When Catalina Hernandez, a lady friend from Ethan's past, requests his help with a case in her new position as a JAG, his interest is piqued. There's been a seemingly straightforward murder on a ship at Naval Station Mayport, but there's something awry, something that needs Ethan Marston's top-notch skills to uncover.
And what they find is something far more insidious than they originally expects. Not only is the accused innocent, but the murder itself is just the precursor to a far greater set of crimes against the United States. It's up to Ethan to cut to the heart of this mystery before it's too late not just for him, but for the entire country!
Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.
The Marston/Holm thrillers are a great & fun - MUST- read. All plots and story lines are UNIGUE, yet interconnected. Lincoln skillfully introduced new characters & continuously moves & weaves his characters in & out of the different scenarios/stories with adroit plumbness. Each & all to cliff hanger story ending. Leaving the Navy boys & girl hanging & eager with anticipation for more facts more stories about Ethan's MBLISS experiences & his singular hunt for the Rogue with help from Holm, Tesss, Ava, Dr. Slade & assorted other intertwined characters. If your a fun of nautical history & enjoy a good story in a well crafted read - pick up a Matt Lincoln 'Coastal Fury' Series story book. However, be forewarned reading this series might reset your sleep cycle. Each story is hard to put down.Read on & ENJOY the story experiences. C. Brackney
I have just completed the 27th of 27 in this incredible series by Matt Lincoln. Every book in the series, I found exciting and full of intrigue. Once started, I had a hard time putting it down until the end. Lincoln is the epitome of a great story teller. Like the young sailors in his stories, I will be waiting with bated breath for number 28!
The only problem with the coastal fury books is that I can't put them down. I get so caught up in the story I stay up late and then feel sad I finished the book. Seriously I highly recommended these books. The plot is unique and you feel like you are friends with the characters.
I like all of these books it's a fun series to follow Max Lincoln really knows how to keep his readers excited and want more of his books. Thanks Max, please keep more of this series coming.
I couldn't put this down, read it in one sitting because I had to know what happened next. This series gets better with each book. Can hardly wait for the next installment of Marston and Holm!
This storyline goes outside the the duty of an good agents doing their jobs. This goes to a higher calling of people that love and are willing to die for God and country. Great action and drama. As always an excellent read.
Dropped my rating, the editing is just ruining the stories for me. It is not just pronouns but changes in place and missing obvious issues with the story line in a few paragraphs that is really disappointing.
I'm so worn out after finishing his book! No human body can suffer as much damage as Marston and Holmes and still work, just NO WAY! I kept thinking of the TV show "The Last Ship" all the time I was reading this book. You will enjoy it, trust me.
This one especially super it kept you hanging to the very very end. But please Start with Matt's otherwise you'll be losing a lot of back round as there are always references to previous books
