Bisous, Kate
Well the blurb says it’s a short read and it was not lying. This is extremely short. It reads in less than an hour and it is very light and fluffy. If you are looking for a sweet grumpy/sunshine age gap story, this will hit the spot. It’s very insta-love and the sex happens very fast, like really fast. Would have liked to have seen a bit more development of their relationship, even if it was told through flashbacks. Use of or talk of birth control was nonexistent, they just went for it bareback but otherwise this was cute and sweet.

I liked this little story. The short story is a different style from the novel, and a lot of writers do not appear to know the difference, but Ms. Hunt does. She excels at the short story.
This is about Daisy, who wants to become a social worker to help people, and Boone, her mailman. Boone is grumpy to everyone but for the past year, Daisy has grown on him. On roller skates, she rolls along with him on his appointed rounds during her work breaks. He is still grumpy but shows a good heart in interesting ways. He is concerned, for instance, when one of his regulars has allowed mail to pile up. She’s elderly and it’s unusual for her to leave mail in the mailbox. He goes to her door to find out if she’s OK. That is a kind soul, grumpy or not.
Daisy is about to be accepted into graduate school and Boone is conflicted. He is happy for her because it’s something she wants so deeply, but he does not want her to leave him. He’s waited a year before starting a relationship and he worries that he waited too long, and it is now too late.
Ms. Hunt does an excellent job with time in her short story. The relationship between Daisy and Boone developed slowly, over the course of a year, and we enter at the end of this year. We feel the slow burn that has been developing between the two main characters, for all that most of it happened before this story takes place. We feel the igniting of passion between the two and know that it is not insta-anything. It is a very real development in the lives of two extremely likeable people.
I rated this book 4 stars because it’s a very good read, well worth reading again. It’s short, sweet, gentle. It’s what I think love should look like. Well done…!
Boone is the local mail man and he is just a grumpy guy. He's not the mailman you talk to on a regular basis and enjoy seeing them. No Boone just drops off your mail and that is what it is, he gets in an out no funny business. That is till Daisy comes along skating into Boone's life. Daisy gets Boon a little out of his shell and gets him to smile. Boone may be a grump but he does care about people, he shows that by noticing the little old lady on his route has mail piling up and that never happens so they check on her. One day Boone's route gets changed up and he's now afraid he's never gonna see Daisy again, low and behold Daisy's house is on his new route. That is when he see's she is trying to get into grad school, which means she could be leaving. What happens when they admit feelings for one another? What happens when she does get into a college? What happens when he isn't a full time grump?
I adored this novella. It was fun and cute and simple light read. I really had fun with them and how grumpy Boone is. I really liked how Boone handled everything with Daisy and her wanting to go back to school.
Her Grumpy Mailman is the third book in The Man For Her series and this one had me laughing and smiling the whole way through. Even though Boone is an anti-social mailman, who has been doing the same route with some very social house owners, he finds himself listening for the tell-tale whooshing sound every day as he walks his route. That sound is made by the sweet, curvy and much younger on rollerskates, Daisy. Daisy is like her name, beautiful, sunshiny and sweet. But she also has a naughty side when it comes to the older, built and grumpy mailman, Boone. He may not be delivering her mail but she would not mind him delivering all the same. So when Boone is assigned to a different route he is more than upset and tries to stop the change. After all the new mailman who Daisy will find when she skates that day will be a man her own age. But lucky for Boone the new route puts him right at Daisy's door and the rest is a smexy fun HEA.
This short, sweet novella is perfect for the younger woman/older man trope. Daisy is an eternal optimist who gives, Boone, the grumpy mailman a happy spot on his daily route when she skates circles around him. On the day she receives a rejection to her graduate school application, she confides in Boone her disappointment. The next day he surprises her with floral arrangement to brighten her day, then asks her to skate along as he goes about his mail route. When they return to her house, he responds to her kiss and they are mutually drawn to each other’s arms and they wind up in bed. When Daisy receives acceptance in graduate school, Boone has some more surprises for her as they proceed to their HEA and their heartwarming epilogue.
I just loved this book! Boone and Daisy are the epitome of Grumpy/Sunshine trope. There also some age gap going on. Boone is a mailman who likes to keep to himself. Daisy will strike up a conversation with anyone. Daisy follows Boone around on his mail route while she skates. When they first met, both of them felt that special attraction. It takes them some time but they finally get their act together. This author is simply wonderful. I have enjoyed a few of her books and cannot wait for her next one!.

I really did enjoy the dynamic between the grumpy Boone & sunshiny Daisy! She was undeterred each day & roller skated along with him on his route. He never said much, but he learned so much about her. When his route is changed & the fear sets in that he has lost his chance with her, he wonders if there could have been something between them even though he is twelve yrs older. Luck for him, he sees her on his new route, sparks fly & the mailman realizes that he fell a long time ago! This story was a fast read, with bright shiny FMC who knew Boone was the man for her. It was sexy, steamy & sweet all wrapped in a fast read package!
I kind of loved this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a touch of steam. The characters were interesting and likable. Boone and Daisy had known each other for a while. They both had feelings for the other but neither had confessed how they felt. After Boone found out that Daisy had applied to go to graduate school, they started talking more. I loved the way their story ended. I recommend reading this book.

After DNF’ing a bunch of books this one actually retained my interest! A really cute and perfectly paced romance. 🥹🫡🧸🎉🧎🏻♀️
I loved the dynamic between Daisy and Boone. They complimented eachother and had natural graduation from strangs to aquintances to lovers. One thing that killed me was definitely his name 😂 I read it as “boon” but it could be “bone”. When the sex part comes along and she says his name it really busted my gut.
10/10 Summer days 🌞 10/10 Blue collared older men 💪🏼 10/10 Happy sunshine gal 🧸 10/10 Sweaty sex 💦
Boone, the local mailman, and Daisy are complete opposites. He tends to be grumpy, wanting to complete his route without interacting with anyone. Daisy is a ray of sunshine, speeding through the neighborhood on roller skates. She drives him crazy, but he is too old for her and doesn’t deserve her… he thinks. What will it take to make him tell her how he feels? Or will he let her go from his life completely because he is afraid to take a chance on love?
The third installment of Kate Hunt's The Man For Her series is the charming, grumpy man-sunshiny curvy girl age-gap romance, Her Grumpy Mailman. Boone's grouchy-yet-sexy mailman and Daisy's roller-skating bubbly grad student hopeful have off-the-charts chemistry from the very start, opposites who are intensely attracted. And their fast-paced, sweet and steamy short romance is a fun, entertaining read!

In this book we meet Daisy and Boome. These two have so much stacked against them can they get a HEA? We have Boone the sirly older man, and Daisy the woman who seems like a breath of fresh air.
Such a good story. There is so much I want to tell you but with it being short I don't want to ruin it for others. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I enjoyed this book a lot. You can see scowling Boone out doing his mail delivery and Daisy roller skating along with him. The description of the people on his delivery route and then his sadness because he was given a new delivery route. You could feel his pleasure finding out Daddy's house was on his new route. It was fun seeing them finally getting together. Read what goes on for them. It's a good book. Written by Cindy :)
It was okay. I didn't realise it was a short story when I downloaded it. I typically like to have a plotline along with the spice so this book didn't exactly do it for me. Grumpy sunshine is my favourite book trope but there was just something about it in this book that didn't work for me. Sam opinion as with the age gap trope, I usual enjoy it but in this book I couldn't stop imagining him being super old and I'm not sure why. Okay book but not for me
wow i wanted a quick story to read and this was definitely it. shortest book ever this is like a one shot. it was cute. very un realistic, he loves her after one night together and greg move together but that’s how a short book like this would be. i wish there was a little more tension between them but this was super good if your ever looking for a super short story to just read cause you don’t have time for a book
Daisy has been skating to meet Boone, more or less since she first saw him, he's a bit older than her but she likes trying to get him to chat. Boone has seen Daisy and would like to get to know her better, but feels he's too old for her.

Boone and Daisy met while she skated along the road where he is the mailman. Boone is older hot and a total grump. But Daisy fell hard for the grump and he for his little miss sunshine too. At first they were both to shy to act, now they finally got their chance and they got their HEA. Short, sweet, drama free, age gap story, instalove, romantic and safe with a great HEA 😍😍😍😍
I am a sucker for a good grumpy, with a secret heart of gold, sunshine romance. This one fit the bill perfectly. And it was a perfect length. It was enough to get a good idea of who these two are and what makes them tick. And enough of a look at what their future might be that you can really root for them.

Sweet Love ~ A sweet short story that’s just a happy read. It had just a whisper of drama, any more would have ruined her bubbly sweet roller skating fun. I like that she was bold enough to make the first move, more than once. He needed it. I liked that when he finally admitted his feelings for her, he was all in. Loved their epilogue!
I loved how these two characters are together. Great short read and very sweet for a quick morning read with coffee. Boone is great and I loved how Daisy is herself no matter what people think. I adored them both.
Boone and Daisy are day and night. Her bubbly chatter softens his hard heart. When Daisy is wheeling around with him he feels lighter but can such a young happy woman want an older surly man like him?
I enjoyed this short sweet romance novella. It was filled with the most loving two people that were made for each other. In the end what every romance💖 reader wants a HEA!
Have you ever been told a story by a 7 yo who was so eager they forgot to breathe to get it all out? This is a book version of that, but smut. There's no story. There's no development, there's no nothing... They know each other, they get together once, epilog... It takes about 30 minutes to read.
A cute story, and I would have loved a full length version - I feel like from the small taste of characters you get in this quick read, I'd love to know more. For a short story, I was expecting the spice to pack a bit more of a punch.
