The second book in the series brings Sophie and Josh's story. They have a strong connection and a steamy chemistry. The author mixes small town feels along with fame and gives you an interesting love story filled with drama. I was glued to the pages with all the twists and turns along the way and loved reading their story. I'm looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend!

Sophie wins a magazine contest to attend an awards ceremony and meet a famous singer. She never expected to win but enjoys the process of wearing great clothes and makeup and being interviewed. When she meets Josh, the singer, they have a connection. They go through all sorts of complications, with the paparazzi catching them, suffering unfair consequences due to his fame, and her vengeful ex. The author does a good job of showing all the sides to this relationship and how they have to change to allow the other to be themselves. Josh does most of the changing--a thoroughly modern man. There are secondary characters who seem destined to feature in their own books soon!

Just sublime:
Sweet and down to earth Sophie couldn't believe it when singer/songwriter Josh showed an interest in her. They both had misconceptions and fears which led to a tumultuous journey. I really liked these two as a couple and you could really feel their bond and connection.
I thought this book was well balanced with an interesting plot and just the right amount of steamy romance, small town life and drama. I also liked how it highlighted the challenges that come with fame and the paparazzi.
This is turning out to be a fabulous series and I can't wait for the next book!

After receiving this ARC i have to say i totally fell in love with this story and its characters. The will they wont they, the insecurites of past haunting both lead roles it made for a great story line. Both longing for more and the struggle to hold on to it. The authors use of a small amount of base characters only introducing others when the scene needs it is fab and keeps you in with the flow of the story rather than getting lost in other character drama and story lines I love love love that this is also a british based book with its small villages and cosy pubs rather than an american high society drama . Will definitely be reading more from this author and series!

This is book two in The Winton Green Series and it is Sophie and Josh's story. Omg this book is a must read as the story takes you in right from the first page and doesn't let you go until the last one and I couldn't put it down. There are twists and turns along with a strong connection and chemistry that you can feel sizzling of the pages of this book and it was so addictive that I can't wait to read the next book in this series. This is the first book that I have read by Marie Harper Wright but definitely not the last as it was so well written and definitely worth reading.

Sophie is a teacher, who wins a competition and gets to go an award ceremony with a hot singer Josh Heart. They didn't expect the sparks to fly when they met each other. Unfortunately the media might twist their tale, and it might cost Sophie more than she expected. I enjoyed this gripping tale, Sophie is easy to love, but sometimes Josh is frustrating with some of his decisions, although they make a great couple and have a steamy romance story to enjoy.

This is the second story in the "Winter Green" series. It is a stand alone read about Josh and Sophie. It is a touching and heart warming small town romance with a touch of stardom and fame. I loved every bit of this romance and the characters. From beginning to end I was glued and flipping pages. The two are sizzling hot together with great chemistry.

Sophie is a school teacher who wins an award and attends the ceremony alone as her flaky boyfriend does not show and famous rock star Josh invites her to his table for the night as he is also alone. What starts out as a rocky relationship turns into a sweet one when they both realize that the person that they both need is right in front of them.

Another amazing book by Marie! This book still had the ‘small town vibe’ along side ‘rocker star vibe’. connected with Sophie so much, and love that she got it all in the end! Very well written!
