Still grieving her father's death and working hard to keep her father's legacy, the Starlight Cafe going, Millie Pepper is trying to keep her nose out of the Sheriff's business. But, her background of being a detective in the city is still in there. This is the third book in a really good cozy mystery with great characters including Waffle, Millie's astute pet bunny. But with her Grandma, another fantastic character, is the last one seen with the local butcher who is found murdered, she gets arrested as prime suspect number one! Will Luca, who adores Millie and is a police detective be able to help her? Will she chance getting arrested for interfering in the investigation of the murder? How could she not investigate? It is her Grandmother after all! So, at the risk of being found out by the sheriff as she investigates, she is going full force to find a murderer and free her grandma. The author takes you on a roller coaster ride until a great ending with mystery, humor and a little soft romance. I really like this series and you will too! I received and Arc of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Loss is inevitable…

It is the anniversary of her father’s death and Milly Pepper is still struggling to move on. She cannot endure any more loss; not a relationship, not a relative, not a friend. So when a murder occurs and her beloved Gran is a suspect, Milly is determined to solve the case with the support of her pet bunny, Waffle.

This is the first book I have read in this series. It is a fun story with some humor, some drama, and a hint at romance. I felt like the ending was a little too quick but overall, I liked the book. I received an advance copy of this book but my review is honest and voluntary.

I hadn't read the first two books in a couple or so years, so I was happy when this series came to Kindle Unlimited and I could borrow the final book in the trilogy. I'd read the first two as ARCs and enjoyed Milly, Gran and cute little Waffle, the clue-finding bunny’s adventures.

Being a former police officer, Milly was smart when it came to showdowns and takedowns. I loved how she caught the killer and even solved an older murder at the same time. It was too bad law enforcement in Star Lake didn't like Milly because they were missing out on working with an amazing investigator, clumsy sometimes, but so was Clouseau and he always got his perp lol.

Great read!

I just finished the 3 book series and I'm hoping more will follow. Murder, mystery, budding romance. Former police officer Milly Pepper struggles to make go of the cafe her father left her. Dhe might have better luck if she didn't keep having to solve crimes instead, especially when her Gran is arrested. If you love cozy mysteries, you have to give these books a read.

Fine conclusion to this three book Saga of a girl and her bunny solving murders! An intriguing mystery. Lots of laugh out loud moments. And of course Romance. And a suspenseful ending! Which leaves It Wide Open for another three book trilogy hint hint!

I really enjoyed this easy to read Cozy Mystery. Of course a feel good happy ending is always the best. I will look into you other book on my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Fantastic

I really like how she got her man. At the end. she doesn't great jobs solving all of the murders and wants to keep me reading. Looking forward to the next book

Milly's grandmother is arrested for murder so Milly has to solve the case. Plenty of activity going on and more than enough suspects. A great fun read.
