Please note: Wicked Princess is included with this book.
Her:
They call me a heartless b*tch.
An evil manipulator.
A wicked princess who enjoys hurting people.
They tell me terrible things happened.
Things that changed my life forever.
Only problem is... I can't remember any of it.
Him:
They say you're happy now.
That you can't remember anything from your past and it's for the best. They told me if I cared about you I'd stay far away and leave you alone for good.
Because you're getting married to a man you love.
Only problem is... you loved me first.
Note: This is the FINAL book in the Royal Hearts Academy series. Cruel Prince (Jace and Dylan's book). Ruthless Knight (Cole and Sawyer's book) should be read first for a better understanding of the family dynamic.
I'm a little bummed that I did the whole re-read of the first 2 books to finally read this to only mildly enjoy it. I was really looking forward to Bianca and Oakley's story only to be disappointed that the majority of it was set in the past. I'm not really a big fan of that. Even though Bianca wasn't very likable in the first two books, I missed the girl who took no shit from anybody. She wasn't a push over in this book, but she was definitely missing that spark she had before the accident. Obviously with the trauma she went through it's expected; just missed.
I loved Oakley so much in the previous books that I had such high hopes for his book. I am disappointed that he didn't get much book time with Bianca and that Stone took up so many pages of the story.
So even though this was not my favorite, it was still a great series. I definitely would recommend it.
-high school academia -amnesia trope -brothers best friend -summer fling -hurt/comfort
okay first things first…the farther i got in this series…(& i’ll say this started even in the first book) the MORE MY HATRED GREWWWWWWW for liam…of all people. im sorry & this may be an unpopular opinion but all the flashbacks of him….he was horrible person! a terrible friend & a selfish as fuck brother/son! i get everyone loving him or whatever but alllll he ever fucking did was throw tantrums & i was like why would yall wanna remember those parts & THEN…be like yeah…THAT….that behavior is what i wanna defend & go to bat for…i will never understand tbh.
BUT ANYWAYSSSSS….by the time we get here…this whole family is the hot mess express…& i was along for the ride the entire damn time!! but god damn..the way these men fall to their knees for their women…😮💨😮💨😮💨 fucking TEN OUTTA TEN for that alone!!!
What an epic end to a glorious story. If you read Wicked Princess and thought that would be the final book, I don't know how you believed that. I read it knowing the book was just a 200-page book that can be deemed a prolog.
I was right in the end. I was excited to see Oakley even though the scene showed he was broken.
This book did have some issues. It was extremely long, and at times, it seemed unrelealistic and cringey. For some reason, the only plot I wish was tackled was Oaks mom. I wanted to see where she was even though she was a terrible mother. The Haley storyline with her dad was rushed, and such a serious topic should have been given more attention, but I understand why Ashley didn't at the same time due to how triggering such a topic can be.
But other than that, I ❤️ this book!
Bianca did grow on me. Her going through amnesia, I hate to say, made her grow as a person. I loved who she bacame and the relationships she built, especially with Dylan. Just seeing her mom and what happened and having to carry the burden around alone after Liams death had to be hard. I now understand why she was such a coldfish and treated people the way she did around her. She doesn't excuse it, but she even said she hated herself at times and took responsibility. From the beginning, I knew Stone was a piece of crap. Wicked Princess, there was no chemistry between the two, and his mother was a pain. But I liked seeing Bianca and Oakley build their relationship back up. I wish it would have been a chapter or two before she knew who Oakley was instead of Jace and Cole appearing but that scene when she had seen him and didn't know who he was I loved the most.
Oakley was a broken, kind soul. I hated how he treated females, but he was used and abused by two women, his mother and stepmother. Bianca helped him see his life was more than what he perceived it to be. He was an amazing writer and sweet person who saw Bianca for what she was and didn't give her false narratives. He was always honest, and that's what I loved most about him. I just wish he would see he didn't need to abuse substances to make himself feel better. The book did a great job at talking about such a topic and more.
I liked that the book tackled multiple topics: Oakleys affair with his stepmother, Loki, even Stones abuse, and more. Even the baby storyline I was surprised by that, but it is important that people understand that just because a mother or father doesn't meet the baby doesn't mean they won't have an emotional connection with said baby. It was sad to see Bianca suffer, but to see her and Oakley come out of it was enduring. I loved that Oakley took responsibility for what he did while recognizing his privilege.
It sucks to say goodbye to these characters, but I am glad they all had their happy ever after. Jace, Cole, Bianca, Dylan, Sawyer, and Oakley were a hell of a ride.
But as usual, I will always read Ashley Jade. She is an amazing author and great with teenage to adult toxic love. Read this series. You will not regret it!
“We were two missing pieces of the same soul, lost and misunderstood.”
I don’t know if any words I write will do this love story or even series justice. To even say that Broken Kingdom is phenomenal and superbly-written isn’t even enough … as it was both nothing and everything I expected and more. It’s an epic, unforgettable and meaningful masterpiece that swallows the heart and soul. This romance stole my breath and every beat of my heart as I felt it in my bones … becoming a part of me.
Broken Kingdom is the heart-thrashing tale of a tarnished hero and a heroine re-growing her wings to fly, two souls tethered together as they break and burn. Broken sees broken. Like sees like. Real sees real. Bianca and Oakley were created for each other with combustible chemistry and an undeniable, soul-deep connection.
The hero, Oakley, the all alpha hero with his dirty mouth, protective persona and huge heart was my undoing. The heroine, Bianca, is beautiful and feisty who fights hard and loves even harder. I was pretty much shouting, “Girl power!” when realizing the magnitude of her strength. I could instantly feel the deep connection of these characters. Their chemistry blazes and burns, so energizing and enticing, a pulse that pounds the pages. Bianca and Oakley possessed every part of me.
Brimming with rich character history, intense emotion, delicious darkness, combustible chemistry, and soul-deep love, Broken Kingdom is the headiest of heart-felt highs. Haunting, heroic, and heartbreakingly beautiful, this romance sank into my soul—thrusting my emotions on edge—as its pendulum-like push and pull annihilated me. My heart and soul shattered and soared for this hero, heroine, and their hard fought love story.
I loved this stunning, soulful story of sacrifice and second chances threaded with indestructible love. I burned and broke for this book that’s full of fire and feels: tragic yet beautiful … moving and meaningful … utterly breathtaking … and so unforgettable. Broken Kingdom is everything, a top 2023 and lifetime romance with all the Romeo and Juliet vibes.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ heartbreakingly beautiful stars but worth the entire universe
This book was brutal. I was so confused at the beginning, but man was it incredible. It’s safe to say Bianca wasn’t my favorite character in the beginning, but her story was beautifully written. I’m glad things worked out how I hoped they would, but the journey there was well worth it. This series was absolutely amazing, and probably one of my top favorites now.
i absolutely fell in love with this series and every single person in it 🥹 Every couple has my whole heart and i’m so sad it’s over.. I hated Bianca in the first two books but this book made me love her, she got her second chance to make everything she did right. AND OAKLEY! omg i’m obsessed with him he deserves everything good.
4.5 Long book but it was still a great read. Oakley is my favorite character however Bianca is not but I still loved their twisted spiraling ups and downs of a story.
This book made reading the rest of the series so worth it. The story progression... The jealousy, the protectiveness, the feels... THAT EXTENDED EPILOGUE 🥺
wasn’t the best book in the series but still enjoyed. have never really liked Bianca but it is hard not to feel bad for her. Stone is trash and so toxic. I hated their relationship from the beginning and it only got worse as the book went on. It was a little annoying how long we had to get in the book to find out what really happened but it was still a good read.
Bianca Covington hasn’t gotten her memories back since the accident - she has flashbacks / puzzle pieces but never the full story. She’s supposed to be free, but she feels caged.
OAKLEY FUCKING ZELENKA. (my husband) has always been the funny guy in the group. the one who loves to party, loves woman and sex, loves to smoke and drink his problems away. Suffering in silence. But he isn’t that person anymore, and he’s drowning in guilt and regret.
“She hurt me in ways she doesn’t remember, and i hurt her in ways I couldn’t forget.”
This book has ruined me in the best way possible. I have literally been an emotional mess from book 1 in this series, but this book hurt me. God I couldn’t wait to read Oakleys book, but I never expected them to be so broken. I genuinely just wanted to jump in the book and hug him, but unfortunately that wasn’t my job. That was Bianca’s job, even while he was being a jackass. But dude, he did some grovelling. Sleeping outside her bedroom door for three weeks. (3 weeks? UGH THINKING ABOUT HOW THE THREE WEEKS RELATES TO SOMETHING MAKES ME WANT TO CRY AGAIN.)
The characters felt so real in my head, the things they went through, I have been through (some) - and went through again with them.
Bianca’s feisty personality vanished for a while, but as soon as Oakley was back in her life, she was back to being herself. I loved that though. I loved how she felt comfortable to have her I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude with him again. And watching them fall in love was phenomenal.
This girl couldn’t be healed by love, she had to learn to love herself and love others around her again for her to have a happy ending. And I thought that was beautiful.
But dude, every time a “past” came up on my screen, my stomach was in knots. They’ve both been through so much and whenever I saw like the flashback, it made me want to cry because none of them deserved that.
I do have a question though, (hopefully might find out if I read all of this author’s books, this is the first series I have ever read from the author and it definitely won’t be the last.) ANYWAY. OF TRACK DUDE. I have a question. What happened to the shooter? I know loki is in prison, but what happened after … with Oakley’s dad?
The very honest and deep conversation between Bianca and Oakley was what I craved and needed in this book. In most books, when something or a series of events happen, the author sometimes forgets or doesn’t add a part where the characters actually have a meaningful heartfelt conversation about whatever, but THIS BOOK WAS PHENOMENAL. The communication - brilliant. The arguing and the tension - fucking delicious.
I tell you what, I hated Bianca during the first two books. Because I didn’t understand why she was so mean to everybody especially Dylan, but reading further through the series, you get to know her better and kinda understand why she does what she does.
Also in the office (don’t ask me what office, I can’t remember. all I remember is that his name was Dr…. something and his daughter was Hayley) when Bianca said what she said to that little girls dad, I knew from the beginning that it was foreshadowing to something deeper and darker… and let me tell you, you’re in for a surprise. My jaw dropped when I found out and I instantly felt sick. That poor little girl and her family. And also poor Bianca because she didn’t deserve that either.
OAKLEY -
oh his character growth was phenomenal. I felt lost when I didn’t see him in book two, and it kinda broke my heart but when I read his book, I understood why. All the pieces came together like a jigsaw puzzle.
HAHAHA I LOVED IT WHEN THEY WENT TO THE TATTOO SHOP IN COLE’S BOOK AND HE WAS GETTING HIS D PIERCED AND KEPT SCREAMING AT THE WOMAN TO GIVE HIM IN A MINUTE 😂
the amount of times this man had a seizure was unreal, and I felt so bad even though everyone around him knew what to do. And it genuinely felt like I knew this man in person because I started thinking to myself, “oh my god, what if he has a seizure while in prison? the officers won’t know what to do.”
I loved him. From the very start I loved him and I will never not love him. The way he was treated by that bitch C whatever the fuck she’s called, was horrendous and I hope she never gets custody of C.J. because she doesn’t deserve to be around children.
and to manipulate a teenager to think he’s in love with you? sad. I felt so sad for poor Oakley.
his temper? lovely. the way he punches (every single character punches) everyone who mistreats B is amazing. They have each others back from the start. It genuinely was beautiful to watch their love story unfold.
“Truth be told, it hurt after they ditched me. Way more than I thought it would.”
- fuck you Cole and Jace for that. He was just a boy. they all were.
THE PINKY PROMISES?? 🥺🥺
“Our love was more than words written on pages of a secret book. You saw something inside me no one else ever could. We were two missing pieces of the same soul, lost and misunderstood. I was too blind to see. Too stupid to realize it back then. But now, I would break myself. Just to make you whole again. And if wishes came true, it would be me and you for eternity. Because you are the one thing I can’t live without. So I will never stop trying. I will never stop fighting for you and me. I will never forget you. No matter how much it hurt me to.”
“If you tell me to let you go so you can move on and be happy with someone else…I will.” His expression turns hollow, as if the thought of me being with anyone else would destroy him. “It will hurt like hell, but I can do that for you…if that’s what you really want.”
UGH I LOVED IT.
my overall opinion…
this couple will forever be in my heart. I will never forget these two or this book—or series— and I will forever recommend this to anyone and everyone. It was beyond phenomenal and words can’t describe how much this book related and felt to me. I loved it. Thank you, Ashley Jade for writing such a beautiful story.
Ok so let me start off with this is a good read however I am left with so many questions. Like what happen to Angelica’s father? What even happened to Angelica herself? Why did Bianca never face her cheer squad after the scene in the bathroom? I know that they beat her up and she deserved that but something is just left unresolved there for me. What wedding dress did she end up with? When she married Oakley. I know these are not important questions as far as the story line goes but they are just unresolved in the story for me. Don’t get me wrong I loved the story I just feel like I was left with missing pieces to a vital puzzle. I don’t know maybe she has another story about Angelica and her father or these guys wedding. If so will someone please tell me where I can get the rest of the stories cause I would love to read the rest of it.
A story of loss, grief, addiction, friendships, love, devastation and hope. Ashley Jade knows exactly how to hurt and heal me.
"Because time doesn’t heal all wounds. It just leaves you with scars."
"Because she hurt me in ways she doesn’t remember… and I hurt her in ways I can’t forget."
This book now includes what was previously considered book 3 (Wicked Princess). Both books tell the story of Bianca and Oakley.
Because someone else’s love will never be enough to get rid of your pain when you can’t manage to love yourself.”
We know Oakley as the fun, drug and alcohol addicted best friend to Jace and Cole. He was always the life of the party and very self sabotaging.
"She ebbs when everyone else flows."
Bianca is the youngest Covington. Baby sister to Jace and Cole. We have been conditioned to hate her from books 1 and 2. Wicked Princess shows her in a new light due to her personality transplant. (I already ranted about this in my Wicked Princess review but as a recap: I felt like the amnesia trope in this series was used as an easy way to get readers to find her more redeemable). So Bianca was in a car accident - gets amnesia and doesn't remember anything since age 8 (when she was in the car accident with her mom and brother). Wicked Princess sets up these two books to be a love triangle trope because she falls for another boy (that WE ALL KNOW isn't end game anyway so the whole point is frustrating). I wish I could tell people to skip Wicked Princess because it seems like a complete waste of time but there is a lot of important back story in that book and shows how she got to the point she is in Broken Kingdom.
"Most of my life I’ve wanted to die…until Oakley made me feel alive."
The entire book flips back and forth between present and past. We slowly learn important details of Bianca's life as she is remembering them. Ashley tells the story in a way that we learn the past at critical points in Bianca's present.
Bianca and Oakley had a turbulent summer fling that turned into more before the car accident that resulted in her forgetting Oakley. Oakley has also been through EVERYTHING. He lost everything in his life: his love, his father, her friends, his freedom (for a short while), and all his coping mechanisms (drugs and alcohol). I felt so bad for him throughout the whole book.
I really enjoyed their love story and it was difficult to read at times. I found some of the end to be predictable while other things completing shocked me and left me with my jaw on the floor. There were moments that were very emotional and I *almost* cried (btw, I never cry at books). And then the very last paragraph of the book got me. Just completely WRECKED me. UGH!
Another really fun side note for Ashley Jade Super fans: we get some amazing cameos in this book: Landon, Asher, Kit, and Preston make a few appearances and it was so fun! (they are from the complicated hearts and parts series).
"I was too blind to see. Too stupid to realize it back then But now, I would break myself. Just to make you whole again."
Ashley Jade is a genius! Seriously, I do not know where to start. This book was such incredible storytelling! I absolutely loved the way readers were once again, able to revisit pivotal events in the Covington family's lives and have yet another layer revealed.
If you are reading this review to decide whether or not to start this series I am advising you to do it! Start at the beginning and just don't stop no matter what. If you are looking at these reviews to decide whether or not you want to keep going after reading the first two or the third I advise that you definitely do and here's why- Ashley Jade is not your average or run-of-the-mill romance writer. She sort of falls into a category all her own as far as the genre goes. I feel this way about all my favorites, they can be compared to other writers- you could make a venn diagram about what they master in their writing and what types of key things you will find in their works, but you could never compare them in a "rank them by best____" kind of way, because they are so unique in their talents. For anyone who does not know it already as one of my good friends has said, "This woman can WRITE!" and boy is that correct. This book is so well done! The timing of each new revelation of the forgotten past is always fitting for not only what is happening right beforehand but to keep the story moving and the pacing is done to perfection.
If you started the series expecting to see Bianca continue to be the scheming mean girl she had been, you will not get that here. What you will get is a more nuanced view about what you already discovered in Wicked Princess, and even more insight into how Bianca came to be the person she was before the accident, and you'll even get to see how she was changing and growing in the span of time since the events from Ruthless Knight left off. The journey is so worth it, and this story is woven together so intricately that it would be a shame to pass on reading this book or Bianca's book based on the negative reviews. This book is not for anyone who doesn't like some angst, emotional depth, character development- the good, bad and the ugly that comes from a flawed or damaged character getting a redemption arc, or a hard-fought HEA. If you don't like those you may want to avoid this whole series honestly, but if you do enjoy those things in your books- forge ahead! This is just way too good to do anything else!
I loved this book. Loved the entire series. Loved the drama. Seriously this series has made me cry more times over the past week than I thought possible.
However I have unanswered questions and comments.
1. I would like to know Dylan’s relationship with her aunt now. Like we didn’t hear much more about that after Cruel Prince and it would’ve been nice to see what it is like between them now since they were so close in book 1 (initially)
2. Hayley… that girl deserved more man. Like what a shitty plot she got. Don’t get me wrong, she wasn’t a perfect person. But I guess I just wanted to find out that maybe she was doing something bad or something she shouldn’t when the car accident happened so I feel less bad about her dying. Poor girl never had a chance at a good life. However one thing this series makes clear is that not everyone gets a happy ending. The main characters do because it’s romance. But it reminds us that we lose people. Or that people don’t get their HEA. It’s sad but let’s face it, it’s real. But Hayley growing up with that shithead father. Being mistreated by Oakley who she can’t get over. Blackmailed by Bianca who - let’s face it - manipulated her into the majority of those sexual situations, and then ultimately killed in a car accident at 21 and never having the chance of happiness? Fucking brutal. Liam’s life was also truly brutal…
3. Did we need the miscarriage story at the end? We go through all the drama and ordeal for Oak and Bianca to get together and then, hold one a minute.. here’s more! I think the ending would’ve been every bit as impactful without it. The book was too long. And this was one of the things I thought could be cut out.
4. Poor Nadia… in book 1 she’s called a whore and screamed at by Jace. By the beginning of this book it’s clear every still holds contempt around her etc. by the end it sounds like she’s just accepted and tolerated. But she genuinely didn’t do anything wrong and I just felt bad for her. Dad got a redemption arc in this book and I’d have loved a scene with Bianca and Nadie where they bond and Bianca resents her less for “taking her mums space”
The way this entire series has a chokehold on me. I guess I’ll just be over here reading anything Ashley Jade writes. I’ll start off by saying I HATE amnesia storylines. I won’t read them at all. I also make it a point not to read the blurbs of books in a series until I’m ready to read that book. So I finished books 1 and 2 and moved onto book 3, and I read the blurb and see that it’s amnesia. I almost didn’t read this. My love for Oakley convinced me to give it a try. And I knew in the first part that all wasn’t what it seemed, even though I read no spoilers or anything. I just knew this was Bianca and Oakley’s story. So I dived it. I still don’t love amnesia, I don’t like how it’s used to create mystery. It’s just not for me, and that’s ok. But it works for some! Anyways, I have a lot of feelings about Bianca. First being that there is a lot to unpack with people that hate Bianca but love Jace. They are the same person, and yet people love Jace and hate on Bianca. People are quick to forgive Jace, but not as quick to forgive Bianca. Myself included. Have had me in a clutch from the beginning, even through his terrible parts. Maybe it was my love for Dylan that made me not like Bianca? Who knows. But for Ashley to not only make me like post-amnesia Bianca but also pre-amnesia Bianca?? That’s some major writing there. The character development that happens for both Bianca and Oakley is fantastic. I’ve always loved Oakley, but didn’t take him seriously until his book. And I think that’s intentional by portraying Oakley as the stoner BFF who doesn’t give a lot of real emotions. He was the comedic relief. But there were hints of his deep ness throughout the series. It was just so well done. I think Ashley Jade does the romance genre a great service in making complicated characters and making these stories real. These are cute romcoms you’ll see on Hallmark. These are tough stories that toe the line of dark romance. These are characters with grit and not one of them is perfect. But we love them anyways.
Wow, what a perfect way to end the series! As I continued reading I was constantly kept on my toes and turning pages. It was just so hard to put the book down because I did not want but NEEDED to know what happen! Book 3 left me with so many questions, like where’s Oakley? What happened to him? But the big one was what happened on the day of the accident? And I finally get my questions answered, I was shocked to say the least. This story opened up to a lot of heavy topics that helped me understand the characters and what feelings they were going through. While I wasn’t the biggest Bianca fan in the first 2 books, after reading and understanding her character with the things she went through, I’ve grown to really like her and love how she grew and changed for the better! Since the first book, I absolutely adored Oakley! From his personality and just how much he cares about his friends and family I just couldn’t wait to read his story. Now, this just made me love him so much more! His character growth made me so proud of him because he matured so much and finally started opening up and letting people in. I couldn’t really imagine Bianca and Oakley together but after going back and forth from past and present chapters I was in so much aw and angst I just couldn’t take it anymore and needed them to get together again! I loved that they were constantly there encouraging each other and being a support person. Oakley finally finding himself and proving he is much more than what he thought he is capable of and Bianca learning to let go of her past that was keeping her from moving forward and just being happy. I also loved seeing more of Jace, Dylan, Cole and Sawyer as well. Their life and family relationship updates made me so happy! So many relationships were fixed from Oakley’s (his dad + adorable little sister) and the Covington’s (their dad). This warmed my heart because they were finally getting over all their past issues and mistakes and just being happily content. I absolutely loved the ending and the epilogue! I had teary eyes because everything just came together so perfectly that I was so sad to say goodbye! This entire series has easily became my all time favorite that I will love forever and ever!🤍
If I thought that Coles book broke me, this one shattered all the pieces of my heart and I didn’t know if it would ever be whole again. Ashley Jade has found a new fan in me. At first I was confused because this character came out of left field and I did not like them. Bianca is fierce. Even in her tragedy, she was still fierce. Her character grew LEAPS AND BOUNDS over the course of this one and I just kept rooting for her and wanting to yell at her that oh my gosh just do it already! If you know you know lol Oakley was just…. Ugh I hurt so bad for this kid. But he never gave up. He never stopped. Because a wise person once told him that all the best things were worth fighting for so he fought tooth and nail for his best thing. Even broken and defeated he still fought. I cried so much during this. I was screaming at the book and cursing the author like what the heck have you even done??? But oh my GOD this was the best one yet. And let me just say that a happy Cole is a funny dude and I LOVE his scenes here. I love all of their scenes. Except that one guy. I hated him from the start. If you know you know. I hate that this world is over. I loved every second of it and I wish I could have so much more. Them. Their kids. A next generation. Anything. I devoured these books in just a few days and I almost wished I could have read them slower and savored them more. I’m looking forward to see what else Mrs. Jade writes. And she’s got a fan for life.
👑 This book stole my heart. It stole my heart, ripped it to pieces, put it back together, shattered it and then put it all back together again. Oakley has been my favorite out of this series, so reading this series just 😩 I was so broken.
🧡 I devoured this book. Not only because of Oakley, but because of Bianca. I honestly did not like her whatsoever in the other books - she was god awful - but in this book she gets the redemption she deserved. Everything she goes through and the way she finds herself back to where she needs to be and who she wants and who she is meant to be just gets me.
👑 Oakley is so broken, everything he has been through and everything he was put through just my heart ached for him. He deserved being able to redeem himself and work on himself to get the love he so beautifully deserved.
🧡 I will say there are a couple of things that don’t seem to be resolved as far as side characters - however that didn’t deter me and didn’t take away from the story as those characters I don’t believe deserve any resolution.
👑 The last and final sentence in this book wrecked me. I sobbed. It was just beautiful. I definitely recommend this entire series. It was worth every single tear.
So I read all three books of royal hearts academy, and let me just tell you I’m obessed with Oakley!! He’s a guy that’s been through so damn much in his life, and he falls for the girl he’s not suppose to. Terrible things happen from one bad moment, and Oakley is forever changed. Bianca is the best friends little sister, she was a petty and jealous as hell of anyone who stood in her way of oak. Let me just Tell you, I would be terrified of this girl lol. There’s a lot that happens in this book. But watching the development of there relationship? It was worth it. I felt like Bianca uses some of her evil for a lot of good. She leans on oak, she knows she is safe with him. Stone? Let me have 2 mins with his stupid ass. I love this entire series but oak is my fav!! 🖤 thank you Ashley for writing such a great series!
“For what it’s worth, I wasn’t trying to upset you. I just wanted to make it clear that if he ever fucking hurts you…” “Well, let’s just say I’ve gone to jail once, and I’d gladly go back for you.” Little bit of touch her an 😵
“I don’t expect you to be anyone else but you, baby girl.” “I don’t even know what that means because I don’t know who I am.” Swooonnn 🥺
“But you can’t stick a girl like Bianca in a box for too long because sooner or later she’ll crawl her way out and make the world her bitch again.” 🫶🏻
“You want me to fight for you?” “No” “Why?” “Say it.” I can’t. I shouldn’t. “Say it” lBecause you’ll win.” 🥰
“Lie to yourself all you want, baby girl. But you can’t fucking lie to me.” “Because I fucking know you.” 💓

Oh my gosh I’m so emotional right now😭 Just finished this and damn… this book was a fucking rollercoaster through and through. Everything these characters went through jees but finally FINALLY getting happiness in the end was amazing.
I literally loved every couple but Bianca & Oakley take the number 1 spot😭 They were so fucking beautiful goshhh I cant🥺🥺 Every scene between them was chefs kiss, the angst was so good I cried in the past scenes and the present scenes , ah they were just verything, I could read anything of these two they completed each other in every single way possible. Both were so broken and always fighting the world and their grief alone and then found each other. I loved how obsessed Bianca was with oakley and their spicy scenes were so so good🤌🔥 The way they always put each other as NUMBER 1 WAS THE BEST THING EVER. They were literally perfect for each other.
I cannot even put into words how much I loved Oakley and my heart broke for him so much. This man deserves the world. It was so hard to read when everyone left him and then himself thinking he didn’t desrrve happines. But finally finding happiness with Bianca🥺🥺
I hated when Bianca blamed Dylan for Liam but when she finally apologized I was so happy and loved her so much. An amazing, strong, character.
I loved Dylan even more in this book because she always supported Oakley and never left him. Same with Sawyer🥺 My beautiful girls. I was so mad at cole & jace for leaving oskley but when they finally talked i was sobbing. They love each other so much. I love their friendships, also seeing cole & sawyer and thenjace and dylan happy made my heart full. I need a novella of all the couples together and happy because the pain and the angst these characters had to go through…
The thing with the Royal Hearts Academy series is that, when you start, you really want to hate all the Covingtons but as you get to know them and their walls come down, you can’t help but love them.
This last book focuses on Bianca or Baby Covington or Satan as she is sometimes known. After meeting her in the first two books, it was hard to imagine actually liking Bianca but after this book it’s incredibly hard not to.
The Covingtons have suffered more than their fair share of tragedy so it’s no wonder they decide to fight back against everything and everyone. However, it’s their love for each other and their eventual love interests that help them to get passed the pain.
In this book, Bianca’s love interest is the lovely but troubled, Oakley. His issues have been well covered since book 1, although things have gotten worse for him since the end of book 2. However, it became apparent what a lovely guy he was quite early on in the trilogy so it was satisfying to see him get is HEA alongside the Covingtons.
From book 2, I had a longing to see the characters from the Complicated Hearts / Complicated Parts books make an appearance so I was delighted when they finally popped up in this final book.
As with the other books in the RHA trilogy, this book is very much a rollercoaster, jammed packed with heart wrenching moments and some light hearted relief.
Another superb set of books from Ashley Jade that I would highly recommend.
Let’s address the elephant—or should I say, the punching bag—in the room: why is everyone in this series so violent? Every few pages, someone’s face is getting rearranged, and groins are being kicked.
Sixteen-year-olds with an Olympic-level mastery of dirty talk and bedroom acrobatics? Really? Meanwhile, the adults are busy earning gold medals in bad parenting—letting their kids have affairs with stepmoms and treating pills like they’re Skittles. Parenting goals FTW.
I came for Oakley’s story but instead got dragged into Bianca’s wild ride of a life. At first, I had hope. Post-accident Bianca seemed like she might finally evolve into a halfway decent human being. But nope! The more memories she recovered, the more she reminded us that she’s a spoiled brat with a black belt in manipulation. Honestly, Stone (certified POS though he may be) won the game by escaping her and her crazy AF family.
This series is the literary equivalent of watching a car crash (pun?)—it's horrifying and ridiculous, and yet you can’t look away. It starts with promise and ends with a giant, neon WTF. Somehow, I made it through the chaos, and while I may never get those hours back, at least I now have an answer to the question: How much dysfunction can one family pack into a single storyline? Answer: Too much.
I enjoyed this whole interconnected serie is of Royal hearts academy. Just gets better and better. Ashley writing is amazing. She has genesequa to her writing. The way she creates characters The chemistry between them and the stories that are being told about them. They don't all just come together in the right mix. I started reading this series of books during a book slump. I had been a fan of The Words and I had just finished The Choice. And I was just at a loss trying so many things and putting them down. And then I thought to myself why am I not trying more Ashley Jade. And I'm really glad I did each story is connected with the family but different characters and very different in general. And this one is no exception I really loved the way the story went. And the way they went with these two characters. I don't want to give too much away I think it's good going into it not knowing too much other than what you've already read of the series. I think you can read these books regardless but it's definitely best enjoyed if you read The other books in the interconnected series is there fantastic. This was a great conclusion to this series and I just look forward to everything Ashley writes.
"Alexa play Part II (On the Run)" MY GIRL BIANCA SAID "YOU AND I ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!" PERIOD!! I have been rooting for this couple since the beginning. I was a little struck when I thought she would end up with that DASILVA! NO NO NO NO!
I'm not gonna lie though, the spread out of Bianca getting her memories back made me want to eat drywall. It was absolute torture, but like I've said before I am a little tainted in the head. I welcomed the pain happily. Bianca and Oakley were meant to be and hell or high water, I'm all here for it. Oakley lived with his pain and didn't run from it like he usually did.
Even though Bianca was a MAJOR BITCH throughout the entire series, you could see her heart and been through a lot and her outlet meant pain for others "Hurt people hurt people" I will never forget what she said though, "A real bitch owns her shit" and that's what she did and continued to do.
I can say this though, this family gave me a migraine constantly. All the self-hate and self-destruction. I'm not happy the series is over but I am happy the Covingtons are in a better place with each other.
