An anxious traveler . . . Tamara’s quite happy sitting at home with her dog and making custom embroidery to sell on Etsy, but when she wins tickets to an intergalactic singles cruise, her sisters bully her into going. The next thing she knows, she’s acting stupid over a shuttle pilot with brilliant blue skin and a smile that could melt the clothes right off her body…
A hotshot pilot . . . Tazhio is all about flying -- the more thrilling, the better. He doesn’t plan to be a mere shuttle pilot forever, though, and the last thing he wants is to get bogged down with a mate. Yet he can’t take his mind off the breathtaking human with the annoying quadruped. He even convinces her to come on one of his day tours to show off his aerial moves.
But when a freak accident strands them on a hostile alien planet where the locals seem hell-bent on rutting anything female, they must join forces to stay alive and search for survivors. And little do they know that more than their lives are at stake. They’re about to lose their hearts…

I believe this is the funniest Tamsin book so far! I laughed so many times I lost count!
Tazhio is book 4 in the Kirenai Fated Mates series and Mrs. Ley's 1st in the Intergalactic Dating Agency series. The Intergalactic Dating Agency series is mutli-author and each author's works stand alone. This book can be read independent of the first three books in the series, but this and the following two should be read together as they tell a continuous story (the romance has a satisfying end, but there is an overarching story line).
The book is written in first person perspective, and though that is not my favorite writing method, Mrs. Ley does the format justice. Many first person narratives are jerky and confusing; this was smooth and flowed well.
Tamara is such an interesting character in that she has high anxiety (she even has a service dog!) and this is a high stress situation. Her development was extremely enjoyable to read. Tazhio, for his part, is a pilot who was not looking for love, and even when it smacked him in the face he tried to sidestep it to keep his job. In the end, he couldn't help but fall for Tamara and proved to be a more than capable mate. They made a very sweet couple.
This is a shape-shifting alien sci-fi romance that takes place on a primitive alien planet that's full of danger, steamy romance, unlikely lovers finding strength in one another, survival, and sisterly love/antics. If that sounds like your bag, this is a definite must!
Not bad for starting in the middle of the series. I kind of get the idea that these blue guys are kind of a shape shifting amoeba? Maybe. Maybe I should read the books before it so I get a better idea what's going on. Other wise its a decent story.
Tamara hated to travel, but her 3 sisters guilted her into going on a space cruise so they could all be together. So she reluctantly agrees, but she’s already terrified even before she gets to the spaceport. She meets her shuttle pilot Tazhio & is attracted to him, but knows she has no chance with him. She plans to stay in her room & embroider for the entire trip.
To her surprise, Tazhio invites her on a shuttle trip he’s piloting so she decides to give it a try. Then ….. oops, sorry I can’t reveal what happens, but it’s a doozy! Tamara has some wild & crazy interactions with aliens, oh & Tazhio is involved, ahem, VERY involved. Do not miss this crazy story! It doesn’t end with this book but is a continuing story in subsequent books. Maybe we’ll find out what happens to her sisters…..
I received a free copy of this book via the author & am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Tazhio and Tamara’s story. It was filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love. The story included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline. Tamara is a human woman who has anxiety and travels with a support dog. She agrees to go on a space cruise at the insistence of her three sisters. Tazhio is one of the alien pilots of the cruise and knows as soon as he meets Tamara that she’s his mate but crew are forbidden from having romantic relationships with the passengers. But all that changes when an excursion shuttle crashes on a hostile planet. Their mating becomes a necessity but not a hardship. The story included sweet moments, steamy scenes, quirky characters, supportive family and friends, light danger, good world building, and love. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
This was another fun addition to the Kirenai Fated Mate series. Tamara was totally not suited to travel but got pressured by her sisters to join them on a vacay space trip. Gravol and emotional support dog in tow, she tried to make the most of it. Tazhio, a pilot, wasn't eligible to apply for a mate but met Tamara right before the beginning of the cruise and the sparks sure flew ;) A singing planet excursion and crash later, we get the true metal of both of these interesting characters. So much happened to them - things that had my eyebrows climbing into my hairline and also made me giggle. What followed was highly entertaining and very steamy for these two and I can't wait for the next book to see how this over arching plot continues to unfold. Good fun!
I loved this story about Tazhio and Tamara Bloom. This cute romantic story about Tamara who is afraid of traveling goes on a space cruise ship with her support dog, Beanie a chihuahua because her sisters guilt her to join them. On the tarmac she meets Tazhio who notices her and guides her to the shuttle. On the shuttle she realizes that he's the pilot. Tazhio finds himself drawn to Tamara so when his friend Kiozhi takes him to a party, he looks for Tamara. Since he's part of the crew it's prohibit. What occurs afterwards is an engaging story with likable characters, steamy romance and action and drama that kept me turning the pages. This story is an enjoyable copy that I received and volunteer to review by the writer.
When Tamara wins a space cruise her sisters guilt her into going but she’s afraid of everything. When she meets Tazhio, she begins to think it might not be too bad but he’s a pilot and isn’t supposed to “mingle”. When they crash land during an excursion fate will have to step in. Tazhio didn’t particularly want a mate but now that he’s spotted her, he’s not going to let her get away. In spite of Tamara’s fears (of a lot of things) she’s really not doing anything to stop him. Fun fast read.
This was comedic smut. Ferret aliens with erections everywhere. Tazhio needing to show off his own erection. Tamara and he being forced to have sex to get her pregnant. Good lord! And then once the deed is done the story ends only to continue in the next book with the next couple. Ridiculous! Not an actual book, more a short story with smut that I just can’t take seriously. Supposedly after two encounters, where they didn’t talk much, they love each other too! Laughable! The most ridiculous alien love story yet, but entertaining I guess.
I'm excited with the start of this new series! I loved how different each of the Bloom sisters are. Tamara is the least adventurous, the least outgoing, and nearly anti-social, so I'm glad that her story took her out of there comfort zone. Tazhio was a little hard to figure out, but eventually, it came together for him too. The story moved quickly and flowed nicely, I didn't need to skim over boring parts because there weren't any! I worry about Beanie though, and I'm hoping that they can get back to where they need to be in future books! I'm looking forward to reading more in this series.
I was gifted an ARC from the author and I'm voluntarily leaving a review to share my opinion on the book I just read!
Intergalactic Dating Agency… Tamara reluctantly agreed to accompany her sisters on an Intergalactic singles cruise despite her severe anxiety issues. When she met Tazhio, their gorgeous pilot at embarkation things definitely started to look up; until the crash… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
What a great read. Exciting, emotional, surprising and so much more. She gets a lot more than she bargained for when she goes with them on their travels. Meets a hot, sexy alien and gets an adventure. It is a read you won't want to put down. It is a page turner for sure. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This story was not as good as the others. I did not care for the main female character, Tamara. I quickly lost patience with her and her whiney ways. Tazhio, main male character was a disappointment also. He put the passengers at risk due to preoccupation with Tamara. Not a good look!
I like Tamara. She hates to travel, tries eveyrthing to get out of it, but when she agrees to go, she uses gravol, motion sickness massage and takes her emotional support dog. She may be high maintenance because of her issue, but her kindness makes up for any troubles.
This is a great standalone book. It has everything you could want in a book including funny bits. It is worth reading and if you love it as much as me you might want to try the rest of the series. Worth 5* and more
This is a really interesting story start off great. A dating cruise for singles. Of course, it is with aliens. Due to an electronic issue the ship crashed into the planet. The story ends happy for now, but rest of adventure is in next book. Good read.
Why they have a shuttle to a planet not even the aliens know much about and is super dangerous doesn’t really make sense. Seems like a huge mistake and an accident waiting to happen but it does make for interesting reading.
What an interesting storyline, it's filled with action and adventure. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
A decent love story with some really weird aliens that show up after a shuttle on a day trip crash lands on a planet. Tazhio is pretty noble, he meets his mate but tries to stay away because fraternizing goes against company policy. But Tamara wants her man and the weird aliens make a hot dream a reality.
Another fantastic story. Tamara’s happy at home, but she wins a cruise. That’s the beginning of a different life for her. Outstanding, well written and worth the binge.
While Tazhio is a short read it’s packed full of the excitement of a luxury cruise through space, a shuttle crash and love (lust) at first sight. And there’s the oddest native population. If you discount the enormous cliff hanger at the end then it’s a great story.
