Vitale's many songwriting credentials include the classic, "Rocky Mountain Way" from "The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get" album by Joe Walsh and, "Pretty Maids All In A Row" from The Eagles album, "Hotel California." Vitale has two solo albums and is releasing his third, "Speaking In Drums," the summer of 2008. His son, Joe Vitale Jr.'s album, which Joe Sr. produced called, "Dancing With Shadows" will also be simultaneously released. Joe continues to tour, record, write, produce, and has no plans for slowing down. The foreword for Backstage Pass is written by David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills.

One of the most positive rock memoirs I've ever read. Just a lot of fun stories from the recording studios and the road.

This is an incredible book about an incredible life. Susie and Joe capture such an amazing collection of Joe’s stories and his journey along the way. It was so fun to read about Joe’s family, life growing up in Ohio, life on the road, and all of the amazing people he met along with the amazing places he has been. I am so glad you wrote this book!

Anyone who is a fan of CSN, Joe Walsh, Neil Young, Dan Fogelberg and many other musicians and bands will love to read this book. Not a typical "behind-the-scenes" book.

If you are a fan of the two Joes, Fogelberg and CSN then this is a must read book. Alright maybe for some of it you had to be there but it's worth it just for the photos!
