The hunt for nefarious Nazi spies in Los Angeles during World War II just took another paranormal turn, which means hardboiled detective Geno Richter is on the case and soon embroiled in wartime action, mystery, and suspense...
A Spirited Tale about a Frightful Plot to Control the Future! A stakeout at the Los Angeles Central Library ensnares Geno Richter in the roots of a deadly conspiracy stretching back to the dawn of civilization. Soon, the enemy's real motives emerge after they awaken an ancient spirit who's determined to fulfill harrowing prophecies.
As Geno combats this devious Nazi plan to harness supernatural forces, he gains the help of an intriguing new partner--former Marine Corps nurse, Anna Torres--but double-dealing associates complicate matters, and an evil entity lures Geno into what becomes a high-stakes and deeply personal war.
Sometimes outwitted and outgunned, he never surrenders, and when a few unexpected allies rise to the occasion, Geno gains a fighting chance to defeat his own demons, defy the Nazis, and protect humanity's future.

Started kind of slow... for the first page that is. I should be so lucky as to have all books start that way.
"Case of the Ghostly Seance" kept me interested all the way through. I finished it in to days.
This is the first stand-alone novel of the "Rickter's War" series. According to Amazon, this is book 3 of 3 but, I look forward to seeing more in the series and where it goes. I am going to have to go back and catch the two short stories that were written first.
Seance has a good story line, touches on some of the biases of the day and just tells a good story.
Set during WW II and chasing Nazis, it delves into the trope of Nazis and the supernatural. It has some interesting turns and twists and as I said at the top, kept me interested and looking forward to returning to the book when I had to put it down.
Geno Richter has a new mission with a new side kick in doing so. His mission, follow Dr Durak, an German sympathizer. His new assistant, Anne a female marine who has looks and brains. But both may have their hands full when they are attacked . Luckily they arte able to overcome their opponents but that may only the tip of the iceberg.I hope to be able to read what follows in this series.
Geno Richter is on a mission to find the Text Of Uhaimer that was stolen from the local library. This book is supposed to be the guide to eternal life. We have Nazi and ghosts and all kinds of supernatural things going on. It was a very strange but different kind of book for me. I enjoyed it and it was a fun read.
LA will never be the same as para normal sleuths battles demons and spirits of the highest horror helping the USA and its allies win the conventional war.
