I loved Tex, Bondo and their Navy SEAL brothers and can’t wait to read more! A sign of a good book is when you want the author to write faster, I’m now eagerly awaiting Bondo’s story 😍🥰

The story is as below, however, what you can’t get from the blurb is the feelings the storyline and characters give you.
This is a fast paced, action packed book, the attention to detail on each page had me engrossed, oh and did I mention one HOT Navy SEAL cowboy 🤠
Highly recommend if you like your romantic suspense with a military theme.

When I sat down with this book I had anticipated it would take a couple days to read as it was a new series with new characters and storyline. WOW was I wrong. As soon as I started this book I could not put it down and finished it in one night. This is a very solid first book for this new team. Starting with tragedy but with plenty of action and romance with a great HEA. Cannot wait for the next book to see what happens.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "Tex" (Seal Team East 1). This the start to a new series that hooks you from start to finish full of trauma, suspense, intrigue, angst, passion, danger, secrets, intense action packed drama, emotional turmoil, you can't put down.
Michael "Tex" Penn leader of Elite Action Seal Team known as GG Gold Guardians mission gone bad their US Navy Pilot Lt. Commander Jerry Reed was killed known as a National Hero to the Americans they will H*LL to pay for this.
Mary Reed is wife to Jerry & daughter of a very influential Senator with connections he'll do antpythibg for her she wants answers to what happened.
LT. Commander Nora Wilson is a lawyer JAG there to get answers from LT. Penn as to what happened but their Black OPS Missions are Top Secret Classified & the Seals take their secrets up the grave.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing on the edge of your seat action packed story so well written with fantastic characters will Nora & Tex get a HEA, will she get the answers she needs while finishing the mission with team.
I can't wait for the next book in this new phenominal series so looking forward to reading more so well worth the read you won't be disappointed. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!!

Wow, what a great start to this new series by this talented author.
This first book of SEAL Team East introduces us to Navy SEAL Tex/Michael Penn, and his team.
When a mission goes from bad to worse and a Navy pilot is killed, he and his team are put under investigation.
The wife of the pilot, daughter of a senator, wants answers as does the JAG officer, LT Nora Wilson.
But the Navy has classified the operation as Top Secret and very black ops.
With two strong willed characters in the form of Nora and Tex, a black ops, a return to foreign and of course an attraction between Nora and Tex, and you’ve got a story that will keep you on the edge of your seats from the first page to the last.
Once again, this author gives us a dynamic and intelligent female character as well as a hunky, alpha male character.
Can’t wait to read what else is in store in this series.

The first book in a whole new series from an author that really knows how to write a romantic military suspense and with this latest offering Zoe has really knocked it out of the park

I am a huge fan of Zoe Dawson’s military romantic suspense series. This is the first book in the Seal Team East series, and it was a good start though I have some misgivings. As with all the main characters in her stories, the accomplished SEALS carry “baggage” from their personal lives, which adds a human element to these otherwise elite warriors. Also, their love interests are not exempt from personal struggles either. Committed relationships are challenging for numerous obvious reasons.
Lt. Michael “Tex” Penn and Lt. Nora Wilson JAG must work through and overcome the fear of losing each other to death due to the risky missions the SEALS undertake. In this story, the action packed mission was not as well written as many of her other books. The scenarios and decision making were questionable, in my opinion. Not as believable as I would have liked to see.
My biggest problem and pet peeve with this genre is when the men lose focus on the dangerous task at hand only to fill their brains with lust. REALLY??
Zoe Dawson did redeem herself with adding teachable moments and profound life lessons which made for great takeaways.,
All in all, I liked the strong female characters and I’m looking forward to Bondo’s book next up. The brotherhood bantering is always a treat too in this genre and Ms. Dawson executed this writing well.

Oh wow, the first book in this new series is absolutely outstanding, how does this author surpass herself with each successive book? Tex is the leader in charge of a team of SEAL’s who had to return to base in the middle of a black op mission due to the death in action of an embedded team member vital to the mission. The team members widow, daughter of an influential Senator, wants answers as to how and why her husband was killed, information which will not under any circumstances be divulged. JAG Lt Nora Wilson and her colleague are tasked to investigate, and Tex and Nora butt heads when Tex refuses to give her any details - however, on a personal basis, their attraction to one another is immediate and intense and just keeps getting stronger. This is a fast paced, well written, action filled book, which had me hooked from the start, I thoroughly recommend it. I am so looking forward to the next in the series, about Bondo, Tex’s second in command, he was a key character in this book and I look forward to discovering more about him.

This was a great start to a new series for this author. I wasn't sure if I wanted to start this one, but I am glad that I did. The story was well done and the suspense aspect was gripping. The strongest part of the story though was the pilot's widow. Her grief absolutely leapt off the page at the reader. You can feel her despair and loss and can grieve with her throughout the book. She was by far the most memorable character in the book.

Zoe Dawson did an incredible job with the first book in this series. From the first page of this novel she included tragedy, loss, danger, honor, loyalty, pass traumas, steamy romance, and gorgeous Navy Seals. I loved the two main characters, Tex and Nora. So looking forward to the books about the rest of this Seal team.

Zoe Dawson has given us an exciting new series so full of intrigue, suspense, danger annd passion. As usual there are plenty of twists in this store that you can't put this book. When Navy Pilot Lt. Commander Jerry Reed is killed in action his wife Mary Reed is wants answers to what happened to her husband, Michael" TEX" Penn is in hot water when this mission goes wrong and he is being investigated.
To get the answers LT. Commander Nora Wilson from JAG is Tex's lawyer, blocked at every turn as this was a Top Secret Classified Black Ops Mission. So much action fills these pages you must read this intensely exciting story that won't disappoint you .
I recommend Zoe's books to everyone they are well written engrossing stories that always on the edge of your seat.
