Wayne Zelinski is declared dead when his car goes off a cliff and burns up. Billy Jensen is the homicide detective assigned the case. His wife died 3 years ago leaving him with a teenage daughter. Billy has left his daughter with his mother while he threw himself into work to deal with his grief. He tells Shari that Wayne is dead and is shocked by her lack of reaction. She and Wayne have been married for 2 years and she has been helping him with the business.

Did Shari have anything to do with Wayne’s death? If it is foul play, who else could be a suspect?

I knew things were getting exciting. Oh my yes indeed! Shari is holding their business down during Wayne's disappearance. Billy a sexy Detective shows up telling her that Wayne is possibly dead. Now he is following her getting information because he suspects her. And now Billy is warring within himself over duty and his desires for Shari.
This story is steamy, exciting, fast paced, full of questions, mystery and danger.
I love it. I'm so ready to dive into the next book.
