Chloe is a lifeguard and Rhett is the new person in charge. When they first meet the attraction is obvious. Chloe doesn’t want to act on it because she’s his employee… but Rhett slowly convinces her.

“Promise?” My breath hitched, as pleasure blossomed through me.
Rhett arched into me, growling in my ear. “I fucking guarantee it.”
This was a super cute novella with lots of cute moments and steam! Five stars!

*spoilers* Chloe works as a lifeguard in a country club in the summer and studies marine biology. She struggles paying her way and for her mother who needs medical attention in more and lives in Hill View Homes. She is a little sassy but knows how to handle all the men who try to get with her. Then she meets the nre owner Rhett Sutton. He is a little jaded and likes that Chloe is not being extra nice to him, but speaks bluntly. He is developing deep feelings for the sassy young woman. Valueing her opinion and work ethics. When he touches her for the first time, he learns that he is her first, getting even more possessive and going into caveman mode in his head. Chloe does not want the others know about her involvement with Rhett, who is used to woman wanting to use him. The one woman who he would let use him, does not want it. Will she be scared and push him away or follow her heart? She is afraid that their worlds do not match and she will be just a whirlwind romance for Rhett. She hears gossip about him and his almost fiancé, which somehow makes her more unsure of herself. But Rhett is determined to show Chloe she is his and becoming a better man for her.
I am a fan of Gia Bailey’s stories. She knows to write a captivating story who has everything I look for in this genre and length of stories. The characters are strong and pull me into the story. Some of the short tomance stories are somehow shallow, I can not explain it right, but they do not touch me as deeply. But not Gia Bailey. She makes me laugh, cry and root for the heroes and heroines. Rhett and Chloe are no difference. Rhett is a strong alpha man, who is going after his woman, but he would never use her or disgrace her. Chloe is not playing him for the money. They have the real deal, also the path there is not the most easy one. I loved that Rhett did not play around and told Chloe upfront about his feelings for her and all the things he does to become a better man for her and really revaluates his life priorities, melted my heart for him. He does not just say sweet words, but takes action and not only to benefit Chloe, but he really cares about others and how life treated him. Chloe always had to be the strong one and caretaker, now she has a man who would try to move the world for her, but she also takes care of him.

It's probably a good idea that country clubs don't tend to have HR departments because, boy howdy, they'd be busy. The rich, white man once again blatantly ignores every formality and understood moral institution to get some fucking pussy.

I couldn’t get enough of Chloe and Rhett together!! Chloe was a fantastic character with tons of sass even working as a lifeguard at a club for the elite. When the new owner shows up she doesn’t hold back with him either. She’s everything Rhett didn’t know he wanted in his life. He’s instantly drawn to her and wants to know everything he can about her. She’s worried he just wants a summer fling which is common at the country club. He wants her sass with him forever.
I adored the development of this relationship. Chloe is extremely funny and sassy, an introvert living an extrovert’s life. Rhett is a billionaire missing out on the important things in life. I also liked the drama brought in with an ex that can’t take a hint. Usually I don’t enjoy ex drama but this book was pretty funny. His ex really thinks the world of herself so it’s enjoyable to watch her get knocked down a few pegs. I also really loved the ways in which Rhett shows Chloe that he’s all in. This obsession romance is extremely sweet as well as steamy so it brings all the feels.

Rhett buys the club, and everyone worries about if they will still have a job. When he meets Chloe Sparks fly between them. He knows as soon as he saw her that she would be his. He starts making his move on her immediately and making sure others keep their hands off. Will Chloe give him a chance? Can they find a way to be together?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I love the His Obsession series. This time we have lifeguard Chloe who works hard to take care of her ill mother. Rhett is your typical billionaire, cocky and oh so confident. He want Chloe, for now and forever. But Chloe sees the reality of a girl from the wrong side of town and a billionaire, and Rhett has his work cut out for him. Throw in a not ex-fiancé, a creepy doctor and scrutiny from coworkers and you have quite the story. I loved the storyline and the characters. It was a woof length, not to long. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

I loved this story about Rhett and Chloe. Rhett has taken over the country club and is the new owner. He sees Chloe out by the pool as she's a summer part time lifeguard at the club. She pulls no punches when talking to him and he absolutely loved it. He likes what he see and plans on staking his claim. Chloe is attracted to him and has a sassy mouth and great comebacks to Rhett. I loved their relationship and the chemistry that they had but they also had fun together. I love all the stories in this series it's hard to pick just one.

This was a really good book. I really liked Chloe and Rhett together with their great connection and chemistry. Rhett is immediately knew that as soon as as he saw Chloe and got a taste of her sassiness, she was meant to be his. These two are fantastic together and I loved how BA Chloe is and how she stands her ground until her heart just can't take it anymore. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Chloe is a lifeguard at Rhett's newest acquisition a country club and from the moment Rhett sees Chloe he instantly knows she was his. Now he just has to convince her. I loved these two together and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. His Lifeguard Obsession is book seven in the His Obsession series. Billionaire age gap romance that delivered on the spice, though I would have liked to see the chemistry/connection between the H and h. Overall I enjoyed the read.
