Oh oh, that sounds like? Paedo- Paedo- Paedophiliaaaa

I am not even going to go into the stupid plot of this book anymore because I am honestly so fucking disgusted right now and just overall confused on how people are just brushing this off.
Let me give you a bit of a backstory that will include spoilers:

Hook wished for Love years ago after seeing Wendy (Moira's grandmother) on Neverland and wanted love since then.
He for some fucked up reason always thought it was going to be a descendant of Wendy so he thinks it is a good fuckin idea to stalk the family.
When Hook comes to "claim" his true love aka Moira she is 6 years old.
Let me repeat that SHE IS SIX FUCKIN YEARS OLD!!!

This grown adult man comes and says "yeah she is the one" and proceeds to watch and stalk her as well as proceeds to send other grown pirates top spy on her.
When Moira's mother realises that weird men watch her daughter she confronts then.

Now you would think that she would get mad at them and tell them to stop. Welll that does not happen. She proceeds to share more stories about her 6 year old daughter with these disgusting men.

Fast forward to the present we get a sex scene.
Post sex Hook says that Moira's loves his cussing and that he knows that because years ago, when she was a CHILD, her mother once said to Hook, that her daughter had a prudish streak that hid something a bit more saucy.

What the actual fuck???? Afterwards Moira just blushes and is I guess happy that they talked???
and then Hook says this.

"I started for news of you. Always wanting to know more and more. The more I learned, the harder I fell. I love you before we ever met."

Yeah you Paedophilia obsessed man fell in love with a 6 year old and the mother fully supported it.
I am so confused about this fuckin book and so disgusted as well as dissapointed.

A fun conclusion to the story of Hook and Moira! Peter was downright nasty in this one, and not in a good way. Hook was nasty too, but all the best ways. And Moira came into her own and was fierce and brave, which I loved!

I just finished this book and I don’t have the right words to describe just how much I loved this story.

I absolutely loved the ending to this trilogy. My only complaint is that it’s over and I want more! This story reminded me of my favorite Peter Pan retelling which is not even a book *gasp* I know, I know, don’t come for me! My PREVIOUS favorite (until this story) was the arc on ABC’s Once Upon a Time (season 3) Peter Pan retelling. This story reminded me a lot of that retelling, except the R rated version 😉😏😍🤤

“You aren’t leaving me, lass.” He runs his teeth along my jaw line. “I won’t let you. I ought to spank you—and I will soon—for even thinking it.”

I’m definitely going to have a book hangover from this one!! I just want to start book 2 all over again because I am not ready to leave this world.

He’s not concerned about the ship he’s devoted his entire life to. It’s me he’s worried about.

James’ love and complete devotion to Moira is what dreams are made of 🥰

This is such a confusing ending. This book is very similar to the first, so much happening so fast and I don’t have time to collect my thoughts. We’re at the last book but we still don’t know anything or understand anything. In fact a lot of things that need explaining are never explained in the very end. I found it so boring. In this book so many unnecessary things happening that aren’t adding much to the plot and I just feel as confused in the end as I did at the start.
No idea what her power is except that it’s “stories” like how tf is she going to use her power of stories when fighting. It’s never explained how or when or why she can use her power of stories.
Also the epilogue situation is very strange, it’s as if the author didn’t know if they want to kill off the main character or keep her alive.
It’s very sad because the premise of the series was so good but then the execution was very bad. Feels like I’m reading an average-to-bad Wattpad story.
Very disappointed.

The Never & Night trilogy is a steamy Peter Pan/Hook retelling that I was utterly captivated by. I didn’t know I had a thing for pirate smut, but I guess I do now 🤗

Our fmc, Moira is thrust into Neverland after being kidnapped by the alluring, all grown-up Peter Pan. He and his merry band of Lost Boys hold Moira captive in their many tunnels under the Nevertree; where nothing is as it seems. She grows closer to Peter and the Lost Boys, feeling protective over them and enjoying reading them stories every night.
But when darkness closes in and Moira’s world is turned upside again, she soon learns that the little family she’s created in Neverland is not at all who she thought they were. And maybe the forests outside are dangerous, but not as dangerous as staying underground with Peter might be.

…. Enter: Captain James Hook — ruthless killer and the epitome of a morally grey pirate. He’s crass, dirty-mouthed and will stop at nothing to rescue his boon, Moira, from his arch nemesis, Peter Pan.

I’m absolutely ADDICTED to this series and I know I’ll have to read it again to get lost in Neverland with these characters that I love so much. The imagery the author created around Neverland was stunning and it felt like I was there. So many twisty turns and shocking plots twists that left my heart pounding 😫 Hook was my fav character (obvi 🥵). He was so complex and loved Moira with every piece of his soul.

Omg this series was so good. The first book was a bit slow. Almost felt like it was the prologue (super long prologue lol). And it didn’t pick up towards the end of the book but it was all necessary information. Such a creative and captivating retelling of Peter Pan.
Also who know I would fall in love with Captain Hook 🥵😍 He was so fierce and swoon worthy!

"I've wanted you for so long." His voice breaks, his gaze capturing mine. "I've dreamed of you, lass. Only you."

"I give nothing back, lass. Nothing.” He presses his forehead to mine. "I'll never give you up. You are my treasure.”

"I was starved for news of you. Always wanting to know more and more. The more I learned, the harder I fell. I loved
you before we ever met, lass."

"This is who I am, Moira. I will strike down anyone who even thinks to harm you. There's no other way for me. I'll do it
with a smile on my face, lass. And I'll keep doing it until all your enemies' heads are stacked at your feet.”

"No." He bites the word. "It won't. If you're not here, nothing will be okay. Fight, Moira. I need you to be brave."

Again, the second and this third book in this series was better than the first. Now I will admit I did get kind of annoyed with the same fight happening over and over again, and I don’t mean like battles I mean everyone keeping dhit from the MC and not being honest with her. When that is the main issue throughout three books it gets old. I do like the twists the author used when it came to the classical Peter Pan fairytale we know and I loved her portrayal of Hook. The spice was great as well. The ended though was like off, I don’t know how else to explain it but when I read it I was so disappointed and like wtf. It just didn’t fit but overall enjoyed this series as a quick little read in between some of my bigger novels. I finished all three books within a day and a half.

I started and finished this series in 3 days. I could NOT put this story down.

We’re parts of it corny as all hell? Absolutely. Moiras inner dialogue drove me crazy sometimes and her pop-culture references and use of modern slang around a bunch of pirates drove me crazy but the plot was GREAT.

I’m a sucker for a Peter Pan retelling, and while there were parts of this that felt predictable and simultaneously corny and cringey, this was a damn good retelling.

4.5 stars for me (I knocked half a point if for the cringey bits lol)

everything you could ever want out of a pirate boyfriend.

To be honest, it missed the mark for me! the storyline was lacking and the pacing angst failed to deliver the emotional punchline it was seeking, but that doesn't mean I'll ruin it for you.

I think we all want a Hook. A man who would go to the ends of the earth for you, regardless of what it costed him. The way he scoured and searched for Moira was everything. And the way he insisted that she was beautiful was even cuter, even when she was physically drained and obviously not her best. He loved her the way a villain would.

Endlessly.

Infinitely.

Inevitably.

He would do anything to have her and her love. He would do anything to protect her, too, whether that meant risking his life, his ship, his crew or future run-ins with vengeful would-be enemies. Hook was beautiful. His mouth was so filthy, yet somehow romantic? It was a contrast I was not ready for. At times, I felt it was a bit overdone, but for the most part it conveyed exactly how he was feeling and exactly how much he worshipped Moira, how much he yearned for her with his entire being.

And I did feel fear with Pan. When he kidnapped and manipulated her, drugged her, and the truth started coming out about the Lost Boys, I was no longer crushing on him like I was on the beginning. I was scared. I was scared of what he would do, what he hadn't done yet, and how much power he hadn't yet showed. I was unnerved.

oh, !!!spoiler warning!!!

The whole Spinner revelation stunned me. I wasn't really expecting it. Mostly because I hadn't thought to connect the dots, but giving Moira power and significant heritage was definitely the right move to make. Her wit and power --- and consequent status --- make an even more perfect match for Hook, who not only needs someone who is patient with him but also balances out his power. All hail the pirate queen!

And I respected what was done with Tink. I do think it could've been executed better, but the entire revelation had me gasping out loud.

Ultimately, it was a great finale to Lily Archer's 'A Land of Never and Night' series, concluding an excellent Pan retelling where the villain gets the girl.

WOW!! Even better than the first two!!
The author gives a GREAT, short, summary of book 2 so you don't HAVE to go back and read it but why would you not? it was AWESOME!!
Book 3!! OOOOOO , Well, I don't want to ruin it for you , there are a LOT of big surprises coming your way!! and they are GOOOOOOD!!! so good. And THEN!! We learn more about the missing queen of the mermaids, Ari, sad story--wee bit sad. we learn why the island is in the horrible shape it's in, that's a good one too. we learn a LOT more about Moira's mother!!! OMG!!! THAT is stunning! STUNN ING!
We learn the TRUTH about Hooks involvement in Moira's mothers life. Peter is a big fat LIAR!! There's of course a pirate battle that makes the one in book 2 look like 2 bad kids playing in a wading pool!! THIS battle is 2 vengeful pirates playing in an ocean full of horny krakens!!! and that's not even the best part!! Every sentence bests the previous one!! GREAT BOOK, GREAT SERIES, GREAT READING ADVENTURE!!!!! I'm gonna go BINGE them ALL, no waiting or hanging on a CLIFF. Just blissful reading.

The final installment of this Peter pan retelling was probably the best book of the series. We see how previously random characters actually contributed to the overall plot and how the magic of the island works. We get a spicy love story between Moira and Hook and Peter gets what's coming to him.

I will say that this book starts off with a TW of attempted SA so if anyone doesn't want to read that be aware. But it's not overly graphic or anything but it's there.

I found myself a bit confused at times with the book though due to the sudden tonal shifts or plot twists that didn't necessarily feel like plot twists. Sometimes I was just a little lost as the reader because things changed so suddenly.

I liked the overall theme regarding the power of stories. I wished there was a bit more backstory about the weavers and a bit more about how the island makes you forget especially with the ending of the book. Though I will say the book was a fun little retelling.

I loved James and Moira. James really grew on me and I liked how the author twisted up this fairytale.

A perfect end to this amazing Neverland retelling.
This one of the best Peter Pan/Neverland retellings that I’ve read. It was so original, nothing like any others that are circulating right now. For such small books, the plot is phenomenal.
This story takes you on a massive ride with Moria, Peter, and Hook. The island itself being a living thing added so much authenticity to the plot. All the Neverland beings and creatures made it so enjoyable. Even the random narwhal that Hook mentioned (I loved that story).
This was an absolute perfect ending to a beautifully done retelling. It was spicey, but romantic. Captivating and page turning. I loved it so much. Lily has done a fabulous job with this retelling and I thank you so much for this story.

A thoroughly satisfying ending to a twisted ever after

The energy and mystery continues and keeps the story going right to the very end. Clues dropped along the way start to add up and the questions are answered that Moira has been searching for. There is action, pain, love and miss as everyone must make their sacrifices to return balance to Neverland.
I enjoy Ms. Archer's whimsy and humor and she is able to create fleshy for l characters full of life. She always delivers the romance and spice with the HEA I love, but makes the journey full of trials and such a range of emotions that makes the happy endings worth the pain and tears. Definitely a series to be read and savored.

I felt this was somehow the weakest of all three books. The spice was up and so was the friendships, the friendships the part I loved most in the series. I felt the ending seemed a bit rushed. Two and an half books worth of buildup all finished in two super short chapters. Felt that Pan was taken out easy. Like he is the dark villain that no one can go against alone and wam bam he’s out in a lack luster fight? Like Anne had more time???? Also where was a good chapter or two of hook being a depressed lover boy? Like oh no she’s dead, next thing you know she’s a pirate queen? It needed more. This is honestly so upsetting because I enjoyed to series and the first section of the book but the ending let me down

I have too many thoughts about this! I love Hook, can't seem to get over the fact Peter is the villain because I was looking for another retelling - whether stand alone or series - where he wouldn't be. But, despite that I was not disappointed and I mean it when I say that everyone would and should fall in love with this version of Captain Hook. And if Peter wasn't such a pain the ass, perhaps we, as readers, could have fallen for him too.

I have enjoyed reading this series on my days off and I actually really loved the ending of this! Now I'm going to go stare into the abyss, wondering what my next read is going to be. But I might need a minute.

The third book in the Never and Night series has action/adventure/romance/friendship. Like most of her books the first two end on a cliffhanger so you really have to keep reading. I found it hard to get into the first book as the backdrop (Neverland) is just so bizarre but I kept going and I'm glad I did, its a good series. This author doesn't waste too much time on descriptions of people and things but it would be better if she spent a little bit of time on this as you find yourself wondering what some people look like. While she described some characters, I had a hard time picturing others like the main character Moira.

This book was just GROSS!!! Hook, who is almost hundreds of years old basically wishes for love and thinks he found her but he realizes she is 6 years old and wants to wait for her! Disgusting! When the mother finds out, instead of telling him to back off her small child, she basically encourages him to pursue her SMALL CHILD!!!! Then tells Hook how she thinks her SMALL CHILD is saucy and will like Hooks cussing!!! Like WTF!!! She is basically pimping out her LITTLE GIRL to a grown ass adult man!!! Why is this even in the book!?!?!?

Ugghhh this story was AMAZING. I finished it way to fast now I need to reread all 3 books. I couldn’t get enough. Moira and Hook are everything in this story. Hook is the perfect villain yet so swoon worthy over how he loves Moira. Peter got what he finally deserved. This story is non stop page flipping amazing story. Lily has outdone herself with this series and it’s now one of my all time favorites. You can never go wrong with a Peter Pan retelling:

The start was a little slow to get going, but once it was going, I was captivated. Once again, Hook was just *chef's kiss* and I love seeing him in his element. Peter Pan on the other hand, I was ready to throw off a cliff - especially with his annoying ass shadow. But we got the ending we deserved, and some unknown tie ins I hadn't been expecting.

Overall, I'm so glad I stumbled across this series.

Not only was the third book the book from the series, but I loved the ending of it. I love happy endings and this book answered all the questions I had from the beginning. I was team Hook all the way and I didn’t realize I was going to enjoy a pirate love story so much. This book has everything you want to read, I’m so glad I got the chance to read the whole series. Great job to the author for writing an amazing series!

A hook smut book

What the title says and Peter Pan does appear in it to be killed in the end the story was bad felt like I wasted my time the best part was the beginning I guess when Peter used a forgetting potion on her so we get to see another part of Neverland and Peter being Peter but it’s only a few pages most of the book is just smut with Hook and it’s bad

My heart! This series was dark, exciting, spicy and a super easy fun read. The third book I gave a little less stars because it felt a little rushed at the end. But overall I have enjoyed Lily Archers books. She knows how to keep the reader entertained. 😊

Still diving into my Captain Hook love.
If you're looking for a book where Peter Pan is the enemy, Captain Hook is still a villian, just a smooth talking, dirty one... and the villian gets the girl, READ THIS!!!! Yesterday. It is a slow burn but so so so good. Maybe one of my favorites of this year. I read all three books in less than a day. 🥲🤎

Ja… deze was wel echt beduidend minder goed. Las nog steeds lekker weg. Maar zoveel loose ends.. er klopte ook best wel veel shit niet, dus best irritant. Hook and Peter

I loved these 3 books. Lily really had a way to pull you in with these stories. Reading about James and how he found his love and showing Peter really is the villain makes for a great book.
