Curly Bay Animal Rescue #18

The Cozy Case of Murder and A True Furever Home

Rate this book
Courtney thinks she might finally be able to give the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue the true makeover it deserves when she hears about a community development project that’s holding a contest, but when a body turns up, she can’t help but get to the bottom of it one more time!

A community development project fills Courtney with visions of expansion. If she can just find the time to put together a good presentation, she’ll be able to help many more cats and dogs in Curly Bay. But she also has some stiff competition with the proposed new community center in town.

The competition turns sour, however, when a body turns up connected to the fund, and with no one else in the frame Courtney is in the crosshairs again. Will she be able to uncover the culprit? Can her cozy sleuthing skills solve yet another Curly Bay case?

Courtney is told about a contest by a community development project and is all set to win the shelter that money to get them a well deserved makeover.

Then a dead body turns up!
She also has a new community centre opening up so the pressure is on.
Can Courtney find the truth behind it all again and finally get her happy ever?

I have loved these easy to listen to books and settling into Curly Bay with Courtney Cain.

Loved it!

This book was a great ending to a wonderful series about the manager of the Curly Bay Animal shelter and all the animals, dogs, cats, and even some reptiles, Courtney helped find forever homes for. But she wasn't the only one helping, the entire community pitched in, this time. The plot is easily followed and the premise is finding out who killed the big city developer and why. I definitely highly recommend this book!

Heart warming

As always I enjoy every book in this series. The fast paced read that is still a full well told mystery keeps me coming back. The characters are endearing and the animals ate just wonderful. I love that every story ends on a happy note. These books warm my heart. I do hope there are more adventures on the way for Curly Bay. 😊

Pets are family

I enjoyed this short cozy mystery. Anything that has animals in the story gets me everytime. As an animal lover I enjoyed the mystery plus it being about an animal shelter if you are looking for a quick mystery read this is the book for you.

Marvelous

I read this books like a sugar addict at a dessert bar. The characters were warm and easy to relate too. The animal stories were heart warming and happy. I am thankful that the last book wrapped up so nicely but am sad that the series is over.

This is the eighteenth book in this series and it is a good story about helping people find animals they love and so did Courtney
