I truly, truly loved this series, but I will say this right now we needed more closure. I’m happy things ended the way it did with Alf, but I would have loved to see how things ended with the women. That’s what I truly wanted. Also, the way Justin turned out…. I need to ask this…. Why did Mallory need to go study up on holy magic for Ar-Undead? I found that to be idiotic. Sorry, harsh I know and critical but so very true, don’t you think? Also this story was a harem, I think it should have ended with the HAREM…. The series as a whole though was so phenomenal. Superbly written with so many funny parts, so much fantastic world building and just simply great characters. I’m just let down and disappointed by the things I’ve listed. I think King dropped the ball here. It’s not a deal breaker but it could have made the series flawless in MY eyes. All in all I’ll give this 4.75 ⭐️. I loved it. Onward to the next series lads! Maybe Warlock? Let’s see what strikes our fancy!
Justin's rollicking tale of action, adventure and spice has come to a close. What a series this has been, from a mundane life to one immersed in magic, battles and a grand conspiracy to unravel. The final battle was simply amazing . While I'm sorry the series is over, it was wrapped up with aplomb. Do yourself a big favor and read the series, you'll enjoy it immensely!
They did a great job with the ending of the series. The battles come, the struggles are endured, and they do a great job wrapping up the loose ends. There's a nigh "Return of the King" length epilogue that does a great job detailing details of major characters. All in all, it was a very satisfying journey with a pleasant end.
This book seemed a bit rushed but I loved it all the same I love how everyone would go off on tangents describing situations a funny as they can whilst still being serious
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, not enough to want to read it again, but enough to keep myself entertained when they came out. Mr. King writes very interesting books
You will laugh and cheer at all the adventure and humor in this series!!!! Great characters, powerful wild magic and great adult fantasy activities!!! You won't go wrong reading this authors works!!! I can't wait to see what they come up with next!!!!
Now I have read this series I can honestly say I have enjoyed every one of the books, it would be nice to think that in the near future there would be more in this series ?.
I really enjoyed reading this book. This was one of the best series I've read so far. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. It's one of the few that I intend to read again. This book and series is definitely worth checking out.
The author does an nice job of finalizing the story for each of the main characters. The completion of the plot was handled with great care. Quiet a fulfilling story.
This series, in my opinion, is by far the best you have written! The characters are colorful, the dialogue often very funny and the action rolls and rolls. I think I will start a reread of the series today!
Nicely Concluded After wrapping up the three creation mages required to be involved to restore universal magic, Justin is feeling pretty good but it quickly becomes clear that that alone doesn't solve all the world's problems.
Through investigation and consultation with the Chaosbanes and his extended crew, its determined that he should help restore the queen to her rightful throne, while helping to overthrow and destroy a organization that has revealed that was behind the plot to destroy universal magic.
There is a huge battle where his fleet of flying warships attack the castle, while Justin and a small group of his crew seek out the leader of the enemy group. There is a huge fight, the universal magic which has been sucked out of the world somehow gets released and Justin gets to absorb it all, so he becomes super human, allowing him to easily defeat the big bad epic monster, and swiftly bring an end to the siege of the castle.
In his new found god-like state he is pretty happy and there is a nice lingering denouement, where the crew plans an extended 6. month vacation, and various sub-groups head off to wrap up various dangling issues.
