This was so disturbing I couldn’t put it down. I love when an author makes me feel things and I found myself cringing and squeezing my eyes into slits to read through parts! 🤣

This was a fast read.
It was sometimes hard in the beginning to keep track of characters, mostly due to the format of the book.
This book certainly has me wondering what I just read lol
Not a bad book at all. Just very different.
Not for the faint of heart either. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this book.
Fast read which I absolutely loved. It was so good that even my husband asked to read it as I was telling him parts about it.

I've noticed people had a hard time with keeping track of characters but they all end up tying together as most books do, other than that it's brutal as my husband would say.

Most of my moments where WTF, and no freaking way.

I loved that I couldn't guess the endings. When I thought I put the pieces together. I was wrong.

I can't wait to read the next one.

This book is definitely NOT for the weak. I don’t get grossed out easily, and I’ll say that I definitely did in this book.

The back and forth between past/present tense and characters was confusing and hard to follow at times.

The overall idea of the story was great, but I just don’t think it was executed very well. I don’t plan to read any of the others in this series.

twisted, vile and downright the stuff nightmares are made of.

This definitely not for the faint of heart. The story line is hard to follow at times but also makes you stop after so long and mentally reset before continuing this roller coaster of trauma, brutality and cliff hanger ending that pisses you off all in the same sentence.

Dirty.

This book is deranged, and the forms of torture August presents us with are equally disgusting as they are fascinating.

This book is absolutely not for the weak, but pretty good. Many, many errors and I feel like a lot of missing pieces.

Overall I enjoyed the gory parts and it was a decent read.

Disgusting

I have read a lot of books, thrillers, horror, etc. But this is the most disgusting book I have ever read. I only finished it because I wanted to see the relationships between the characters. I am glad that the book is finished!

Jumps around too much

The body horror in this was well done, the premise was interesting, but the storyline was too hard to follow.

The story line is awful imo. It just felt like it was r***, torture over n over without much context
