Lama Muhammad MD is a Syrian American international author, human rights activist, and multi-specialties Physician.

She is the writer of Braids of Forbidden Trinity, which changed many views about the Middle East's conflicts. She has published nine other books in Arabic.

She introduces herself on her website, saying:

"I introduce myself and speak with you as a human being; I don't judge you by religion, color, gender, or nationality.

I care about whether you use your brain or not. Does the voice of your loved ones beat in your heart when your interest knocks on the door?! If so, is there a dwarf place in the crowd of your comrades for me and my words?"

My name is Lama; in Arabic means the gentle wind, the breeze, and titles mean nothing to me.

I believe in love and humanity, in our ability to start from zero again and again!

We are all the same; only two things make us different: how we treat others and our dreams.

Medicine is my profession; writing is my sanctuary and my way of trying to contribute to a better tomorrow.

Before you clash with my thoughts and my beliefs, please visit my page and get to know me.

Please note:
My virtual house has no place for any religious or nationalist fanatic. There is no place for those who classify people by belonging to a sect.

My house is not for the praise and worship of idols, nor is it for treason or insulting any human being. If you want to invalidate a word, discuss it and refute it, every insult to its owner is unreliable defamation.

Suppose you cannot accept a woman who rises above the common to what the brain and the heart suggest, then do not venture into my house and my life.".

I had never read a similar book before and couldn't put it down until I finished it. It is an extraordinary novel about Taboos and uniquely discusses mental illnesses.
