Gia Bailey loves to write steamy, sweet, short romances to keep her warm during the cold Scottish nights. All her heroes, from mountain men to billionaires, are possessive, obsessive alpha males, who go OTT for the women they fall for. And the heroines? Shy, sweet, smart, ambitious, and everything in between, these ladies always get their happy endings.

When not writing, she lives with her own burly Russian mountain man and all-knowing four year old, and enjoys baking, reading, jumping in muddle puddles (it’s Scotland, so there are lots), and inventing elaborate dreamworlds to play in. After all, life’s too short for anything other than a HEA.

Steamy Romance - High Heat - High Emotion - No cheating - No cliffhangers - HEA guaranteed

"He was a devil through and through, but he was mine. He had locked me up but given me the keys to his kingdom, and I was free for the first time in my life."

Gia Bailey has a way of writing short novels that keep you so entertained! I loved Suna and Vincenzo together. This has an arranged marriage trope, but the author put a spin on it- Suna stabbed the man she was supposed to marry four years ago. Will Vincenzo suffer the same fate?

This book was short, sweet, and super sexy. I enjoyed it. A lot was packed into the pages! This is a very safe read with a virgin heroine, a mafia hero who falls first, and lots of steam to keep you wanting more.

"I’d never leave this man, and he’d never let me."

No bc why was this really good 😭⁉️
-=- 3.5 stars -=-

I'm definitely going to be checking out more novellas by this author (if you know me, you know I'm going to go on a novella binge 💀), bc this was actually really solid.

I really liked the Korean and Italian mafia vibes, and the way that the MC's relationship progressed. I feel like this book really would've hit differently if it was longer, but it was still good nonetheless.

Onto the next one 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️.

MCs:
- Vincenzo, 35
- Suna, 23

Book info:
- Arranged marriage
- Novella
- Age gap
- Mafia-ish romace
- Virgin FMC, no info on MMC
- HEA

Enzo and Suna only met in person a week before their wedding. Suna doesn't want to get married and Enzo is only doing this for power and connection. But when he saw her jumping from a balcony wanting to escape, he got interested in her immediately and for some reason he wants to get this wedding come sooner.

Two days before their wedding, Suna tried to escape again 😂 But she didn't know that after her first attempt, Enzo put a security team to monitor her since then. To say she was shocked to see Enzo waiting for her was an understatement. 😅

After Enzo caught her, he brought Suna back to his house so that she wouldn't be able to escape again. He then married her that same day 😂

This isn't something I haven't read before, but I do still enjoy these stories and reading how the MMCs are OTT with the FMC. Also, this is a quick read to pass some time.

I removed 1 star because it's a shame it was this rushed, they had so much potential, i truly liked them
I HAD to remove another star because instead of calling her tesoro (treasure) the author wrote it wrong..calling her TESORA and i was really annoyed by it xD.

Suna and Vincenzo are arranged to get married. They both are in mafia families. Vincenzo is older than Suna. Suna has a reputation of a “black widow” because her last husband died the day before her wedding to him. This was a good book lots of steam and it was super fast paced! I really did enjoy it !

Vincenzo is the heir of the Luciano mafia family and has to marry the oldest daughter of a rival family. Suna Song is the oldest daughter and has to bite the bullet😉 Rumors fly she killed her first fiance and now she tries to escape the second engagement. But Vincenzo has other ideas. As soon as he sees Suna in person his whole agenda changes. He sees his bride to be and is instantly smitten. Instalove, age gap, mafia themed, romantic, steamy, fun to read and safe with a sweet HEA😍😍😍😍 and action too. Can't wait for Antonio to get his woman and how he will have to work for it 🤣

Everything you would want in a mafia arranged marriage is in this book. A possessive older mafia leader. A younger rival mafia princess. An instantly steamy connection. A danger that threatens her life. An ending that brings everything together in a way that perfectly fits the characters.

Vincenzo and Suna are arranged to be married to better both of their mafia families. He will do anything for his family. She wants nothing to do with being caged and locked away in the mafia. One look at her as she tries to run away and he knows she’s a bird he wants to cage and keep forever. Things get really steamy after he catches her and refuses to let her go before the wedding. Suna is confused by her feelings and struggles with accepting her fate. Then danger comes knocking and her life will be forever changed. Fantastic mafia romance with tons of steam and characters you are going to love!

This is a great mafia short story that you’ll want to read in one sitting. There are 5 mafia families that run NY and in this one we have Vincenzo whose father arranges a marriage contract for Suna and she’s not thrilled to give up any freedom she currently has. Vincenzo meets Suna as she’s escaping their engagement party and they have a private conversation where he is taken with her beauty and ability to make him laugh. With a questionable past Suna is not looking forward to marrying and Vincenzo shows her how much he cares for her and what it’ll be like sexually between them. Their attraction is very genuine and one to be cherished. I love how Suna keeps Vincenzo on his toes and how they deal with her past. Gia Bailey is quickly becoming my favorite mafia novella author. Reading her books you forget it's a novella and I fucking love it.

I love the uniqueness of this mafia series as it includes the Korean Mafia Syndicate. There aren't a whole lot of other mafia groups written about outside of Italian, Russian, and sometimes Irish.

I loved the FMC's strength but also knew when to quit while she was ahead. Sometimes I feel authors confuse "strength" with blatant brattiness and zero common sense that comes off as immature.

The MMC was commendable with his admiration of a strong-willed woman. During everything, besides essentially kidnapping her to keep her safe from ultimately herself, he never wanted her to change nor tame her. Just simply to let him in.

*spoilers* Gia Bailey is an author I read every time possible. This book was no difference. It started a bit depressing with an arranged marriage between two powerful families. Vincenzo and Suna both do not want to marry each other. Suna even killed the first husband she was supposed to marry. But when they meet each other the parameters change...
This story was captivating and the characters, like always, were well developed. It was hard to put down and has everything in it, besides being a shorter story, suspense, romance and steam. I loved the interaction between Vincenzo and Suna.

Fast, quick story with a great storyline and fantastic characters. Vincenzo has been promised Suna has his bride. Most mafia marriages are arranged. Neither party is happy with the arrangement until Vincenzo meets Suna. Now he only wants her. She still wants her freedom but Vincenzo makes her feel things she's never felt before. Will she go through with the wedding or will she make a break for freedom again? Some drama, some conflict, but plenty of protective domination and steam. Loved the story and looking forward to the next book in this series.

“everything. I want you heart and body. I want you to live happily in my cage and enjoy your clipped wings that return you to me every night. I want you to learn to live within the radius of my control, so I can breathe without worrying that someone has hurt you. I want your trust, your love, and endless devotion. That’s all.”

gagaga-*dies* THEY HAD SUCH A BANG ON CHEMISTRY BUT AUTHOR FORGOT TO GIVE MMC THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT 😭 it's a novella and I accept it but a little wouldn't have hurt anyone. idk I still kinda feel neutral with this but I seriously loved loved the part before marriage 😭✨

A dark and twisted attraction
I loved the character of Suna as soon as she expounds her memory in the first chapter. She is a dark heroine who does not want to be a victim, and her future husband, Vincenzo, who is imposed on her, lives up to her brashness.
It's an excellent romance, with morally not very beautiful heroes, but who go so well together by their twisted attraction, and whose author has been able to convey an impression of romance between them, a little in spite of themselves.

Wow! I devoured this page turner.
Vincenzo and Suna's story drew me in within a matter of pages. It's a well written page turner with a compelling storyline and strong likeable characters. There's action, danger, drama, suspense, emotions, intense chemistry, steamy sexy scenes, romance and love that will keep you engrossed until the end.

This is the first book of what promises to be a thrilling series.
Highly recommended.

His new fiance is know to have killed her previous intended the night before the wedding. 😉😈🤣

I wasn't sure I would like this. Suna really didn't want to get married and forced Mafia romances can be good but this one started a little shaky for me. She just seemed so sad and that bothered me. But once she got to know Enzo, and he got to know her, the story got better and this turned out to be a good story. Great plot and chemistry and the ending was terrific.

This was a fantastic book. I loved the connection, undeniable chemistry, pull and tension between Vincenzo and Suna. Suna just wanted to be free but she's afraid that she will be even more trapped when she is forced to marry Vincenzo. Vincenzo never wanted to marry but once he meets his feisty bride, he won't let her go. I can't wait for the next book, and the rest of this very promising series.

Rumor flow around that Suna stabbed the her first fiancé on the eve of her wedding night. A few years later her father arranges another marriage with Vincenzo Luciano, from a rival family. Vincenzo has known it would be his duty to marry. What he does not count on is his bride to be, she is his perfect match.

She looks like she is going to escape, how far is VIncenzo willing to go?.

Vincenzo is heir to the family empire and must marry Suna. Suna has a reputation as the black widow, after her last fiancée. Vincenzo won't fear his new bride to be, as sparks fly could these two be the perfect match? Or will someone try to stop them? Well written steamy short arranged mafia romance.

This is a quick story. Great if you want to squeeze a little reading in a short amount of time. I enjoyed it and plan to read the story about Rafe which is part of another series.

Vincenzo and Suna have an arranged mafia marriage. Neither is looking forward to it. That is until Vincenzo actually meets and interacts with Suna. After that, no other will do for him.

Suna's past makes her very leery of marriage and while attracted to Vincenzo, she still would rather not marry him. Luckily she warms to the idea.
