Gregor’s book has it all: characters who have thrived after overcoming trauma, tight friendships and family connections, comic relief, vampires, billionaires, and steamy scenes between a dom who discovers his heart and a women willing to try new things.
The author took quite a leap when she paired Chloe with Gregor considering her background and his sexual preferences. I liked how Chloe was such a strong person to have overcome and thrived after such a brutal relationship. I loved Gregor's generosity and fierceness. I also loved some of the everyday moments such as the love surrounding the birth of Julia & Alex’s (the couple from the first book of the series) baby. And there are quite a few funny scenes, especially the blue unicorn and Boris the cat.
These books build on each other, so it’s nice to see characters from the first two books feature prominently in this book. Sergei plays an important, and at times hysterical, role here. It was also fun seeing Russia from both Chloe and Gregor’s viewpoints.
Gregor’s Reason left me smiling and feeling warm & fuzzy – it’s a wonderful book! The books in this series keep getting better and better. I’m already anxiously awaiting Sergei's story!
