I feel mean giving this a three... I want to give it a four but something in me won't let me. I did enjoy the book - loved the main character. Pretty early on guessed at what I think was meant to be the big plot reveal... but still enjoyed the book. Makes me look forward to being old enough to join the red hats! ;)
Delightful book about a few widows that get together and console one another. As time progresses they are ready to move forward w/their lives and love again. Incredible stories of the support women give each other, especially when going through tough times. They all lean on G-d and go to church and want His direction for their lives.
There is also an interesting mystery about a neighbor the women don't really care for, but what an explosive time she is going through!
If you enjoy stories about life, the ups and downs of women and friendship, which I love, this is a great book.
