She also published a mystery anthology entitled Mysterious Tales of the Unexplained which was a finalist in the Best Book Awards in the fiction anthology category. She grew up in a small town in Ohio and has worked as a mental health clinical counselor for the past 29 years. The art of writing truly engaging and entertaining short stories is a rare commodity of which Patricia Miller has in abundance. In her book Mysterious Tales of the Unexplained: Volume 2 the reader will be treated to a selection of original stories each beautifully crafted to satisfy most tastes. There’s mystery, intrigue, and suspense, presented in bite size formats perfect for those dark winter evenings as they draw in. So pop the kettle on and get yourself comfy, you’re in for a treat.

Good Stories!
I had not read this author previously, and the book sounded interesting, so I took a chance. The stories were interesting and well-written, and held my attention. I appreciated how the author wove suspense into each story, while bringing each one to a satisfying conclusion. Nicely done.

Here you have four short stories starring everyday people in everyday settings but the outstanding feature of these tales is their spooky, even supernatural, events, like the unexplained noises in the office in the "Scary Mary" story.
You'll keep reading, wondering what will happen next, like what the underground excavations will reveal in "The Spiral Staircase" story, before arriving to a final conclusion, and then moving onto the next tale. The characters involved are quite easy going, it's the mystery that you will intrigue you. A pleasant and fun read all round.

A Great Collection Of Short Mysterious Tales
This is an anthology of 4 short tales of a mysterious nature. From a mum and her young daughter who has strange dreams of climbing a tower that she can reach the end off and they discover the history of their house and some strange tunnels underneath it. To four young men who visit a big mansion to find it’s one big escape room that they have find clues to escape from. These are some great stories and I can’t wait to read more.

Read this author for the first time and was not let down. The tales are captivating. I enjoyed the story lines and they are easy enough to follow. I would be keeping an eye out for more works from Patricia Miller. I'll confess I did judge the book by its cover at first and the book title got my attention and curiosity. In the end, I enjoyed the book as well.
So, in the end, if you are in to these kind of books, no need to skip this one.

To four young men who visit a big mansion to find it’s one big escape room that they have find clues to escape from. These are some great stories and I can’t wait to read more.

Nice Stories
These are some nice stories. There's a little creepy touch, but I wouldn't call them scary. Some of the sentences in this book were kind of choppy. It wasn't anything that was too bad. My favorite tale was "A Puzzling Mystery" that had residents in a retirement home trying to solve a murder. This work is geared towards middle grade kids and I think it really works for that audience. I recommend anyone to read this.
