I didn’t like this read. Literally 0 character chemistry, all events and scenarios were rushed and the two MMC’s suddenly claimed they “loved” each other after sharing one kiss…ONE kiss…makes no sense.

I’m a big fan of insta-love yes, but these MMC’s claiming they love and desire each other after one kiss is far too unrealistic and dramatic for me. I understand it’s a short story but I mean the least that could have been done was the addition of more details and possible character chemistry between them both. Otherwise, it’s just..unrealistic as I said.

I got excited to read a priest x guy romance but this story did not live up to my expectations

📚⇢ Este libro fue como una historia de Wattpad del 2015. El supuesto romance fue un instalove pues Luke (el Padre Stone), después de pasar lit como 5 minutos con Teddy, decide que lo desea como nunca lo ha hecho antes en todos sus años de vida, vamos que incluso Teddy con 31 años de edad nunca había dado ni su primer beso. La premisa sonaba muy interesante pero no se logra desarrollar debido a lo corto del libro y verdaderamente había cosas buenas como, por ejemplo, darle más desarrollo al pasado de Teddy con sus padres abusivos y homofobicos, o pudieron darnos el POV de Luke para poder entender su lucha interna contra su fe y creencias contra lo que sentía por Teddy.

A little too instalovey with too much telling and not enough showing, but not bad at all! The writing could be improved, and I hate the epilogue that suggested the hero and the love interest gentrifying, but I was satisfied by what was promised.

A decently told tale on a delicate subject, romantic feeling between a gay man and a Catholic priest. Nicely written, I thought, of a very contentious topic. The hatred Teddy suffered all his life from his super religious parents had done it's damage but also made him strive to do and be the best he can, he had it all under control, that is until the day he accidentally bit the finger of a catholic priest.
