I really, really wanted to like this book but it just didn't work for me. I couldn't get past some of the characters' decisions because they simply didn't fit or make sense. The dialogue seemed choppy and just odd in parts. The plot and ideas were good, which is why I continued to read.

I’ve loved all of Harper’s books and her delve into RH did not disappoint at all.
I loved everything about this book and the characters were all amazing.
This book has everything you want out of a read, spice, romance, action and suspense for sure.
I was totally hooked in and was gutted when it ended! I absolutely cannot wait for book 2 now.

This is the story of Piper who has struggled her whole life to fit in she has known she was a witch but didn’t know the extent of her powers. She has had a crush on Micah for years but her ex best friends got with him as soon as she admitted it and they fell out. Things pick up at Hannahs engagement party to Micah he runs into Piper and right away feels a connection. He tries to fight it as much as possible but that leaves Theo and Luka to be able to pursue Piper. So of course they do and it finally comes to a head when Hannah assaults Piper in a night club and Micah calls off their engagement . Then he overhears that she knew he was a wolf and was after Piper all along. Piper and the guys end up mating after she is stabbed and her house is caught on fire. Turns out the coven her mother was apart of is after her and wants to kill her. The book leaves off with the coven leader being killed and guess who her daughter was Hannah. Looks like the next book we will see the drama unfold between the girls and see how things end.

This book was incredible! We have wolf shifters and witches in an old war. I was totally mind blown when things from the past came back , it was a bittersweet moment . This book had plenty of snarky comments and loads of spice . I can t wait for the next book in this awesome series!

Piper has had a hard life. She’s had bad luck with friends. Then finds love maybe? She meets some wolves who start to warm her heart and open her mind lol. This story has some twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m hooked I cant wait to see what happens next

What a great start to a new series! Anyone who loves paranormal romance and wolf shifters, this is the book for you! I really enjoyed it. Piper the FMC is a bit different; she can hear others’ thoughts which makes it hard for her to lead a normal life. Instead, she prefers to isolate herself. Friendships haven’t gone well for her in the past so when her ex-best friend, Hannah’s, wedding trip comes up, she’s less than excited to go. It doesn’t help that Hannah is marrying the guy Piper has had a crush on forever. But she decides to go all the same. She hasn’t had a lot of good luck in her life, all she can hope for is to get through the night unscathed. Little does she know that Hannah has had it out for her for quite some time. Enter the three wolves. Originally, they were just supposed to watch her, but it doesn’t take long before a few of them are intrigued by Piper. With Hannah still out to get her will these guys help her or tear her down as Hannah demands? Talk about a rollercoaster ride. Piper’s life starts to spiral and she must decide if she can trust these guys. The story is well written, the characters exciting and the chemistry strong. The spice is steamy and wonderful. The descriptions are done in such a way that it’s easy to visualize what the author is trying to portray. If you’re looking for a good wolf shifter story look no further, this one is an easy choice. I can’t wait to see what’s next!!

This is a fantastic twist on normal shifter books. Ima be honest it was hard to get into at first. But stick with it it's worth it. Shat did an excellent job with this book I cannot wait for more. The heroine is amazing and easy to love. She is hurt and mad. And ready to face whatever comes her way.

Tainted by Wolves follows Piper and her wolves. It is an engrossing read that shows so much development even when it is only book 1. Piper really finds her self and her place. Piper does have alot happen in her story and it is only the beginning. I am so happy I picked up this book and can't wait for book 2.

Definitely one of those books that kept me up just to finish. Fantastic storyline!!! Loved reading about Piper. Wasn’t expecting that little bit towards the end. Won’t give away any spoilers so just need to read and find out. Really hoping that the next book comes out. Kind of ends on a cliffhanger. Kind of. Either way I loved loved this story!!! Definitely recommend!

I loved Harper Shay before with her walking Devine series but this was her first go at why choose romance and she knocked it out the ballpark. It had everything an amazing story with twist and turns. Hot AF men, and all the hot ess you could want. A must read

This book was a fantastic read, that I could not get enough of. It was very hard to put down once I started reading. It moves along at a pace which is perfect for the story. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you know them. This book needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it. It has to be read. Loved it.

This story is told in multi pov and I love that we get to see how each character thinks and feels about certain things. First is piper who was born from a witch mother and a supposed human father. She's had to overcome so much loss in her short 22 years. First her parents were taken from her and then her grams died from cancer and the only friend she ever had, had betrayed her and stole the man she wanted to make her own. Then we have Luka, Theo and Micha. The pack of shifters that were drawn back to their home by a girl that haunted their dreams. They never knew that that girl was piper and she was the girl who had lived next door to Micha. They finally met at Micha's and Hannah's engagement party. Piper hadn't wanted to go, but her friend Sara had made her come and thats when Micha first laid eyes on her. The moment they touched they both felt the sparks, but Micha was engaged and he needed to focus on marrying a mate to make his pack stronger. In turn each of the men began to fall for piper and she fell for them. Through twists and turns secrets were revealed and bonds were formed. The spicy scenes were fantastic and the story was quite interesting. It left off on a slight cliffhanger with a promise of upcoming war. Can't wait for the next book!

Damn, what a book. I was expecting a sweet story with three werewolf shifters but what I got went sooo far beyond my expectations! This book had a bit of everything- magic, suspense, action, romance, and spice! It captivated me from beginning to end.
Piper, Luka, Micah, and Theo are amazing together. It takes a lot for them to finally get together but when they do, it's beautiful. Piper's story is heartbreaking but she gets so much stronger by the end of the book.
I enjoyed this book so much. Hello, book hangover. Five stars!

Such an amazing novel! Talk about one heck of a roller coaster. Piper is one of those girls that has felt put down all her life, bad luck and all. Love is a bust. Friendships haven't gone too well. This book hooked me from the beginning. Pipers story really got to me. Piper grows up thinking all she has is her Grandma. Her parents were killed in a storm that swept them off the mountain. Piper is connected to nature, she can feel the trees, plants and the animals. She doesn’t know how powerful of a witch she is. Enter Micah, Luka and Theo her three wolves. She has idea how but she called them to come home. She has been dreaming of them and them of her. She is what will Mae them complete and help save Micah’s pack. There are those wish to harm her and she really has no idea why. Hannah was supposed to be her best friend but she betrayed her. The story goes on to where she learns Luka, Theo and Micah are her mates. More secrets are revealed and things aren’t as they seemed. Will they be up for the fight to come. Looking forward to the continuation of this story.

What a beginning to a new series. It is jammed packed with drama, action, suspense, and a bit of mystery. It is a stunning story that has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. I loved how strong the chemistry between Piper and Micah, Luka, and Theo is. Piper may not be strong in magical or physical ways at the start of the story but we do see some growth as the story progresses. The story is extremely well written and developed. We have vivid descriptions, emotions that are felt throughout the story, the drama that we feel like we are a part of, the betrayal and so many. The list goes on and on. All of these things are well portrayed throughout the story. This story is a fantastic read and it will not disappoint.

Great story!! There is a lot going on in this book, the action doesn’t stop! Piper is the main FMC and she is fantastic, really comes into her own and owns her power, especially after she meets up with Micah, Luka, and Theo. The spice level is high in this one, but so well written! Secrets are uncovered which leads to so many more questions! Can’t wait to read the next installment! Definitely recommend this one!!

Completely loved it! Reverse harem with a witch and some sexy wolf shifters? YEEESSS!!!! This story was amazing and sucked me in instantly! I definitely have a major thing for Luka, but love how they all perfectly complement each other. Harper Shay has created a wonderful world that I love getting lost in and I absolutely cannot wait for more!

Loved it!
I loved the storyline and I couldn't put it down! There was mystery, angst, and steam!! Piper, Micah, Luka and Theo were so hot together and I'm so glad we got each of their POVs. I thought this was a great start to this series!

This is a good paranormal book that includes wolf shifters and witches. Piper grew up in New Hampshire knowing she was a witch but trying to keep it hidden from her world. She was raised by her Gram after she lost both of her parents. She felt lost and alone and kept to herself most of her life, because she didn’t feel like she fit in. And she couldn’t help but notice when a cute new neighbor moved in next door. She would often catch glances of him. Life has a way of changing things up on the best of us and Piper is no different. After having to reluctantly attend an engagement party, a chance encounter snowballs into so many changes and mysteries in her life.
You don’t want to miss out on this book. I can’t wait to read the next one to see how things progress and if peace can be restored.

This kind of bums me out.
This book started out pretty intriguing, but by the third or fourth chapter I found my self skipping pages.
It so repetitive.
As soon as Piper would mention losing her parents, the dissolution of her friendship w/ Hannah, or losing her grandmother, I would just start skimming/skipping pages.
I also noticed that the characters would talk in circles. There would be pages and pages of exposition between dialogue and I'd be lost when a character would respond to another character because by the time I read through all of their inner dialogue, I forgot what they were even talking about.
Also, Micah.
This pack of wolves, to me, just come off as inadequate and kind of a goof troop.
But whatever.
This book, based on what I read, could potentially pick up and be great, but I just don't have the patience to keep reading the same things over and over and Micah is annoying.

Well this book just grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. It had a little bit of everything. Those group scenes were so 🔥.
Our fmc is timid and a bit of a wallflower. She's unable to connect with people. She has no family and only 1 friend to speak of. After being around a crush and meeting some of his friends let's just say things get pretty steamy. The story doesn't just focus on their relationship though. There's danger lurking around all of them because of people actively seeking to eliminate them.
Overall very entertaining read and it kept my attention all day. Definitely check this out if you want a good steamy story. I'm interested in finding out what's going to happen next because the book spans a few months and things seem settled but very much unresolved by the end.
