I devoured this book this weekend. I bought it because I was interested in understanding more about the divine feminine.
What I took away from it was more of an understanding of "patriarchy" and how some of the systems we have to live within aren't necessarily designed for feminine energy to flourish.
I enjoyed the book, I found it quite accessible and easy to read and so recommend if anyone is into reading more about this topic.
My only criticism is there is a big focus on menstruation cycles. It would be good if the author explored how people that don't menstruate explore their feminine energy (e.g. menopausal women, trans women, men)
A lot of things I already knew through researching for my practice over the years BUT when I got to the stuff about our cycle I definitely learned some stuff. Overall I think this is a great book for women who want to start tracking their cycle and a good one to add to your collection of witchy books. But with all research topics, make sure you have lots of different sources and information bc with many of these kinds of books the people writing them include a lot of their own perspectives! Take a what works for you.
