A classic western novel from Frank Wheeler with non-stop epic adventure and a blend of western romance
She tried to stop the blood, but it only flowed faster. “Shannon, find Noble Scott. Tell him what’s happened. He needs to know that Creed Conway is alive.”
“Yes. I promise I’ll find him.”
Fourteen years ago, Creed Conway took everything from him. Today, Noble Scott will fight to stop him from doing it again.
Creed Conway had a reputation to uphold. Pain. Death. Destruction.
As long as he stuck to Indians, not many people cared. This close to Unorganized Territory, “relocation,” was common practice. The only difference was that when Creed relocated people, they ended up dead. And he didn’t always stick to Indians…
“Noble heard the gunshots even before he saw the farm. He knew what would happen if he didn’t act fast.
He and Shannon hopped the fence and passed two bodies.
His mother screamed, and he finally saw the farmhouse. Creed Conway was at the front door fighting his way in. Before Noble could get to him, the door broke open and Creed disappeared into the house.”
Noble’s mother wasn’t going to be another one of his victims. Can Noble and Shannon outmaneuver a criminal without becoming one themselves?
Each novel in the series is a standalone western which can be read out of order.
Once again, Mr. Wheeler weaves his descriptive of unending gunfighting adventures!
Definitely another five star masterpiece by one of my favorite authors, as he leads us along the deadly trails of justice seekers who definitely go above and beyond in their quest for peace! No slow downs throughout this exciting compilation of realistically old American folklore storytelling at its very best! Outstanding storylines successfully maintains your undivided attention immediately and never falters throughout this polarizing series of unending gunfighting adventures! These dedicated individuals pulls no punches in their quest for justice to those responsible for their ongoing misdeeds! Too, the superbly selections of characters were unsurpassed in their respective assignments, both good and bad guys, and gals, as they continuously fulfill their assignments from beginning to end! Definitely recommend this compassionately, and definitely heartwarming, series of compelling western folklore extravaganza to all, but you old dyed in the wool western folklore addicted fanatics, as I am, will certainly be appeased immediately and your undivided attention never wanes!!!😃
I liked the story, but it was very hard to keep reading Mr. Wheeler has never tried to shoot a gun or rifle while galloping on a horse. If a bullet strikes the rider or the horse, it's a near miracle. Consistently striking a rider in the back can't happen. Hitting a target at 100 yards with a .45 would also be considered miraculous.
Enjoyed this along with the twist and turns. It was the typical good versus evil but showed the fact that what a parent may be does not mean the children will be the same. This also dealt with the issue of hate towards the Indian people.
Plenty of gun fights and killing. killings are indians, outlaws, and some town folks. The gun fights baffle me because the shots seem to miraculously miss when they should not.
Bad men, Indians, new family so many parts of a great adventure. Wonderful rich characters. Desperate chase of a bad man who was destroying many peoples lives.
Nothing believable about scenes in this book hard to fall the battle scenes and I just don’t see how they play out the way they do it or described I would not recommend reading this book
