I have a child with a man whose real name I don’t even know…
No, I’m not crazy. I’m just careless. Or rather, I was careless.
At 18, I met an older man on vacation. Never asked his name, but we sure as hell made a baby together.
Today, when I finally meet him, I find out he’s going to be my boss. Life has to be joking around with me. Well, his real name is Archer. At least I know that much about my baby daddy!
Archer wants to give us a second chance. That was after he found out he’s got a daughter. My answer is no.
We could share a child, but I refuse to give him my heart. Not when I know his own heart is closed off.
But what do I do when he puts his arm around me and gives me goosebumps? Oh boy, I feel 18 all over again and I have a feeling that another mistake is right around the corner…

I really wanted to love this. I was excited by the description and pre ordered, and even the beginning was drawing me in. Then it fell flat. Lane and Archer meet on a beach in Mexico. She a sweet 18 year old on a girls trip as new adults, he was 8 years older and a Navy SEAL, but they hit it off immediately. They spend a romantic week together before he ships off and she goes home to start her adult life. She calls him “Joe” short for GI Joe, and never learns his real name. She regrets that when she learns she pregnant and has no means to find him.
Ten years go by before their paths cross again. Her boss is friends with Archer and “loans” her to Archer to help him get his new business location running smoothly as she’s an admin assistant extraordinaire. He is overjoyed to see her as he never forgot about her, even if he’s still certain he is not someone worthy of a relationship. He is still riddled with guilt over not being able to save his brothers life as a child, and also has a job that potentially puts him in danger, so he’s certain he can’t have anything like a family. Then he sees Lane and discovers he has a daughter.
I was expecting this to be a story where he was pushing for a chance and she was resistant. I love when the H is all in and doesn’t give up until he wins the girl. What I got instead was an h with an annoying inner monologue and ridiculous assumptions, who still continues to get naked with him regardless. They were separated through no fault on his part, and he had zero idea he had a child, so I hate when the idea of the woman is that he needs to “prove himself” worthy of being a parent. She didn’t have to prove herself before they let her bring the baby home from the hospital, so why should he have to? It’s his child, bottom line. She twisted everything he said or did. He got called away on a work emergency, because a person with a stalker was literally missing, so her first reaction is “see, he puts his job before being a father!” The missing person aside, lots of people work jobs where they are “on call” and potentially called away. That doesn’t make them unworthy as parents. He gave her a check for $10,000 and said he could do it monthly, because he had ten years of not helping to make up for. Her reaction was to be angry and say he only wanted to support her financially and not be a dad. What? While snuggled in bed he comments that his D is always thinking of getting in her P (sort of a joking comment about wanting her ). She shuts down and says to herself “that means he only wants me physically, and doesn’t care about me!” Dang girl, get a clue! She actually made everything so annoying I caved at 50% and called it a DNF. Disappointing.
I had been waiting for Lane Eliot the Assistant to Dane MacLeod and the one person who helped Dane and Ethan Wheatly get there HEA in bks.1 and 2.
Lane is paired off with Archer, Dane's best friend from the military. Ten years prior when Lane was a 18 year old virgin and Archer 26 years old Navy Seal meet in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They spend on week together having hot and erotic sex. Archer is being deployed. The one week affair results in Lane having a baby girl named Emery. The story fast forwards to 1o years.
Archer knows nothing about his 9 year old daughter. It's just my opinion about secret baby stories but I don't like it when the child and father are separated that long. Lane, Archer and Emery where separated way to long for my liking. This couple also, didn't have a lot of chemistry. There was not enough time spent on them interacting together!
Seriously good page turner... The title is apt & the story had me run the gamut of emotions. It was so good I couldn't put it down until it was finished. It was a toe curling holiday week for the older battle worn navy seal & a curvy lass just 18 & 9 months later she has a baby girl & didn't evn know the father's name. 10 years later her boss offers her serivces as an assistant to a friend who turns out to be the dad of her daughter. Only then it starts to geet seriously complicated, hold on tight for the ups & downs, the back & forth the reveals & that's before the hero rescues his woman & gets his act together. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Great second chance with a unpredictable twist It's a great romance that seems to start simply with a second chance that could be entirely predictable, but I really liked the twist in Lane and Archer's relationship when Archer's work brings an unpredictable event. Their relationship is tender, torrid, full of uncertainties, with an excellent description of their feelings and emotions.
Ajme Williams has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Lane and Archer. Lane met Archer in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico when she and her friends went on vacation together. Her friends left her after meeting some guys. Lane meets Archer when she is sitting on the beach looking out at the water. They end up spending the week together. Archer is a Navy Seal and is on leave. Lane doesn't know his real name and calls him Joe. After their week together, she returns and finds out she is pregnant. She doesn't know how to get in touch with Joe. Now 10 years later, she is at a friend's party and is ready to leave when she sees Joe again. She is shocked to see him there. Archer has sold his business to Noel St. Martin and now is working for him. He needs help setting up the business so he calls his friend Dane. He goes to meet with Dane to get the help he needs. Archer and Dane talk for a little bit and Dane tells him that he needs a good assistant. Archer wants to know if he knows of a good one. Dane tells him that he does and he makes a call. Lane comes into his office and Dane introduces her to Archer. He tells her that he is a good friend and that he needs some help with setting up and hiring a crew. At first, she is not sure about working for Archer. She has not been able to forget about their week together. Lane ends up going to work for Archer but at first, it is a little hard. They end up getting together and after that, she tells him that he is her boss and it can't happen again. She does not tell him about his daughter at this time. Lane gets the business up and running like it needs to be. One day Noel is there and he has a talk with Lane about Archer. After their talk, Lane decides not to tell Archer about their daughter Emery. Lane doesn't want to distract Archer from his work. He has told her that his work is it for him. Things happen and Archer is over at Dane's house and Dane's wife Bridget comes in and they had been talking about Lane. Bridget tells Archer to go to a certain place around 1:00 and he might see Lane. Archer is there and when he sees Lane come in, she has a little girl with her. Archer does the math and realizes that the girl is his. He goes up to Lane and she is shocked to see him there. He asked her "Is she mine?" Lane tells him that she is. Archer is mad that he has a daughter that he didn't know about. He thinks that Lane had plenty of time to tell him about Emery. He tells her that they have to talk. It takes a few days for Archer to cool down and he calls her and asked if they could talk. She wants to do it somewhere public but he said no. She ends up going to his apartment to have the talk. They work a few things out and she invites him over for dinner the next night so he can meet Emery. She still thinks that Archer puts his job above anything or anyone. This point is proven when he gets a call and leaves Lane and Emery. She is not going to let Archer hurt her daughter by not being there for her. She tells him what Noel told her about him. They come to an agreement for Archer to spend time with Emery on his own. While Archer has Emery, Lane goes out on a date with Tim. Emery is not too happy about this and lets Lane know it. Archer has a case he is working on and things do not go so well with it. Harper has a stalker who is after her and her brother Bran wants her locked up in her house. Harper can't live this way and talks Archer into taking her and her friend Anne out one night. Things don't go well on the outing. Bran finds out where they are and comes to the club. He fires Archer and makes Harper go home where he locks her up, not allowing her to have friends over or to go out. Archer is at Lane's house when he gets a call from Harper. This time Lane wants to go with him. When they get to Harper's she is not happy. There is a bodyguard out front who is not allowing anyone in to see Harper. Archer tells the man that if Harper wanted to she could call the police on him for keeping her in her house against her will. Things don't go so well while Archer is talking to Bran. Lane has agreed to do something for Harper outside. Harper and her friend Ann had planned to go into business together and Ann needed a check from Harper. Lane agreed to take the check to Ann. This was just a setup by Harper's stalker, Kerby to get to her. Kerby takes Lane in place of Harper. He wants Harper. Kerby calls Archer and tells him that he will exchange Lane for Harper and they have one hour to get to him. Archer has one of his guys locate where Kerby has taken Lane and he is ready to go after her. Before he can leave, Noel comes in and wants to go with the team. Will Archer get to Lane in time before Kerby hurts her? Will Lane and Archer work things out between them and become the family they want to be? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Merging the Love of the Past with Dreams of the Future
When Lane Eliot, an 18-year-old recent high school graduate, headed down to the Pacific Coast of Mexico with friends to the celebrate their achievements, Lane had no concrete plans except to relax and celebrate her recent accomplishments with her friends and to anticipate the new adventures that lay ahead. But for the beautiful girl with hazel-eyed beauty with the lush body of a Renaissance beauty, her plans changed.
For her friends, “adventures” began on the beach and included days of soaking up the Mexican sun and nights of celebrating their adulthood. And while Lane was invested in the soaking up the sun of Puerto Vallarta, the young, still innocent girl was not as invested in the drinking and “sleepovers” that her friends had planned for the nights and the men they might meet in Puerto Vallarta. So, Lane spent her evenings in a lounge chair looking longingly at the Pacific Ocean—longing to swim in the beautiful blue waters, but knowing that she should not swim alone.
But her Mexican adventure completely morphed into a life-altering encounter when she met “GI Joe”, a 28-year-old SEAL who with his blonde hair in a military haircut, a body that declared hours of training and workouts, and piercing blue-gray eyes, was also on a break before his next deployment. Sitting himself down next to the lone beauty, he discovered her longing to swim, but unwillingness to swim alone. And, so they agreed to be swim buddies. But what the chance acquaintances who became lovers never imagined was that their brief magical week-long encounter, with no disclosure of full names, would touch them so profoundly, having consequences that would be life changing.
Now, 10 years later, single mom Lane still thinks about that magical week and the man who opened her heart to love—a love she still felt profoundly. She thinks of “Joe SEAL” every day when she looks at her smart, curious, athletic, engaging daughter who looks so much like a feminine version of the man she had loved for a week. With her blonde hair and sharing the same eye shape of her dad but rather than the startling blue gray, she shared Lane’s hazel-colored eyes, Lane saw her former lover in their sweet daughter.
But, life brings unexpected surprises. Lane’s boss at McLeod Capital Investment, Dane McLeod, a former SEAL, is helping his SEAL buddy Archer Graves organize the recent merger of two security firm operations and work forces. Arch’s West Coast security operation, On Point Security, has merged with Noel St. Martin’s East Coast company to create Saint Security, with offices on the East and West Coast. And while Arch knows well how to handle the security operations, the office organization and the merger of the two firms is daunting.
So, when he turns to his military buddy for help, Dane admits that he didn’t create the order in his world. He walked into his dad’s well-organized company because of the presence of Lane Eliot, his irreplaceable and indubitable office manager. And out of friendship, he is willing to loan Lane to newly merged Saint Security to help him set up the new organizational structure. So, while Arch looked forward to the help of this organizational angel, what he never imagined was the office angel was the beautiful woman whose image had lived in his heart for the last 10 years—his sweet Lane. And while she helps him organize his professional life, would she be willing to help him bring wholeness to his personal life?
I am voluntarily leaving a review for this Kindle purchase, but enjoyed reading it so much that I have purchased all the other romances in this Ajme Williams series.
Lane is 18 years old and on a trip to Mexico with her friends. She heads alone to the beach and is approached by a gorgeous man who is a few years older than her. He is built and she is surprised he's even talking to her. He looks like a military guy and she calls him Joe as he looks like G.I. Joe. He goes along with that and asks her to join him for dinner. Knowing her friends already have plans to go out, she agrees. When they finish dinner he invites her to his room. She tells him she's more than interested but also tells him she is a virgin. Thinking he's not interested, she starts to leave. Then he grabs her hand and tells her that he still wants her and will be gentle. They spend an incredible week together. Now he has to get back to being a Seal. He only learned her name was Lane, but he never told her his name was Asher. Then he left.
Now it's 10 years later and Asher is starting a new job as CEO of a big security company in Los Angeles. He has to put the whole office together and that includes assistants and other office positions. He goes to visit his friend Dane who was a fellow Seal and is shocked to run into Lane. She is also surprised to see him. She is the Executive Assistant for Dane and is once again surprised when Dane volunteers her to work with Asher to help him get his office situated. She is even more shocked when she agrees.
Now working together, they both are nervous about their past. When they are together, sparks fly. What will happen when Lane tells him he is a father to a precocious daughter named Emory? Will he be angry and try to take her away?
So good! Emory is a hoot trying to end every date that her mom just recently started doing. Lane fights her want to be with Asher because he has a dangerous job which he puts above everything.

Let me first start by saying I very much enjoy Ajme Williams dreamy books. I've read several of them. As always, I can never seem to put it down, I want to know how it ends in one sitting. As to the review: I love both characters. I only have a few issues. I did think it got a little long.... Right when I thought the characters were on the same track. Boom another obstacle comes between then admitting to their emotions. Example: I somewhat guest what happen to Parker. But really had to wait that long to find out the actual history? I know everyone is into gap age, but couldn't Lane be between 23-25? I'm also surprised that their is a book for Bran. I didn't enjoy him. The plot against Harper also a bit old. I would have like to known a bit more of the stalker. Not when He is threatening Lane. I didn't like Acher walking away right after he saves Lane. But that is part of the story plot. He did write in his note he was being a coward. That is exactly how I felt that character was being. I know Tim's character is insignificant but I would rather have had a book about him that Harper's brother. Though I'm sure it will be just as good. Thanks for not making Tim a villain! I also didn't understand why Lane had to have only one partner in 10 yrs. It's sweet. But maybe she should have fooled around with Tim just once. Just to write about the different men. Not even necessarily putting in a full love scene between Tim & Lane. Overall, I still loved the book. I enjoy HEA!!!! Let's Start Over: A Secret Baby Office Romance is the third book in the Billionaire Secrets series and reunited me with characters we've met before. While easily a stand alone read I like reading connected stories in order so I can get the flow.
This is Lane and Archer's story and when they meet ten years before while vacationing in Mexico she calls him Joe for G.I. Joe since he's in the military. They don't exchange any important details of their lives since it's just a fling, or is it? The story takes place ten years later and they have secrets, regrets - maybe, and a whole lot currently going on in their lives. They never expected their paths to cross again but there is still heat and where there's heat can there be fire? And who will be burned?
The story has a good flow and was a quick read. I liked learning more about their lives and their interactions with their friends. There is closure with the epilogue and the happily ever after I always root for. The extended epilogue gives hints of what's to come in the next book and it's Bran's story. A character I've had a hard time liking in previous books.
Ms. Williams is an author who takes me out of my comfort zone but as long as the heat includes a story, I'm good. I look forward to reading more of her books.

This is the 2nd story in the Billionaire Secrets Series with a heartbreaking 2nd chance at love for Archer, a Navy Seal and Lane a beautiful young woman who just graduated from high school who meet while in Mexico on vacation. These two have one amazing week together and never exchange a way to find one another later on. During the week they both fall in love but neither admits and they reluctantly end their time together. Ten years later Lane has a great job supporting herself and her strong headed daughter, Emery on her own where not many know about her. One day Archer shows up in Lane’s life and it gets messy very quickly. Dane her boss is friends with Archer and he offers Lane help to get his business set up. While working together their heat from 10 years seems to pick up where it left off. Figuring out how to move forward causes some issues and when the secret of his daughter comes out all beats are off until Noel helps Archer see another side. When trouble comes to a client Lane offers help only to be put in a dangerous situation. What a beautiful love story that will have its ups and downs with a mix of danger, friendship, enemies, craziness, forgiveness and love! It's been ten years since Lane was on vacation in Mexico where she met and spent a romantic steamy week with a man she called GI Joe because that's what he reminded her of since he was military. They went their separate ways with their beautiful memories with her never knowing his real name and a gift of a pregnancy she discovered months later. Now ten years later her daughter is now nine and a spitfire. So when she runs into Joe real name Archer at a party at her bosses house she is shocked and hurries away. Archer an ex-marine Seal is in town to take over Saint Security in Los Angeles. He is nervous about taking over and goes to see his friend Dane also an ex-seal to get some pointers since he running his own successful business. When his friend offers to loan him his assistant to help get his office up and running he never expected it to be Lane. Their reunion was tense at first but their attraction was still clearly there. Will she tell him about his daughter or will he discover her secret? I enjoyed their story but at times I was aggravated with their actions. I received a free ARC through Booksprout an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
This is Lane and Archer's story. book 3 in this series.
Lane was a single mum of a 9-year-old girl Emery, she was the assistant to Dane.
When she graduated she went to Mexico with her girlfriends and met a Navy SEAL, she never got his real name she called him Joe after GI Joe, they had a wonderful week together but then she found out she was pregnant but not knowing his real name she had no way of contacting him.
10 years later, Archer was the new CEO of Saint Security, and he needed staff, he knew of just the person to ask, his best friend Dane. so Archer was invited to Dane's pool party, the last person he expected to see there was Lane. Dane offered for Archer to loan Lane for 6 months to help him get set up, but she was still hiding her secret. They both knew there was chemistry between them but could they act on it?
This is a brilliant book again and lovely to see the crossovers from all the other books, lots of twists and turns till you get to the HEA, although it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading all of the other books.
Let's Start Over: A Secret Baby Office Romance by Ajme Williams.
Pleasure incoming=> Hot Ex-SEAL, Baby-on-board, Curvy young secretary.
The chemistry between Archer and Lane was amazing..a second chance in love, the age gap between them is just 8 years!! I really enjoyed the book a lot ..thanks for the book.
Archer is Scared of love. Hot. Lone-wolf.
Lane is Hardworking. Beautiful. Young Mom.
All the characters revolving around the main characters were beautifully played and synced. Well written no mistakes were found, the author must have loved them both just like me. The speed is slow but enjoyable, it lets you live in each part of the story. Sex is around every corner and it's hot and heavy. Heart-warming and a great book. HEA guaranteed and surprise epilogues are waiting!! Grab your copy today and enjoy!!.

In this book we meet Lane Elliot & Archer Graves. When these two meet it is right after Lane has graduated and is looking to blow off a little steam. Little did she know the man she met during that vacation would send her off with a parting gift. Too bad she doesn't know his real name to tell him he is a father. What happens when he shows up 10 years later. Archer isn't into relationships. After losing his brother and then in their own way his parents he stears clear of that emotion. But there is one woman he can't forget even now 10 years later. What happens when he finds out he is a father though? Will he step up to the plate or leave a little girl again without a father?
Another great story from this author. It will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Let's Start Over. This book was amazing. It had some of everything a book lover would want to read. There was romance, drama, suspense, and some mystery. The characters connect with all the other characters in this series (which I love). Archer and Lane met ten years ago in Mexico and had a fling. They didn't think they would see each other again because Archer(Lane knew him as Joe "G.I. Joe) on knew Lane's first name and he was headed back to the military. Fate brought them back face to face. Archer is a friend of Dane, and he took a job that brought him back to Lane. But Archer always felt he was broken and could not risk losing another person in his life and tried to keep Lane at arm's length. Danger strikes again and this time it might destroy them both. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's
Archer and Lane shared an amazing and instant connection that resulted in a surprise pregnancy. Years later they are reacquainted and while the spark is still there, they each have reservations. Archer doesn't feel like he deserves happiness after what happened when he was a child and Lane is scared to admit the truth about her daughter. They have this almost magnetic pull towards each other but life constantly gets in the way. When life gets real, Archer needs to make a decision on what he wants for his future. I love how all the books in the series have characters that are intertwined. It's nice to be able to keep up with them and see how their stories have progressed beyond their own book. This was a really good read. It was enjoyable and well written. It was in depth and once I started, I didn't want to put it down.
When Lane was eighteen, she took a vacation to Mexico with some friends. While there she met a sexy stranger, she called G.I.Joe (Archer) for a nickname. They had an instant connection and started spending time together. Its not long before things heat up between them. Archer was a navy seal so he knew he would be leaving Lane soon. Now years later Archer runs into Lane when he is visiting a friend. Its not long before they are working together and sparks reignite between them. What will he do when he learns he has a child with Lane? Can they have a second chance to be together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book any book lover would enjoy.

Lane and Archer have some history together. They met while on holiday and Lane was left with a permanent memory of their week together, she got pregnant. Now 10 years later she finds out his real name is Archer and he's her new boss.
I loved how open Archer was, he wasn't nearly as closed off as I expected and he embraced rekindling their relationship and his role of being a father. I couldn't put this book down, I needed to see how everything played out. There's lots of steam and enough drama to keep it interesting. I didn't feel it fell victim to any typical tropes and felt original and fresh.
This may be book 3 in the series but like the rest, it is a stand-alone so you can just pick it up and go.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The blurb to this book was right up my alley but the story just didn't live up to the anticipation. This can be read as a standalone although there are obviously other books centering on the friends of the MC's. Lane and Archer meet while on an idyllic beach vacation. No, no, don't even tell me your name but I AM going to sleep with you for the entire vacation. Hmmm. Anyway, there are consequences of the parenthood kind. Fast Forward about ten years and through mutual acquaintances, the pair meet up again. Should she tell him? I was expecting a little more emotion over the whole thing. They instantly fall back together and the only conflict is informing Archer he's a parent. Oh! There was a secondary stalker of a client issue that really felt out of place and made Archer look slightly less competent than one would like. Meh for me. First book by this author.
This is the third book in this intriguing series, and this is Archer and Lane’s journey. These two met 10-years previously, while on vacation in Mexico. After spending a steamy night together, no names were exchanged, and now Lane is a single mom to her daughter. Lane finds out that Archer is her new boss, but how will he react when he finds out he is a daddy? This is a well written quick read, which has 2nd chances, emotions, action, secrets, friendships, intense chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy office romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When Lane graduated high school she and some friends went on a trip to Mexico whilst there she met Archer who was on leave from the navy. Both of them felt a deep connection but strangely never exchanged their contact information or even their full names. They go their separate ways with Archer never learning that he left her with more than just memories.
It was a total surprise for both of them when they met again after ten years. But Lane's determined to keep her distance but the pull they initially felt ten years ago is as strong as ever. When Archer learns that they share a daughter he has a lot to come to terms with.
Will they be able to work things out and enjoy a future together?
I really enjoyed this story a lot. It was well written, richly full of detail and really something that could happen in real life. while i was upset that the characters didn't just talk about their feelings with each other instead of assuming wrongly how the other felt, that is what happens in life because ppl are too afraid to just be honest. the supporting characters were great and the story had plenty of action, drama, excitement, emotional highs and lows to keep your interest thru out the book. i would highly recommend this book to someone looking for a true to life story with a beautiful ending.

Eighteen year old Lane had a great week in Mexico with the SEAL that she met. It was meant to be just one special week and Lane didn't even know his name. Then she found out she was pregnant with no way of finding the father. Ten years on Lane's boss asks her to help a old service buddy set up a new branch of a security firm. She was surprised to discover that her new boss was Archer, her daughter's father. But then Lane is warned that her boss would be better without any attachments, and she is left wondering if she should tell him.
I loved Lane's daughter Emery. Such a life wire.
I will be looking for more books in this series.

Enjoyable, well-written story 5* I have read several of Ajme’s novels but I feel that this one is her best one yet. Her characters are well described, her use of the English language and vocabulary is varied and scene-appropriate, and there are interesting tension points that form a smooth, naturally placed, integral part of the story. The protagonists, Lena and Archer get a second chance at happiness and now, more mature than 10 years ago when they first met, realise what natural chemistry they still have, not to mention a bright little girl from their last encounter, who wants nothing more than finally meeting her father. I am more than happy to recommend this well-written novel.

Lane and her Navy SEAL she calls Joe spend a wild week together in Mexico. Ten years later they meet again when Joe, who's name is Archer, becomes her temporary boss. While the attraction is still there, Lane has a secret - her daughter Emery. When Archer finds out he wants to have that loving family he dreamt about but he doesn't feel he is worthy. He has a secret from his childhood that he can't let go. Can these three become a family? Can Archer deal with his past. This book also has appearances of characters from other books - Dane, Bridget, Lucy and Ethan. While thuis us book three you don't need to read the first two books, but I recommend you'll like them.
Wow! This is a great story! Lane and Archer have serious chemistry despite their age difference as a 10 year “separation” with a secret baby. They were both on vacation and decided in no personal info, Lane never even knew Archer’s real name. So, when he comes into her workplace and is friends with her boss, her world is rocked! He has to work through his demons of his childhood. He immediately fell in love with his daughter and didn’t hold it against Lane that she couldn’t find hi, to tell him. They have some pretty good hurdles to get through to their HEA and their story is one of the best!.

I really enjoyed this romance. Lane meets Joe/Archer on vacation and has a wild fling with him. He then deploys and she finds out they have a surprise nine months later. Fast forward years later, and they have a chance meeting, and she ends up working for him. I thought Lane and Archer had such great chemistry together, and they are such likeable characters. I really feel for them as they try to navigate through the complexity of this relationship when Lane's secret threatens their happiness.

Ten years ago, Lane and Archer connected with each other on a beach in Mexico. He was on leave and she had just graduated high school. She nicknamed him (“Joe”), based on GI Joe. But they never officially exchange contact information.
Years later, they are stunned to see each other again. At least she knows his actual name is Archer. Will she tell him that he has a daughter? Or will she feel it is too late to integrate their lives after so long a time?
There is so much more going on here, so grab your copy and catch up with their story. Is there a HEA waiting for them? Or will Archer’s issues hold him back?
