I enjoyed War Beasts so much! The creativity that Yvonne Nicolas put into this book was perfectly done. Ashanti aka “Lady Ash” and Razor chemistry together was intense. I loved every second of it! The side characters in the book were also enjoyable! The interaction between everyone was very entertaining. Great job, Yvonne! 🔥

Great Read
I'm not going to give spoilers. I will say that I love the relationship between Niragi and Ashanti. From the first meeting to their connection. Ashanti was vulnerable but strong. Niragi was awkward but loveable. I really enjoyed this book. Ms. Nicolas always does her thing.

This book was so good. Might be my new favorite book. Representation was through the roof. I hope we get the sister’s and other War-beasts stories. Just so good 😊.

There are two sides to the FMC in this book. Ashanti is the shapeshifting celebrity cosplayer who does pop ups at comic conventions & posts her recreations on social media. After a traumatic event at a comic convention leaves her afraid & anxious in the outside world, she resorts to a safe space in a Virtual Reality Game- Persona Esquire. This VR game is where she hides behind her avatar / persona, Lady Ash.
Lady Ash receives an invite to join an elite guild called War Beasts despite being a newbie member & only playing the game for less than a year. This guild is said to only recruit the best players in the game but since the leader of the group- The “King of Persona Esquire” has been secretly pining for the FMC, he is able to use his position to his advantage & have an special invite for a recruiting session sent to her as a means to get closer to her.
In this book there are also two sides to the MMC- “The King of Esquire,” Razor is the sexy undefeatable leader of the War Beasts guild & Niragi the fund manager in the real world. He woo’s her with new experiences inside the game & expensive gifts in the outside world.
Their first meeting Razor comes on to her a little strong. Only because he has been secretly pining for the real person- Ashanti, after meeting her at a comic convention where she was cosplaying.
During their interactions with each other throughout the book he constantly downplays himself by saying “I’m not that cool in the real world” or “I’m not good at social interactions” all because he - Niragi, is on the spectrum. Similar to Ashanti, hides his quirks behind his persona / avatar in the game.
This book has some great world-building(or game building lol) & is very futuristic which I really liked. I would have never thought of a virtual reality-ish romance like this so I think it's very creative. I'm stuck between rating this 3 or 4 stars because while this was a creative story, the inner monologue from Ashanti was very cringe at times and I also wished for more scenes written between the main characters in the real world.🌝🌚

Fantastic read!
This story takes the reader through all the emotions. Also great insight on the gaming community , I learned alot. As usual the characters are daring and lack personal boundaries but that's why it's appealing. Thank you for this incredible journey, highly recommend this novel.

Autistic hero
The author advertised this as a autistic hero.
So I was like say less.
The story us slow to get to that, so for a while I thought it was mislabeled.
But it's a creative concept and give you something to debate.

This gamer romance was wild!
Very well written and like nothing I have ever read before. I was blown away by the storyline.
The cover did not prepare me for the deliciousness that happened on these pages. Just wow!! 10\10

A MUST Read!
Amazing. I love the futuristic aspect of the storyline. It was never a dull moment. It lead up to a big fight scene and climax with the couple. Would recommend.
