Mark is a new professor at a private college where some of their rules are different than from public schools. The students are accusing him of harassment even though they don't have proof. Although Lillian is retired, she is using her professor title to her advantage in working with Mark. Because of this accusation against Mark, Lillian's granddaughter (Mark's girlfriend) Sandra kicked him out from their living arrangements from her condo. Again, without proof of these allegations.
Fortunately he has Lillian who believes him and goes to sleuthing to prove his innocence.
This is what I call a laying in the sun book. (I don't lay in the sun anymore!) It is the kind of book I used to read when I was laying in the sun. Just something to occupy my time. I did enjoy the main Character and it reminded me of an Aunt Julia mystery. Fun & fast to read, but doesn't stick to you very long.
An easy and fast read, it was a bit predictable at times. There was also a storyline that they referenced but never fully explained. And when I found a "that" should have been a "than," I almost had to put it down.
