Observational study of a Los Angeles beach done from 1974-1976.
Interesting survey of behavoirs exhibited at a public beach including reactions to exhibitionism and brawling.
Interesting how people create a "safe zone" around themselves and for the most part it works to keep away unwanted social contact.
