Whew!!! 5 Stars!!!

This was so worth the wait!
When I say I was mad at Brianna, I mean I was fit to be tied. Ike was everything good about starting fresh with someone that sees and reveres your spirit. They were truly both stuck between a rock and a hard place and their situation was definitely not an easy one to navigate. However, Honesty Price tackled these serious issues with as much gravity, love, devotion, forgiveness and comedy it deserved. I was rooting for Ike, then I was rooting for Bri. I was never rooting for Shonda though, God is still working on me. And Eddie...well Eddie can kick rocks with his bare feet. I absolutely loved this journey and am so happy that Bri and Ike found their way back to one another.
Bravo, HP, Bravo!!!

Fixing Us Is Never Easy

There were so many dynamics to the healing that came at the cost of much hurt. So much truth poured from these pages that could easily provide comfort and or explanation. Book 3 ended having me hot as fish grease... cuz NOBODY just burned a hole in my heart. No matter how much Ike tried, he couldn't win. His season of tribulation lasted longer than I'm sure he'd prefer, but I'm so proud of him for making it through happier, restored, and at peace. The circumstances in which they finally came to be may not have been ideal, but when life happens, what do you do? Bri made me ease up on my disdain for her and she's just a little redeemed... lol Shonda... my heart grieves for her. Allison is definitely me and I am she, most days... lol I absolutely love how she held it down. Honesty did an outstanding job giving us the closure we needed! 💯

Just... Wow!

I was not expecting this at all. This Phillips story took a lot of storytelling to unleash this emotional tale. Nobody knows what kinds of pressure a family goes through with loved ones with mental health issues. Nobody understands the complexity of the problems unless they are in the trenches too. The author did a great job telling us a love story with family issues, broken promises, and a chance for redemption. Isaiah deserved an opportunity to have a relationship without stress, and Bri needed the same. The problem with their happily ever after included Isaiah's ex-wife and Bri's husband and also the family issues on both sides. The lighthearted parts with Bri and Isaiah are the best times in the story. I was so happy when Isaiah gave Bri a second chance. I recommend this story. 4.8 Stars....

It had to gather myself and my thoughts because I was noottt ready for Fixing Us to end. This was the redemption that I needed for that nobody that left me gutted for months. Honesty Price was most definitely in her bag with this one! This is absolutely going on my list of all-time favorites. I thoroughly enjoyed the begging that Bri had to do to get back in Ike's good graces. She needed to suffer a little before he allowed her back in. Listen that comedy!!!! I was hollering with Allison and her shenanigans, those play lines just to meet lil ol Ike that Rose had the Phillips doing 😂! But please, dont take my word for it!

Amazing ending to the love story!

I was two seconds from flying to find Honesty after the way she left us hanging in Finding Us, but she redeemed herself with this sequel. Ike and Bri’s love and journey was far from conventional. No matter how you slice it, no one can understand what they endured as spouses to partners with mental illness. Everyone silently, and not so silently, judged their love but they gave all they had and didn’t have to be great partners to spouses who couldn’t receive it, to no fault of their own. I still think Eddie getting his ass beat would have made this book fire, but I’ll let Honesty live for not giving me that moment.

How can you mend a broken heart?

The conclusion to Ike and Bri’s unconventional, gut-wrenching pairing picked right back up where Finding us (Part 1) left off. And let’s just say “Nobody” most definitely felt a way about being handled in a manner that was disrespectful to say the least! If you’ve already read part 1 and felt like HP drove you off a cliff and left you hanging, part 2 will leave you full and complete because you will absolutely survive the fall! As heavy as the journey is in this series, the saving grace is Honesty’s humor and timing. And the balance will see you through to the end.

Definitely 5⭐

This was well worth the wait! Ike & Bri had me vexed with that "Nobody" bs. They both needed to clear that up expeditiously! Even though Shonda wants us to believe that Ike had a full on affair while she was sick; that marriage was dead before Bri came on the scene. As far as Eddie slick conniving 🐎, I think he wanted Shonda for himself all along. Good riddance to them both! Allison will always be my favorite. You never know which personality will show up 😂. I'm ready for Allison & Richard's story.

Redemption

Wow!! What a book. I wasn’t sure how they would come back together, but can I say I just love Ike.

Although this is a subject I’m not familiar with at all, it was so therapeutic. The relationship definitely did start the way one should, but the love was so palpable it nearly made me tear up.

The book was so well written that you could feel the emotions coming off the pages.

Please do yourself a favor and read this series. You won’t regret it.

Brava Honesty, Brava👏🏽👏🏽

I now need therapy

This book was SO GOOD! I have too many feelings that I need to work through, it should come with complementary therapy sessions. Ms. Price kept the drama, hilarity, pain, and healing at full throttle throughout this story, and I’m not upset about it.

Ike and Briana got their happily ever after, but the amount of heartbreak they had to endure and sheer will they had to muster to get there is what makes this story so beautiful.

Five stars, no question.

I’m hooked!

I have read every book in this series. Each book is better than the last.

Ike and Bri’s love story is complicated, raw, slow paced, but WOW is it a wonderfully beautiful journey.

The way this author infuses humor and grace into their love story and intertwines the Phillips family to this new extended family is the payoff when you read this book.

I hope there’s another story in the series.

When I tell you this book did it all! I mean it. I first wanna thank Ms Price for "making me" read the entire series, I loved every word. I think this book was the Best one. Isaiah and Bri came a long way. I'm proud of the journey they came thru, they needed it. These characters were so real and feelable . I know that's not a word but that's all I got lol. Thank you so much for this roler coaster ride ❤️

Like, wait, WHAT?!?!

I don’t know how I want to feel right now… Like, there are so many people I want to fight right now. Surprisingly, Richard isn’t one of them. And the person I’ve wanted to box hopped around like a little girl playing hopscotch. I guess all I can say is I’m glad they got their HEA and the shock of the Phillips family’s support in the end.

The conclusion that was very necessary

Seeing the growth in not just characters, but the author as well was awe inspiring. Ike and Bri experienced non typical relationship challenges in their situationship, but came out on the other side it whole. They absolutely deserved their happy ending.

Nobody….

The way book 3 ended had me on edge so it was only fitting that they fixed the mess they had us witness. I enjoyed this book because it took us from the high to the low to the high again. Who wants that perfect love story anyway?

Absolutely in love with Bri and Ike

This story had all the feels. Humor, love, heartache, mental health, family drama and a roller coaster of emotions. But it was so beautifully done. I truly enjoyed this and look forward for your upcoming projects.

This was sooooooo good! Ike & Bri had me cracking up so much! I don’t get me wrong I shed a tear or two in the beginning but overall this love story is just as sweet as it was in Finding Us. I’m glad they were able to fix it!
