The Terminus doesn’t exist. That’s what the Arcane Congress would have you believe.
In truth, it’s the final resting place for beings the Arcane Congress deems too dangerous to exist. Those they can’t kill for fear of judgement and repercussions.
Warlocks, sorcerers, and supernatural beings who have strayed into the mortal realm. The Terminus doesn’t discriminate, it takes all, and those who pass its gates are never seen again.
Located on a remote island and guarded by deadly sentinels it is impregnable.
And breaking into it is the only way I’ll ever be free of the Summer Queen.
Join Kasey Chase in this action-packed heist that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

Exciting and full of action. There’s never a dull moment with this world and all the series connected to it. I enjoyed the peek into the Fae and what’s going to happen next and how that’ll impact the other interconnected world. I can’t wait to see where things go from here.
Ok, book lovers, here’s another one that I missed this year from SC Stokes
If you love urban fantasy with a dash of romance, you'll want to check out book 11, "Death Sentence" of the Conjuring a Coroner Series, which came out earlier this year, but due to working on my son’s medical problems, I missed it. Today, I am catching up some more, and you are in for an exciting treat.
Kasey has a lot on her plate: her boyfriend, Noah, is the leader of the ADI, a secret organization that deals with supernatural threats, and they both owe a favor to the Summer Court that has put them both in danger. The Summer Queen wants him to retrieve something from The Terminus, a prison for the most powerful and evil beings in existence. Sounds like a suicide mission, right?
But before they can even attempt that, Kasey gets involved in another mystery: her friend Bishop asks for her help with a strange case that seems to be connected to Noah. And then she gets attacked by a mysterious enemy who won't stop until she's dead. Who is behind all this? And what does it have to do with Noah's past? Kasey and Noah have to fight for their lives as they face enemies from both worlds. Will they survive and complete the task for the Summer Queen? Or will they fall victim to a death sentence?
This book was amazing! I couldn't put it down. The action, the suspense, the romance, the humor, everything was perfect. The characters are so well-written and relatable, and the plot is full of twists and turns. I loved how Kasey and Noah's relationship developed and how they supported each other through thick and thin. But what does the future hold for them???
If you haven't read this series yet, you're missing out. It's one of the best urban fantasy series out there, with a unique magic system, a fascinating world-building, and a diverse cast of characters. You can start with Book 1, "Dying to Meet You," or jump right into Book 11, "Death Sentence". Either way, you won't regret it.
Death Sentence is book 11 in the action packed urban fantasy series Conjuring a Coroner from S.C. Stokes with Kacey Chase, and Sanders in the forefront this time and wait until you see where they are going. Bishop has pulled Kasey in on another case this time, a huge hole is going into NY city hall but why, who and what the heck did they want? As she questions the usual suspects, she finds no answers but is concerned with Sanders and where has he gone to. The Summer Queen, fae, Marion Strang, ADI, the Arcane Congress and so many more are involved in this capper. As Kasey puts two and two together the story quickly unfolds, and she is taken on a far reaching trek but as we know the journey is half the fun. This is urban fantasy at its best.
Is there a place for those too dangerous for our world? The Arcane Congress says yes! For reasons of her own, Kasey Chase must go there. However, if she does, is it possible that she can even return? This is a thrilling tale, cleverly written, daring and fast paced edge of your seat reading. With unforgettable characters, especially Kasey! So, if you are looking for an adrenaline rush, this is it! This book is captivating and entertaining!
Kasey is back and prison seems to be the theme for this story and it was a fun and entertaining read. Fast paced, easy to read and entertaining to see what Kasey stumbles into, OK ends up in the middle of, and how she gets out of it. My favorite characters pop in as Kasey does her best to figure things out and survive what she must deal with. Lots of great scenes and fun had by all. Laughed as always.
Crazy Kasey Adventure! The wonderful characters, Kasey and Sanders are back. This time, doing a favor for the Summer Queen. In this very unpredictable, great adventure, they face dangers no one is meant to face, all so they can be free from the Summer Queen. Great story, wonderful world building, waiting for the next book in this original epic saga.
Kasey and Saunders attempt to fulfil their oaths to the Summer Queen. What is the mysterious object that she wants? There is lots of action. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. I did not see this end coming! Can’t wait for the next book. Note: there are a few instances of sweating. I received a free copy of this nook, with no obligation.
Book eleven of the Conjuring a Coroner series was an entertaining and enjoyable read. Every time Kasey thinks she has things sorted, another disaster or threat rears its head. How will they deal with Methuselah and Eternity, not to mention the Sidhe war. I look forward to reading book twelve.
Stokes does such a good job of pulling me into his stories and this one is no exception. Kasey’s story is off and running from the first chapter. Trying to take control of her and Saunders lives she’s dealing with very bad guys and gals from Hades to Winter and Summer courts. Enjoy the fun!
Kasey is out of her depth in this story. She faces things that she has no way of overcoming but with the help of others all ends as well as can be expected. I enjoyed reading this book.
I have inhaled this series. Kasey and her cast of sidekicks just flow from one adventure to the next. I cannot wait for book 12. S C Stones knows how to keep you coming back for more.
They tell you the Terminus doesn’t exist, or so they say. It’s really for the unwanted. Intriguing story with great characters that keep you involved. Another great book in the series.
Wonderful writing and characters/plot lines.....You should know this series, but this newest novel is satisfying and entertaining.Reward yourself by starting from the beginning...
Another outstanding piece from the the pen of Samuel. I simply LOVE these Kasey Chase books. It’s such an adrenaline rush. I love it. No spoilers simply a fantastic fantasy adventure, second to none. You can’t fail to fall in love with her and her quest. Long May she reign. Already looking forward to the next book.!!!
