My old college friends decided we need to take a group cruise, significant others included.
There’s just one small hiccup…I’m woefully single.
I ask a friend to come with me to pose as my boyfriend, but he backs out on me at the last minute. What’s a girl to do on a cruise as a single person?
Wait…what?
It’s a lover’s cruise?
Oooh ship!
No way am I spending the week with my friends as the only single in the group. I’ve got to find myself a hot, fake boyfriend, or better yet, a fake fiancé for the week. It can’t be that hard. There have to be plenty of single men on the ship. One of them is bound to say yes. I’ll just board the ship as early as possible and hope I bump into someone worthy.
Okay, yeah. This could work. It’ll either be a genius move…
Or a total ship show.
Total Ship Show is a fake romance rom com, part of the Love at Sea multi-author series. Get ready to set sail through the Caribbean on Festival Cruises’ most alluring voyage with eight of your favorite authors - happily ever after guaranteed!
*Author's note: This book contains material you wouldn't want your kids to read! It's some really steamy ship sooo keep this ship to yourselves!
International Best Selling author, Susan Renee, wants to live in a world where paint doesn't smell, book boyfriends are real, and everything is covered in glitter. An indie romance author, Susan has written about everything from tacos to tow-trucks, loves writing romantic comedies but also enjoys creating an emotional angsty story from time to time. She lives in Ohio with her husband, kids, two dogs and a cat. Susan holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Music Education and a self-awarded Doctorate in Sass and Sarcasm. She enjoys laughing at memes, speaking in GIFs and spending an entire day jumping down the TikTok rabbit hole. When she's not writing or playing the role of Mom, her favorite activity is doing the Care Bear stare with her closest friends.
Fake romance to get friends and family off their backs? Sure. I mean, what can possibly go wrong? Unless feelings come along, things get real, the wrong things are shared, and everything falls apart, nothing at all can ruin this. But the real question is whether or not Aris is worth this heartache and if Adrienne is able to put her fears aside or deal out some heartache of her own.
A few mysteries are solved here. We know who owns the weak stomach. We know how it’s sort of some karmic payback now, too. And boy, is it! We also know more of the doctor who helped a certain injured woman a few books back in this series. And we get to ride along with Aris and Adrienne as they realize just how NOT FAKE their relationship is here. And I won’t lie. Aris sort of….I won’t say disgusted me, but made me think less of him for a bit. Luckily, he had already told most of the truth, but hearing the pieces that were left out from his brothers (who deserved the verbal smack down they received upon sharing all, as well), so it’s more a case of teaching his stupid friend to not act like a callous frat boy when he’s a grown man. Aside from that? Oh, this is a funny read. And it fits right in with the rest of the folks on this cruise.
Poor Adrienne, she's going on a trip with her college friends, and that part isn't so bad, it's the part of the significant others coming as well that has her scrambling to find somehow to fake it along with her so she's showing out so single LOL! I really did feel for her to be honest because been there done that (I just stopped going). Aris doesn't have anyone either, but he just wants to fake it to keep his family off his back, so you can already see what is coming can't you?! One of my favorite things about Love at Sea is the hilarious supporting cast long for the ride as they keep me laughing hard, not to mention some things were revealed finally as a bonus. I loved Adrienne to death, but it took me a minute for whatever reason to warm up to Aris. I'm still rather new to Susan Renee so getting this reminder that I really enjoy her writing style so I'll set out to read her previous work & HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Aris has mixed feelings about taking a cruise with his family as they are determined that he should have a special someone in his life and when they realize he doesn’t he knows the matchmaking is about to begin.
Adrienne was looking forward to a cruise with friends however since she will be surrounded by couples she is beginning to feel out of place before she even arrives. When she meets Aris, they seem like the solution to each other’s problems and that is when the fun really begins.
This story is sure to bring a smile to your face from their first encounter to the last page and the romance between them was endearing. There is quite the group of secondary characters some of which you will like and some you won’t which only makes this story even better.
This is a romcom that leaves you laughing in the most appropriate, and sometimes inappropriate places. Susan Renee definitely knows how to spin a story with characters you just wouldn't expect to be seeing, but wouldn't mind meeting them in real life. This story had it all from the fake-dating, to the instalove, hilarity that ensues and of course the steam.
Adrienne and Aris are both in a predicament, but neither see a solution. That is until a carry-on luggage strap breaks leaving a sparkly pink adult novelty item rolling across an airport floor. From there they encounter each other and finally it comes to light that they could truly help each other out during the week-long cruise. After all they both had the same thought, find a person willing to fake date them for the duration. What kind of shenanigans could possibly happen with this plan?
Real feelings are the only issue that either one could imagine becoming a problem - but neither feel it will be. How wrong they truly were. As the days and nights meld together, and they learn more about each other; and for Adrienne more about her old friends, feelings are caught. Yet, neither seem to mind until the very last day when the reality for the difference in lives become apparent. Will they figure it out? Is miscommunication going to keep them from being with each other? Or will the very real feelings they have, and the ultra-steamy attraction they feel for help them find the way?
As a whole Aris and Adrienne are a dream couple with enough seriousness to them, but with a playfulness that we all wish to have in our relationship. They keep you laughing, while also pulling at the heartstrings and rooting for them to figure it out. These two are definitely a swoon worthy couple, with Aris (and Adrienne) being your new book boyfriend (or girlfriend).
When it comes to the steam there is some really good parts, but it adds to the storyline not overshadows it except when wishing your own partner would do the things Aris does. There is some kissing early on, however, it is a little slower than some may like (you wait until about 50% of the way through the book) before the steamy parts show up. I would put them at a two-point-five chili peppers out of five chili peppers (please note there is no true universal scale for this, what maybe two-point-five for me could be more of less for you.)
I would absolutely recommend this book. It was a quick read and had me smiling, laughing and swooning the whole time.
I was graciously provided an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.
Another wonderful story in the Love At Sea series. This time it is TOTAL SHIP SHOW by Susan Renee, an author I haven't read before but definitely will again. This story is about Adrienne Hart and Aris McElfry, who fake a relationship so that their family and friends will stop trying to set them up with suitable partners. This was a fun, sexy, humourous, and romantic read.
Adrienne has agreed to go on a cruise with her college friends, along with their partners, there is a small problem though ... Adrienne is very single. Her plan is to find a single man on the ship and get him to agree to acting as her fake boyfriend. Aris is a surgeon from Seattle who has, not so happily, agreed to a cruise with his family. Aris' family want him married and see the cruise as a perfect opportunity for him to find that special woman. He has other plans and decides he needs a girlfriend, quickly.
I don't think I have ever laughed so much during the first meeting of two characters, and this laughter continued throughout the entire read. I loved both Adrienne and Aris, she was smart, determined, caring, he was intelligent, confident, charming, they suited each other perfectly. They make an agreement that will ensure that their time on the ship is easier. Can they keep their relationship fake, or will it turn into something more and lead to heartache?
TOTAL SHIP DOWN was a brilliantly funny read from beginning to end. With all the adventures that come with the cruise, emotions that ride a rollercoaster, and the secondary characters who are just as enjoyable as the main ones. I can't forget Gertrude; she never ceases to amaze me with her antics. If you love a fun story, with hilarious happenings and characters, I thoroughly recommend this one.

🚢Book review🚢
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
She did it again, she wrote a very spicy, hot, funny and romatic novella again! This book has a story with 2 POVs, it's a fake fiancé relationship story with a fast burn. A sweet dreamy guy on a vacation cruise. It's a getting to know each other plot with vacation love. A strangers-to-lovers trope. Again very well written en fast paced with lots of hilarious moments, i would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a funny spicy romcom. There's a lot of conversation in this novella, that makes it much more likable. While i was reading the novella, I recognized a part I'd read in an other book of hers, so I was like wait a minute, I've read this already, I liked it very much that she merged the 2 books in that way.
Thank you Susan Renee for this ARC, I really enjoyed it, can't wait 'till the next one.
Adrienne has changed her plans. Aris thought everything was all set until it wasn’t. Can two strangers look beyond what happens in one short week? If you like to be surprised by both a story and the author, you’ve made an excellent choice when you pick this up.
I love to discover new authors. This was a story that I just couldn’t put down. I felt as if I was on the cruise with our main characters. If you get seasick what better way to getting on board than to find a romcom where there are no waves in sight. You can’t pick the weather but with a book it always seems to be the right season with the perfect weather.
I wished to see a scene play out with my own two eyes instead of just in my mind. Getting to know Adrienne and Aris, seeing how they juggle between the truth and what must look real leads to some hilarious moments. This is not a story where the connection and heat start from the beginning. In order to seem plausible, the author lets things build until just the right moment for when our characters take things to the next level.
I’m not going to say any more about the book, because I don’t want to spoil your enjoyment. With the holiday season your life tends to get busier. But if you want a story that’s going to help you relax than this is a good choice. Depending on how much time you have, you can finish this book in one or two days. I can’t wait to read other books from the series as well as our author. And Ms. Renee gives me a hint of at least two books I will need to read.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I have really been enjoying the Love at Sea series, and this latest book is no exception. A wonderfully funny, cute, and sweet addition to the series, I absolutely loved it! Aside from the entertaining stories, what I like about this series is getting to sample a variety of authors who all have their own unique writing styles, but also do such a great job of keeping true to the heart of the series. This one is a fun, fake relationship story that just kept me smiling all the way through. Adrienne's friends convince her to go on a cruise with them, and to bring along their significant others. It would be great, except at the moment she doesn't have a signficant other. Well, she decides there's no other choice but to fake it and somehow come up with a fake boyfriend. Aris is going on a cruise with his family and also has no one special in his life. Well, he needs to find someone before his family begins their meddling matchmaking. Aris and Adrienne have a chance meeting and realize they could help each other out. They can fake a relationship for a week, and then part ways, no problem, right? Only, what to do about those very real feelings that blossom between them? This story was so much fun to read and a great introduction for me to this author. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing them together. They were a cute couple and had really great chemistry. A really enjoyable story and I am so glad to have the opportunity to read it. I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Adrienne was an actress in LA and was going on a cruise with her sorority sisters and everyone besides her had a plus-one and she was not going to show up without a boyfriend...fake boyfriend that is. Except, her best friend Joaquin backed out at the last minute because he now had a girlfriend and didn't think it was appropriate for him to go with her on a cruise.
Aris is a successful surgeon from Seattle who deliberately lived on the other coast from his family. A family who wanted him married. He had successfully managed to avoid last year with them at Christmas making up a fictitious relationship, but this year they have planned a family cruise...a couple's cruise. And he needs to find a girlfriend...fast.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Although this is a standalone novel, I highly suggest you start from book one of this multi-author series. The cruise events and excursions are connected throughout this series and you get teasers of the other author's couples throughout the series and Gertrude! Gertrude is a truly one-of-a-kind woman!
This book is action-packed from page one and will keep you laughing throughout. You will bust out laughing at Adrienne and Aris' first meeting. This is the first book I have read by Susan Renee and it definitely won't be the last. She wraps you up in these characters and you don't want the cruise to end.
A witty rom-com that actually made me laugh is rare indeed and this one had more than one scene that did that for me. By the end of the book, I was invested in the outcome and hoped for happily ever after for Aris and Adrienne.
What I liked: * Adrienne Hart: smart, witty, independent, good friend, knows what she wants, willing to put herself out there, creative, has a sense of humor, liked her * Aris McElfry: physician, intelligent, witty, strong sense of self, charming, easy to know, different sense of humor, good friend, communicates well, liked him * Learning a bit about wildlife conservation that included learning more about turtles and beavers * The meet-cute – had me laughing big time – sparkly pink, indeed ;) * The agreement that Aris and Adrienne came up with and how it morphed into more * That I could see Aris and Adrienne together as a good fit not only for the week but also beyond * The supporting characters – friends and family * Meeting a new-to-me author I would gladly read again
What I didn’t like: * Can’t really think of anything…
Did I like this book? Yes Would I read more by this author? Yes Will I read more in this series? Yes
Thank you to the author and IndiePenPR for the ARC – This is my honest review.
Adrienne and some of her old college friends are going on a cruise, since they all have partners she decides to have a friend be her significant other. However, her friend has a new love interest and can't in good conscience go on the cruise with her and cancels. Now she wonders if she can find a replacement...
Aris lives on the west coast, his family on the east coast, so he's been telling a little white lie for over a year. They think he has a serious girlfriend, he doesn't.
The way Adrienne and Aris meet is hilarious, although they don't actually introduce themselves at that point. They haven't even reached the cruise ship yet.
Once on board, Adrienne heads to a bar for a drink before meeting up with her friends. It here that she meets Aris again. It just so happens that Adrienne's ex is aboard this cruise as well, with one of the friends she's meeting up with on this cruise.
Aris makes the most of this opportunity as he saves her from embarrassment, but he announces she's his fiancée for good measure. This is going to work out in his favor as he convinces her to be his girl when he's with his family.
This is a fun book, with excursions onto islands, fun encounters, the scavenger hunt, romance, sizzle and so much more.
Cute, wholesome and sexy. Everything I would've asked for in a fake dating romance and more. Once again, Susan Renee has delivered! When I'm in the mood for a good feel good romance book it's books by this amazing author I think off. You'll get it after reading this one.
As in true Susan Renee fashion, the book starts with an amazing first line. And don't get me started on the importance of her dedication!
What happens when you are supposed to be going on a couples cruise with your college friends and their partners but you are woefully single? You look for a hottie to pose as your fake boyfriend ofcourse! When it just so happens that you run in to him on 3 different occasions on your way to the cruise, it must be fate.
Can I get me a perscription for Dr. McElfry please? Because that man is perfection! Adrienne is one lucky gall for walking into him and getting to spend the entire cruise pretending (?) to be his girlfriend.
Total ship show is a feelgood novel that gives you the warm and fuzzies and ... something else 😉. Fun, quick and steamy read that kept me grinning from ear to ear almost the entire time.
After having read most of the Love at Sea Series, I’m ready to get on a cruise. Adrienne being flustered drops her broke bag in the airport an every thing falls out including personal items. Aris stops said personal item with his foot. Imagine the embarrassment of looking up at a alpha tall, dark, handsome man that his foot on your pink dildo. Then he get’s on the same plane, my word. Dildo guy is on this huge cruise ship an walks into the same bar! Bless his heart. Where’s Ms. Gertrude with the cane when you need here? Aris McElfry, Hottie McBlue Eyes, has told his family about this fictional woman that doesn’t exist. Adrienne is on the cruise ship early as well because she has this fictional fake romance to brag about to her college friends. I’ve never heard more about romance rom com genres until I read an throughly enjoyed these series. I can tell you about the scavenger hunts an the five minute meet an greets for singles. Loved this novel, entertaining, realistically an great storyline. There appeared to be many explicit sexual scenes for me in this novel though. This is a honest review for an ARC. Great novel.
Adrianna is in a bit of a mess she's going on a cruise with former college friends and one ex who started to date a friend of hers and she's told everyone she's over it she's moved on she's dating big old fat lie her friend who was going to poss as her boyfriend well he can't make it oh no what's a girl going to do loose her toys at the airport in front of a hot guy who she later kisses or did he kiss her all to keep a big old lie secret.
Aris well he's a doctor with a similar problem his girlfriend and he broke up but he's been lying to his parents about that so he needs a fake girlfriend fast to pretend to be his ex also there are some very unpleasant things in his past and two jerky brothers who needs enemies when you have family and rude friends.
Another hilarious cruise ship with a lot of lying some interesting revelations and questions that you wondered will they ever get answered they do now and some hot chemistry between a guy who's more then his past and man that past is hard to swallow. And a girl who really needs to trust in relationships again.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Adrienne and Aris are both going on the Love at Sea cruise alone, she with sorority sisters and he with his family. Both have told the others they are with someone. They both devise the same strategy for finding a partner--get there early and scope out the options. They find each other and are very happy to have done so. He gives her a big kiss within minutes of acquaintance to help an awkward meeting with her ex, who is now with one of her friends. They like each other and have a lot of fun, including passionate encounters of the best kind. This book is probably the funniest and raunchiest of the series so far. It is also the only one that made me cry when it looked like they might not make it. At least this couple doesn't drink themselves under the table every night! As in some of the other books in this series, the couple parts unhappily at the end and have to work to get back together to live their life together. I received an ARC from the publisher and left this review voluntarily.
Total Ship Show is part of the Love at Sea series. Though I’ve read Susan’s books before and other authors within this series, I haven’t read any other books in this series yet. But if Total Ship Show is like the others. I’m definitely going back to read them. I’ve been on 17 cruises and this book has brought back so many memories. Adrienne is cruising with her sorority sisters on a couples cruise. But her best friend backs out leaving her looking for a guy to act as her boyfriend/fiancé during the cruise. Easy right?! Aris is in a similar situation, bringing his girlfriend to meet his family though they broke up months ago. When Adrienne and Aria meet in the airport then again on the ship, they form this fake relationship, what could go wrong? Well, her ex is in the room next to her and Aris is a doctor so Adrienne is left to act as 2 different people. There two are absolutely amazing together. And that balcony scene… full of laughs, banter, steam, secrets, family, friends, love and so much more. Can’t wait to read what Susan has for us next.
When Adrienne Hart's college friends decide to take a group cruise with significant others included it wasn't too bad until her best friend backs out who was posing as her boyfriend and now she is going as single. Wouldn't be a problem, but her ex is there and they have the room next door to her. There has to be some single guys on this cruise right? Dr. Aris McElfry, Chief of General Surgery at Seattle City Hospital. He is meeting his family on board and they think he has a girlfriend except they broke up a while back. They first meet at the airport over some funny issue and then meet again on board the ship. Both are put to the test and decide to help each other out but Adrienne has to act as 2 different people. What could possibly go wrong?
A cute story that you see previous couples from the prior books show up. Some great laugh out loud parts.
Total Ship Show by Susan Renee is a book in the multi-author series, Love at Sea. This book was hilarious. I laughed more times than I could count. Adrienne and Aris both need a fake relationship. Adrienne’s friends all decided to come on this couples trip and sadly she is not part of a couple. Aris’ entire family is coming on this trip. They also think he’s been dating someone for quite some time. By some force of nature, they meet and bond over something pink and sparkly at the airport - my absolute favorite. Things are going well until they aren’t. Feelings were caught and egos were bruised. I liked that we were able to see them off ship to know what their ending was. Honestly, I hope Aris yelled at his brothers. The jerks. Overall it was fun to watch the two of them realize that this was much more than a fake relationship. I love Susan’s books and this was just as great as others. And a great addition to the series!
Adrienne and Aris were such a powerhouse together. I absolutely loved how their relationship progressed. Their banter was hilarious. They had me laughing from start to finish.
Both Adrienne and Aris arrive on the cruise looking to find someone to help out with their little problem, them being single when they should have brought a plus one. But fate put them in each other's path and that led to a whole lot of fun events. Like one-upping stories how they met, doing crazy and hot things while trying to win the scavenger hunt. I loved both MC's and I even loved the drama that led to them split up for a short time. In that time, they both realized that their HEA was only possible if they're in each other's lives.
This is (for me) the best I've read so far in the series. Absolutely hilarious.
Imagine being invited by your former sorority sisters to go on a love cruise, only to have to tell them you are single? That doesn’t sit right with Adrienne.
So, her best friend is supposed to be her wingman on the cruise. Splendid idea! Until he tells her he can’t go… Leaving Adrienne in a predicament.
She does decide to go and maybe find some single guy to stand in as her boyfriend? Shouldn’t be too hard on a couples/singles cruise, right??
Cue: Dr. Aris McElfry (aka Dr. McF…me)
Boy oh boy did I want to be Adrienne, while reading this… Aris is HOT! And apparently in need of some assistance himself?
Loved the story, funny, quick and easy read with some very enjoyable steamy/spicy scenes!
The author always hits the right notes for me with her books and her characters.
Fake relationship tropes are one of my favorite to read, they are always a joy and never disappoint. Ari and Adriannes story is not the exception. They find themselves needing to use each other to pose as each others significant other, only to fall head over heels in love with one another. They live a complete adventure while on the cruise. From liying and making up funny stories to convince their friends and family they are a couple in love, to getting hot and heavy while competing in a adult scavenger hunt. The only thing I did not see coming and surprised me was how seductive Dr. Ari was. Maybe because he's a doctor and doctors in my mind tend to be on the more professional, serious side. Anywho, it's an adventurous, sexy, romantic, funny, and fast paced read. It really made me giggle in several ocassions and I loved that. It's the perfect rom-com to get you out of a reading slump.
What could go wrong going on a couples/ family cruise? Adrienne’s “date” her best friend pulls out at last min, aris turns up without his mystery girlfriend. Chance in-counter at airport which includes a sparkly pink dildo has ade + aris meeting. Then meeting again on cruise ship, where they both need fake partners and agree to be each others. We find out who puked in pool + who the doc was that helped Zoey/Anna in previous book, as always Gertrude was amazing at scavenger hunt all I’ll say is burpees in a pink polka dot speedo thong !!! As always Susan’s first lines in her book are amazing, loved mention of her previous book ( a must read) and characters from her other books (also must read) I now need a hammock !!!
In love with this series!! I love all of these characters so much!! I had no idea what I was in store for this couple because I don’t remember too much of them in the other books but glimpses!
Adrienne is super funny and an all around amazing girl! I fell more in love with her each chapter! I think I laughed the most in the book because this pair is just amazingly funny together!!
Aris is such a hot freaking doctor that is incredibly charming and funny but paired with Adrienne! He seems to be a brooding doctor without her. The things that he does for her and to her is intoxicating!
I love this pair so much and I was rooting for them more than any other pair!! So many things happened that left me laughing so much because I had a feeling! I can’t wait to go read about their friends!!
I give this book all the stars!! I’ve been on a spicy/smutty/extremely dark romance book kick lately. I’ve read some of Susan’s books before so I figured this would be a bit of a palate cleanser for me after reading a particularly dark and intense duet. I. Was. Wrong. Total Ship Show just became one of my favorite books I’ve read this year! I have never laughed so hard reading a book before! It had the spice that I love but it was just such a great story. If you like pink sparkly dildos, beavers and doctors with nicknames reminiscent of the Grey’s Anatomy Dr. Mc— trend…this is the book for you! 😂
Omg, that first meet as priceless. I loved it so much. Adrienne and Aris have both lied to the people they plan to spend a week long cruise with about have a significant other. They decide to help each other and boy was that fun. Especially since Aris had already given his family a name for his mystery woman before they go on board. I have to think me favorite part was the scavenger hunt, because it is hilarious. The Easter eggs in this book were great as well. Both of Adrienne and Aris are friends with people from Susan Renee’s other books. So far every book in the Love at Sea series has been amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens next on the ship….. or for what comes next from Susan Renee.
This was a fun book to read! I enjoyed every single word! Adrienne is an actress/waitress. Her sorority sisters are all going on a lover’s cruise and they are are all meeting up. It should be an absolute blast except Adrienne doesn’t have a significant other. She asked her best guy friend to pretend to be her boyfriend but he had to back out because he met a girl and is falling hard.
Aris is a surgeon who doesn’t want to endure his family’s meddling into his love life. Aris has stooped so low as to hire a prostitution to pose as his girlfriend in front of his family.
This book is full of laughs and fun. I loved this book! I highly recommend this book.
So I am honestly not someone who usually reads or enjoys novellas at all . That Being said I have read pretty much all the other books in the Love At Sea Series and just adored every single story. So many wonderfully written love stories written by some truly talented authors many are new to me while there are also others that Happen to be my faves . Well Susan Renee definitely falls into the category of firsts for me and I can say with certainty that I will absolutely be reading her again. Total Ship Show was the perfect blend of all the things a great romance should entail. Fake relationship , Wonderfully written characters, , angst , witty banter , humor , second chances , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, romance, love , obstacles, unexpected surprises, family , friendships and story that is definitely going to grab onto all your emotions so fast and pull at your heartstrings so comfortably, it’s fun , sexy , sweet and quite simply just perfect
Thank you to Susan Renee for an arc copy in exchange for an honest review
Adrienne is going on a couples cruise with her college friends. She asked her friend, Joaquin, if he'd pretend to be her boyfriend for the trip but he backed out. She meets a very handsome man in the airport that happens to be on the same flight she is. Could she find the courage to ask him to help her?
The nicknames they have for each other are adorable. The way the met is hysterical. They compliment each other every well. It's cute how much Aris is trying to be a gentleman. Adrienne's ex being there was horrible. Their first kiss was powerful. I love how she gets along with his family. This is a very cute story.
Total Ship Show (Love at Sea) by Susan Renee could possibly be one of my favorite books that I have read all year! This series has been wonderful and with Susan Renee's contribution it is that much better! It is very difficult for me to leave a review because I want to absolutely GUSH about its greatness, yet I do not want to ruin anything for anyone who has not read it yet. You will experience humor and charm with the characters as well as the cruise escapades that they embark on. I sincerely recommend this story, and I know that I will need to scoop up everything I can find written by Susan Renee because I LOVE her writing!
Total Ship Show is part of the Love at Sea series. This was by far my favorite one yet. Adrienne and Aris were so cute and funny together. I laughed out loud so many times while reading this book. The part where she is talking to his family and telling them how they met, along with her nickname had me rolling. And when Aris is telling her friends about how they met, still laughing lol. I absolutely loved the chemistry between them, and how they just clicked. She was his beaver. Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes, and this book totally delivered with that. I highly recommend this book, plus the rest of the books in this series. They are so much fun, and seeing how everything is mentioned in each book ties into the next if fun as well.
