I thought I was finally free to love the man of my dreams. To bear his children, and be his mate. Then the true enemy revealed himself, turning my fantasies to nightmares. Threatening the man I love, the future I long for, and the people my blood was born to protect. I chose this bond. I chose this life. And I will do whatever it takes to defend it. Even if it costs me my life.
Riley is one of those early-morning people you love to hate, because she swears she doesn't need caffeine, even though the coffee-maker is connected to her smartphone. She lives in a three-story townhouse by the good graces of a tabby-cat who rules the house, the couch, the table, well, basically everywhere. When she's not groveling for forgiveness for neglecting to pet her kitty enough, Riley is strapped in to her writing chair coming up with crazy worlds where she can make her own decisions of when feeding time is and how much coffee can be drank without her friends--of which she has three--holding yet another intervention that they threaten to post on the internet.
Just as Kaycee, her new mate, and the pack she is hoping will accept her start to relax and move on with their lives she realizes that it isn't over. The being behind the attacks on the wolf shifters reveals himself to Kaycee, and she realizes that her heritage, her need to protect her species and the entire world could very well cost her everything. This is an action packed, exciting read with violent and bloody battles, magic, paranormal beings of many varieties, and plenty of unexpected twists in the plot kept me engrossed in these pages until the very, happily ever after, end. I absolutely adored all of these wonderfully well written and unique characters. Their interactions are entertaining, sometimes amusing, and always riveting. I highly recommend this book and series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Kaycee and Jonathan are newly soulbound but are in a race against time to figure out how to defeat the Lord of Chaos and save not only the shifter world but earth as well. This final book in this series is packed full of action, suspense, danger and magic and magical beings along with twists, turns and completely amazing HEA. I simply could not put it down and Riley Storm has outdone herself with this series. Her books just keep getting better and better !! I'm looking forward to her next adventure. I read an Advanced copy and am Voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Told from Kaces POV, this is the final book of the trilogy. Kacey is a tough girl who doesnt need rescuing, shes up their with all the heroes. Shes cocky and bossy, gets the job done. Its a very good storyline with good character development. However I found the main characters really annoying. I didnt feel any chemistry between them and there was no emotion in the writing. I just found the writing and characters to be too stotic and Kacey literally got on my last nerve. I just wanted to see how the story ended. A HEA but with holes left in the story. Overall I recommend the trilogy.
Johnathan is soulbound to Kaycee. Together with gods and vampires, Kaycee and Johnathan are trying to save Earth. Anandriel is intent on killing them all and taking over Earth. The Lord of Chaos. They need to get to the library for information to try and stop the attacks. They know who it is but not how to stop him. So many deaths. A humungous battle. Seriously injured. The Shard. A portal. An old mate. Success finally. OMG what an absolutely brilliant story to finish up this terrific series.
Wonderful paranormal shifter story. There’s lots of magic, action, mystery, intrigue, suspense and romance. Lots of chaos. It’s the last book in this series. The characters of Jonathan, pack alpha and Kaycee who happens to be the last Lycan alive. They work well together but so don’t the other characters that have been in several books. The story is entertaining and interesting. I received a complimentary copy of the book and chose to write this review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms Storm.
I have so enjoyed the Shattered Wolf series and this third and final one rounded the series off so well. There’s lots of action, intrigue, suspense, mystery, and magic, as well as romance all woven together in a way that makes for compulsive reading, I didn't want to put the book down.
Jonathan and Kaycee, as well as all the other characters, are all well-drawn and the storyline is interesting and well written.
I really enjoyed this series. The reason I gave it 4 stars though is because of this particular last book. Kaycee honestly got on my nerves in this book. I almost didn't finish it because she was so annoying. For some reason in this book she was just bratty, feeling sorry for herself and dumb. After everything she went through it made no since to make her so stupid and whiny in this book.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Bond of Fate by Riley Storm. This final book in the Shattered Wolf trilogy was an amazing tie up to the series. I absolutely loved the ending though I always want more. I really enjoyed the progression of Johnathan and Kaycee's story. The action was non-stop! A great way to bring the story full circle. This series should be read in order written.

The author has pulled us further into the lives of Kaycee and Jonathan as they try to keep everyone safe. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, danger, action and magic. This book is part of a series, and I would suggest that the books be read in order.

Loved Kaycee's story and the finale was good. Don't want to spoil it but the ending was great and redemptive for someone. I would like a book to catch up with characters such as the vampire queen and her bestie.
Riley Storm"s shifter series are always filled with so much action, twists and fantastic characters. I can never seem to get enough this is the last book of the series with Jonathan and Kaycee battling the Lord of Chaos. Thrilling 📚 read to the end.
