Hot Dog is a great story about a hot dog who wants to be a dog and like all the other dogs but soon finds that maybe it's trickier than it sounds as he runs into a problem.
The children loved this story and really enjoyed seeing all of the dogs and seeing hot dog live out his dreams. It was lovely to see how hot dogs attitude changed when he got to experience what he'd always wanted but also nice to have a realistic take showing that sometimes things aren't always as straightforward as we thought.
The children loved the pictures and they showed brilliantly how much fun the dogs and hot dog were having. It was also lovely how the pictures turned sweeter colours with the introduction of Flo to the story which the children loved and we hadn't expected. It was really nice to see how Flo impacted hot dogs life and was the kind friend we all need in difficult times.
The children were very excited when we first read the book as they love how there are dogs like their pets which made the book even more special for them. We loved reading this story and seeing how hot dogs life changed for the better with the help of an experience and some friends.

We really love this book! It’s silly, colourful, but heartwarming story is one we will happily read time and time again! Our daughters favourite character is the mustard fairy who makes a hot dogs dream come true! Every page is bursting with bright and colourful illustrations which create wonderful conversation - which for us is one of the most important parts of reading with our daughter. It’s a happy, light hearted read and a firm favourite in our house!

I loved this book
The book was well laid out, it was nice and had some lovely illustrations
It was well written, the story was easy to follow and it had a wonderful flow to the story
I read the book with my five-year-old daughter and she absolutely loved it
It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

Completely whacked story… about a hot dog who’s brought to life by a mustard fairy and then saved by an icecream lady… that all said both Mr 7

This is a cute story about a hot dog that wants to be a real dog, his wish comes true and he tries his best to fit in with the other dogs. It is really funny and I think younger kids will especially love this book.
