book one and had been waiting for books two and three to come out on audio as well.
But yeah… they’re just not hitting the same. I got a bit bored and felt like something was missing. Maybe it’s also because there’s a different narrator, idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

I did learn something new tho: personally, I don’t think doll kink is my jam. It gave serial killer vibes and not in a good way.
