The Daxon Brothers all have day jobs. At night, they’re escorts. But a different kind of escort. They work with a local domestic abuse center. Like a thief in the night. They steal battered women from their abusers. It’s not an easy job. And sometimes not legal. Still, they made an oath. Never leave a woman behind.

HER ESCORT is the second instalment in Kelly Gendron’s contemporary, adult A DIFFERENT KIND OF ESCORT SERVICE erotic, romance suspense series focusing on the Daxon brothers. This is twenty-nine year old construction worker Cole Daxon, and twenty-seven year old, social worker Harper James’ story line. HER ESCORT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise including domestic abuse, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
SOME BACKGROUND: After living a life witnessing the abuse of their mother, Brett, Cole and Lix Daxon work for an organization that rescues women from abusive situations.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Cole and Harper) HER ESCORT follows in the wake of another case of domestic abuse, a case wherein Cole Daxon is called into help but the principle person taking charge is not the woman Cole expected but the woman’s niece Harper James, a woman’s whose need to help is about to spiral out of control. Struggling with the fall-out of her first case, Harper finds herself a target, a target of a man determined to get revenge for the perceived interference in his life. Forced to stay with our story line hero, Harper struggles with her attraction to Cole Daxon, a man whose own demons runs dangerous and dark. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Harper and Cole, and the potential fall-out as no good deed goes unpunished, and our heroine is once again facing the demons from her past.
Harper James is a woman with secrets but refuses to acknowledge what happened or why. Holding onto the past means Harper is unable to let go, and Cole suspects Harper’s secrets continue to push at our heroine’s heart. Cole Daxon knows all too well the darkness that surrounds domestic abuse, and with it, the ghosts that refuse to give up and walk away. Keeping his own secrets close to his heart means having to let go if he wants to move on from the past.
The relationship between Harper and Cole is one of immediate attraction but our couple are in the business of saving every one else. Harper has a habit of running when her life becomes overwhelming, and in this Cole fears that Harper may run and never come back. Living together in the face of threats against our story line heroine forces our couple to admit the truth, a truth in which Cole is falling for a woman who refuses to let go. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The secondary and supporting characters include several victims and survivors of domestic abuse, Officer Starr, and Lisa, a young woman who works at the crisis center. We are reintroduced to Cole’s brothers Felix aka Lix, Brett and his girlfriend Cassie, as well as their mother, a woman who is paying for the sins of the past, and Willa, the woman who runs the service helping women in abusive situations.
HER ESCORT is another story of abuse and survival, power and control, acceptance and moving forward, love and understanding. The premise is tragic and dramatic; the characters are broken but healing and moving forward; the romance is passionate, forgiving and energetic.
This is book two in the A Different Kind of Escort Service and it was a winner yet again. This was Cole and Harpers story and really a rollercoaster ride with everything happening. When Harpers’ aunt needs surgery its Harper who steps up to help out women who need rescuing and is she ever surprised to see that it is Cole who shows up as the hero in this situation. They both are guarding themselves but Cole knows that Harper is worth the wait.
This is such a unique series and I love the idea of these brothers who help out abused woman on the side. I have loved this author’s work with her writing style always knowing how to make me “feel” for the men she writes about and the women they love. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

This book was completely different from My Escort, Harper & Cole have a slightly simpler love story, much more fun and full of secrets that make Her Escort much more interesting & entertaining, as well as showing a different side of the Ecorts Service which I really enjoyed reading and it shows that this series just keeps getting better with every Daxon sibling that Kelly Gendron present us.
Although Lix is my favorite of the Daxon brothers, Cole also stole my heart a little bit in My Escort with the cute friendship he formed with Cassie, so I really wanted to read him but I didn't really know what to expect from his character so it was a very pleasant surprise to read him as a mature & kind guy, with a protective, honest and very tender side. His personal story also took me by surprise, it really broke my heart, and I think the only thing I didn't really like about the book, and kept me from giving it five stars, was the way Cole downplayed what Miranda did to him, I think it should have been treated a little more carefully from his point of view, although I liked that Harper gave it a lot more importance.
She stole my heart right away! she's a wounded, traumatized girl who has withdrawn from the world to protect herself, yet she is kind, understanding and wants to help people. Harper's personality is totally sassy, flirtatious and I love the way she puts Cole in one sticky situation after another, and on top of all that, her family story is tragic, mysterious and full of secrets.
Cole & Harper's paths come together thanks to destiny and everything is very funny between them from their first meeting, which also complicates their relationship a bit at the beginning and makes everything moves slowly between them, BUT I think that's what I liked the most about this book: because Cole & Harper are forced to trust each other, spend time together and learn each other's deepest fears and secrets. I loved reading Cole pretending that he couldn't stand Harper, but always being there for her when the most complicated moments arose, being the most tender, understanding and patient with her at all times, but also fighting to make her see how important she is to him.

This is the second book in the series and follows Cole. Cole was amazing! He is so protective and kind to Harper. With his past he was forced to grow up fast and is now helping others. Harper was such a sassy but scared character. I loved her! This poor girl just can’t catch a break. She has one thing after another happening to her. She does not open up and has built a wall around herself that can’t be broken.
Cole and his brothers have had a bad childhood and know firsthand about abuse with what their mom went through. So, they took an oath to always save women who are being abused no matter the cost. Harper is Willow’s cousin from book one. She is found battered and traumatized. The minute Cole sees her he is drawn to her and knows he must proceed cautiously with everything she has been through.
This is the 2nd book in this series, and this is Cole and Harper’s story. In this story we get a better background about the Daxon brothers, and how their mom was treated, which has made them the heroes they are now. These brothers all have day jobs, and by night they are escorts with a difference, as they rescue women from their abusers. Harper is Willa’s niece, and she is traumatised and wounded, but she is understanding and caring, and she wants to help others. This is a well written story which is fun, and with family, friendships, loyalty, secrets, intrigue, emotions, mystery, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the second book of the trilogy and is Cole's story. Cole works with his brothers in construction and also in the service of victims of abuse. His work brings Harper into his life. Her combination of vulnerability and feistiness works well, though, as with the first book of the series, the back and forth between these two can sometimes feel over extended. The plot is stronger than the first book, but I still struggled with immersion in the story. Again, however, a good read. 💖💖💖💖
The concept behind this series is very fresh and intriguing and I am really enjoying reading each of the Daxon brother's books. This book gives us Cole and Harper's story. I really liked Cole, but I was not a huge Harper fan. It was a very good read with a solid blend of emotion, drama, heat, heart and suspense that kept me interested and invested. I am very eager to read Lix's story. This is my candid, elective review.
This is the second book in the series and for best enjoyment I believe they should be read in order. The Daxon brothers all have day jobs but at night they help battered women escape their abusers. This is Cole and Harpers story and it is fast-paced with plenty of emotion and drama. The characters have lots of depth and the story draws you in from beginning to end. I loved it.
I thought this was such an emotional read. I did have to laugh at Cole and Harper’s meet cute as Harper is sassy and bold, but quite vulnerable. Cole is totally swoon-worthy as he is strong, brave and compassionate. This novel was sweet yet sad as they deal with the jobs they encounter but the result is so worth it.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
Her Escort is the second book in the A Different Kind of Escort Service series. This series centers around the Daxon brothers: Brett, Cole and (Fe)Lix. During the day they work as contractors and at night they work as escorts, but as the series title alludes, they're a different type of escort. When they get a call, they promptly head over to the provided address to escort the "Julia" away from their abuser, and bring them to "Jane" (aka Willa) to get them started on the help they need.
This book centers around Cole Daxon and Harper Lydia James. Harper is Willa's niece. She returns to Florida when her aunt Willa needs surgery and someone needs to step in as Jane. She's a licensed social worker with a passion for helping others. Even though she hasn't worked with abuse survivors, she is well suited to lend a hand while her aunt recuperates.
Cole and Harper cross paths unexpectedly at a coffee shop before they officially meet. Their first interaction was less than ideal, but it was definitely a memorable one. When they officially meet later and realize they need to work together, there's some tension along with a healthy dose of attraction.
Yeah, I can't get that perplexing, ambiguous, frustratingly gorgeous man, put soundly together by muscles and tattoos, out of my head. From the twinkle in his shaded eyes to the sexy twitch in his flirtatious smile. Not to mention, his dedication, like my aunt's, to helping these women astonishes me. I don't know if I want to praise him or strip him free of his clothes and do nasty things to his indestructible body and thought-provoking attitude. He's irritating and not just to my sex-deprived body. He boggles my brain.
When one of the abusers shows up outside Harper's door with a knife, her aunt requests that she stay with the Daxon brothers until he is apprehended and her safety assured. Cue the forced proximity trope.
Harper is more than happy to take action to eliminate their sexual tension, but all she is offering is her body. Her heart has been broken too many times in the past, and she isn't prepared to open herself up to more pain. She's certain one more heartache will destroy her plus she's sworn off heroes.
A broken heart will do that to you. It's what happens when you fall for a hero. I'll never do that again. No more heroes for this girl.
Cole has never pictured himself with anyone. He enjoys the physical pleasures life has to offer, but relationships haven't been on the table given his work as an escort. But there's something about Harper, and he's prepared to wait to connect with her physically.
I promised myself I wouldn't surrender to what I feel for Harper James. Not until I know her story. Because until that happens, we can't start a new one together.
Something has hurt her. Someone. And until I hurdle the truth, I refuse to let us be about sex. I refuse to be a distraction for her. A replacement for her pain. She needs to deal with her past so she can move on with her future. And if I have anything to do with it, it will be with me.
As they spend more time together, they learn to open up and reveal the pieces of themselves they've kept hidden for so long. Watching them overcome their own mental hurdles and open their hearts was beautiful. We learn more about Cole's story and why he does what he does. His why, while being similar to his older brother Brett, is still his own.
Like the first book, this one delves into the topic of domestic abuse. We see how every situation is unique. Some of the Julias have returned to their abusers. Some of them have children. Some of them aren't ready to leave. Some of them aren't abused by a spouse/partner. And it is important to remember that some of the Julias might be Jules. Abuse tends to be about power and control, and that isn't something that is limited by gender. The subject matter is complex, and I have a great deal of respect for Gendron trying to bring awareness without judgement.
I enjoyed Her Escort and look forward to reading the third, and likely final book, in this series - The Escort. It will tell Lix's story, and hopefully he too will get a happy ending.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
The Daxon Brothers all have day jobs. At night, they're escorts. But a different kind of escort. They work with a local domestic abuse center. Like a thief in the night they steal battered women from their abusers. It's not an easy job. And sometimes not legal. Still, they made an oath. Never leave a woman behind. is her story. We all have our stories. I need to know hers.
This is the story of Cole and Harper. I have to warn you that this book might contains some triggers for some readers because of the abuse in it. You need to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. The Daxon brothers have a mission in life and if they have to set it up as a Escort Service to get the job done then so be it. What they do isn't always legal but these brothers know all about abuse from growing up and what their mom has gone through. This lead to the oath that they would save abused women from their abusers no matter the cost to them. Harper is one of those women they vowed to rescue and if you have read the first book you will be aware of who Willow is but Harper is her cousin and she is found traumatized and injured. Cole is drawn to her and he knows that he has to know more about her but also knows that this is a woman who has lived through some of the worst things imaginable and he has to tread lightly. There is a lot going on in this book that keeps it flying by and I loved getting to know Harper and seeing her heart for others and helping them too. This is for sure a different kind of read than I have read before and I loved reading it. I loved Cole and Harper and the story they had to tell. I can't wait to see what the next book brings. This book does not end on a cliffhanger. Each book is about a different brother and the woman they find themselves attracted to.
The storyline is at the very least novel and worth exploring in more books in the future. I tend to lean towards darker stories, so I am not unfamiliar with the trafficking victim storyline, but I like how this one takes a different angle. I wasn’t always sold on the relationship between Harper and Cole, but it is written well, and it’s a genuinely interesting storyline.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.
1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

HER ESCORT is the second in the series A Different Kind Of Escort. Once again Kelly Gendron has written a captivating, suspenseful story. This is a more emotional read than the first book, My Escort, enabling a deeper understanding of the characters.
Cole Daxon is the middle of the three Daxon brothers, a construction worker by trade he's also helping with the escort service. He often comes across as a thinker, a protector, a carer, and more mature than his siblings. There is so much more to Cole than what you see, his backstory is absolutely heartbreaking. Harper James is a social worker and Willa's niece. She steps into Willa's role with the service when Willa has surgery and is required to rest. Harper is a breath of fresh air, she's sassy and flirty, yet she is also broken and traumatized by her past. She's extremely empathetic and understanding and just wants to help those who need it.
Cole and Harper were perfectly matched. Even though their first meeting was quite amusing, their second was the polar opposite, as it was under extreme circumstances. Yes, there was a strong attraction between them, I loved that their relationship evolved over time, there was no rushing into anything. Cole's pretense of not liking Harper was amusing, especially when he always seemed to be there when she needed him, his patience with her had no limits.
Another wonderful story from Kelly. I love that she writes about strong women and the men who fall for them. Next up is The Escort, Felix's story, and this is the one I am really looking forward to.
I want to mention first that this book isn’t for everyone. There are lots of triggering topics that although Kelly Gendron has written them with poise and heart, are tough to digest.
Although this book is apart of a series, with each book revolving around one of three Daxon Brothers it can be read as a standalone, which is what I did. Some of the sideline characters had things mentioned that would have been in the first book My Escort but other than that it was a smooth read.
With that said Her Escort is touching story of how people cope and survive traumatic things they went through especially at a young age. Both Cole & Harper have their secrets.
COLE DAXON - He is Kind & Honest, Brave & Protective, and very determined. - Is ready to share his past/secrets with the right person, and Harper is just that, His person . - Does what he does because he himself has experienced the unthinkable at such a young age, having to grow up fast.
HARPER JAMES - She is Sassy & Flirtatious, Wounded & Scared, Caring & Understanding. - A lot more reserved than Cole when it comes to opening up. She has built an almost impenetrable wall around herself. - She has had one thing after another happen to her. And copes but shielding her heart.
I LOVE Cole and Harper. I was way too emotionally invested, and the duel POV is one of the best I’ve come across.

This is the second book in the A Different Kind of Escort Service series, but it can be read as a standalone. However, events do pick up right where the first book left off, so reading it first will be a better reading experience.
Cole Daxon is the second Daxon brother. He is 29, and he’s the middle brother. He’s the more calm brother and somewhat acts as a mediator between Brett and Lix when tensions get too high. Cole kind of seems to be in control of his emotions, so when Harper James (27) shows up to work with him for the escort service, he’s a bit thrown off.
Harper is the niece of the woman who usually works with the brothers, but she steps in when her aunt is in the hospital. She is different from Cole in that she freely lets her thoughts and emotions show.
Cole was so patient and really knew how to not act on his desires. Although there was actually a bigger reason he refused to just sleep with Harper like she wanted. That was heartbreaking, but I loved how he slowly let his guard down and opened up to Harper about it. He was an a** to her at first, but then he became so sweet and caring.
Of course, this also had the same suspense as the first book as well as some twists that made me feel bad for Harper as well.
This was another great book in the series. Cole and Harper do get a HEA, but it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger that is addressed in Lix’s story.
Note: This book deals with some material that may be triggers for some readers. Domestic abuse and sexual assault are just a couple of them.
The story has a catchy theme and content, the writing style is fine and the background story makes me curious about what happens next. The mother of the three Daxon brothers is in prison for murder, and it is unclear to the three brothers why she did it. It has ensured that the three brothers are concerned with the plight of battered women and committed to their rescue through their "escort" service. In this story, brother Cole meets Harper, niece of Willa, the powerhouse of the escort service: There is attraction between the two, but their past stands in both their way of both getting into a relationship. Of course, they eventually manage to overcome their past. What I have against the story is that their past, especially Harper's, is a bit much, and her issues seem over the top to me. I cannot speak from experience, but I found it irritating to read about her behavior and did not find her a particularly endearing character. The story starts off slowly, then picks up speed to come to an abrupt end. So to be honest I was not so charmed by this book, but I still want to read the next books, because I have become curious how the other Daxon brothers and mother will fare.

The second installment in The Daxson brother’s series where they help those in dire need of escape is one not to be missed. In each book we learn more about these brothers and all they endured at such a young age and this one was just as emotional. Cole meets Harper when she calls him out one day at a café for not washing his hands and from there the attraction started, yet she irked him too. Harper and Cole ended up seeing each other again by fate or coincidence and it seemed they always butted heads because Harper was strong willed while always looking for a reason to run. I loved this story, the brothers, Cole, at times thought Harper was so frustrating because she never wanted to let him in. Col knew something special was brewing between them, so he gave her his whole story no holding back, yet she could never reciprocate until the end. She was always pushing others away while drawing them in that it seemed she was just using Cole. Harper does what she always does, and she runs because it’s easier than facing her pain and living her life, but will Cole ever be able to catch her? This was another great book, and I cannot wait for Lix’ story.
Yahoo!!! I was soooo looking forward to this book and I loved reading it so much! And yes, this absolutely is a different kind of Escort. The Daxon brothers help/escort women from their very toxic home environment. If you've read "My Escort", you're in for a treat! This one starts when the first one of this series ended, with the death of a Julia. This book is about Cole, Brett's brother, and Harper. I love that we see more of Cole and Cassie in this book as well. Her escort is an amazing romance with family issues, steamy scenes and so much more! If you've loved the first book, you will just love this one! Love how the characters blend in so well together. Cole is who Harper needs and vice versa. There are some pretty great twists (I told you this book is about family!). The love Harper and Cole have for eachother... it's great! I highly recommend reading the first book before you start this one. Though everything you need to know is explained, reading the first book really adds to the experience.
Enjoy reading this one!
I received an ARC for my honest opinion. I truelly think this is a 5 star read!
I could not wait for Cole's story and I was not disappointed. He and Harper was a force to be reckoned with. Their chemistry was off the charts but neither was ready to go past the kissing and petting stage. In this second book, we learn a little more about the brothers, their mother, and the situation she was faced with. She made the decision and has decided to live with it and only wants her boys to live happy lives. The brothers want to help their mother to be free because she should not be in a cage, she should be free too. As women call for help, Harper learns just what her aunt has been doing for all of those women that need an escape and how the Deaxon brothers are just like superheroes. She needs to be careful before she falls for her own superhero. This story is filled, with, fun, pain, family, loyalty, love, dependability, and a secret that may send Harper running. By the end, the story is perfect and I loved it. I can not wait for Lix's story, it might be the best of the three brothers. **I received a free copy of this book to read and review and this is my honest opinion**
I love the premise of this series and the work that the Daxon brothers are doing to help women. This book is Cole and Harper’s story. Harper is Willa’s niece and has returned to help Willa following surgery which means she has to step up and be Jane, the person the women call when they need help to escape an abuse situation. Harper knows the work her aunt does but suddenly being the person that needs to help and make the women feel safe opens up her eyes to her aunt’s true calling. She never expects for the guy she met in the coffee shop to be the man to assist with the rescue. When Harper is suddenly in danger, it’s Cole that steps up to protect her which ends up being a challenge as he tries to fight his attraction to Harper. For Harper, she has built strong walls to protect her heart after losing several people she’s loved. Each of them are carrying deep emotional scars from their past that they need to work through before they can let themselves be happy and truly embrace love. I was pulled in by the drama while the passion and heart of this journey kept me glued to the page. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
"Her Escort" by Kelly Gendron is a heart-pounding, heart-clenching story about a group of brothers, separated by a tragedy at a young age, who come together to help the helpless one woman at a time. Cole, the middle of the trio of brothers, meets Harper during one of his rescue missions, and he knows she has a history of her own.
As the second book in the "A DIFFERENT KIND OF ESCORT" series, it can be read as a standalone. There are references to the first novel in this book, but you don't need to read it to understand what is going on. So, I thought the author did an excellent job making the story stand independently.
Despite the discussion of domestic abuse, which is discussed heavily in this book, I thought "Her Escort" was beautifully unique compared to other books I have read in this genre. It approached the topic with poise and was able to shine lite on an issue that so many other authors tend to shy away from. So, please don't discount or shy away from this book due to this trigger warning; give the story a chance. It will not disappoint you.

This is book two in A Different Kind of Escort service series and it is Cole and Harper's story. Cole and Harper are instantly attracted to each other but also are annoying but the more there paths cross the stronger there bond grows but Harper has walls built around her that are so high so that she doesn't get hurt again and not really living her life but is Cole the one that will break her walls down and show her that they can be together and have a happy ending or will Harper end up running again which is something that she is really good at doing. This book pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout and had you turning the pages right until the last one and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and difficult situations that are written with so much care and compassion and I definitely recommend you read it and you will not be disappointed and I can't wait to read the next book which is Lix story.
A unique story line about three brothers who offer their assistance to “Julia’s”, women who are trying to flee abusive situations. They receive a call, go to the address and remove the woman to a domestic abuse shelter. As children, they witnessed their mother being abused, unable to help her, but now they help others. When her Aunt Willa is unable to serve as the contact for abused women, Harper James arrives to meet the woman once they are rescued. In her first case she again meets Cole Daxon with whom she had an encounter at the local coffee shop. Now he is the one called to get this “Julia” to safety. They strike parks off of each, but will they finally relent and share the issues that have shaped their lives? Cole is still recovering from a case that didn’t end well and Harper still misses her father. When a secret is revealed, will Harper believe that Cole will be the one to stay? A very enjoyable romance. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
This is the second book in the series though I wish Lix would get his own story as well. A well written story with compelling characters and a storyline that if it does not exist really should. This book is an emotional rollercoaster ride well worth the ticket price.
Cole Daxson and his brothers operate a construction company by day and function as escorts to abused women trying to leave their situation by night. He grew up in an abusive home and his mother killed their father to protect the boys.
Harper Jameson is a social worker who has returned to Florida to help her aunt while she is having surgery. Her aunt is the person who runs the escort service. The love of her life was killed trying to protect her.
Both Harper and Cole consider themselves broken from their past experiences. They have mad chemistry but each has their reasons for holding back. They eventually begin a relationship and have to overcome their personal baggage to get their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
As the title states, this is a different kind of escort service. Cole and his brothers work with Willa who runs a domestic abuse center. When Will receives a call from an abused women that’s ready to leave her abuser, Cole and his brothers go and escort them out and to safety. Willa is having surgery and isn’t going to be able to work at the center and also help relocate the women. So her niece Harper comes to help out until Willa is better. And when Harper and Cole exchange words at the coffee shop that morning the last thing they expected was to see the other later that night at a meet up to get the domestic abuse victim to safety. Cole and Harper both have walls up, not wanting a relationship. But Cole hasn’t felt the way he does for Harper for anyone else. And he’s going to take his time breaking her walls down. And she fights him the whole way. This was a great read. I haven’t read the first book in the series. And now am going to go read it. And I can’t wait to hear Lix story.
Her Escort is a great addition to the series. The story is filled with action and shocking moments. If you are looking for a story packed full of emotion; look no further. I expected the tragic with the stories of "julias." Her Escort is so much more.
Cole Daxon has his issues. Like his brothers he witnessed the abuse their mother received at the hands of their father. Now he takes his turn visiting her in prison. Now he takes his turn rescuing Julias and taking them to safety with the help of Willa. He puts his life at risk for the sake of the innocent.
Willa has been helping victims of domestic violence for a long time. Together with the Saxons, they run the Escort Service. Now she needs help while she heals. She asks Harper, her niece, to come home, hoping she will stay.
Harper has her own issues. She wasn't happy to be back in Florida. She surrounds herself with protective walls to keep from being hurt again. To keep from being left alone.
The Escort Service brings Harper and Cole together again and again. She can run but she can't hide. The slow-burn romance was addictive. The shocking twists were page turners. I could not have predicted some of the outcomes. LOVED IT!!!
Grab Her Escort and cheer on the dedicated heroes. Grab Her Escort and cheer on the budding romance between Cole and Harper. They will need all the help the can get.
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶🌶 Written in first person POV switched from FMC and MMC M/f romance
I was hooked the very first chapters, and I had the hardest time putting it down. If I could have read it in one sitting I would have. This series has such a unique plot that I can’t get enough of. I know the blurb doesn’t give you much on what it’s about, but this is a MUST read!
Cole’s character was, hands down, my favorite book Boyfriend I’ve read in a while. He wasn’t looking to settle down, but one look at Harper and he was all in. He held nothing back, told the truth, and knew what he wanted. He was even patient! On top of that, his dirty talk was everything 🥵.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because I didn’t like how Harper refused to talk about anything deep. I felt like her character development wasn’t as strong as it could have been. Otherwise this book was a solely phenomenal. I can’t wait for Lix book, and who will bring that man to his knees.
This is book two of the Different Kind of Escort Service series. These Daxon brothers are the most broken, kind hearted alpha males you will meet. Brett, Cole and Lix have a common goal, to get their mom free. They also have a side service that gives them extra glitter for their super hero capes. But these boys do not feel that way, they are not super hero's, they are just looking out for the women that have currently lost their voice. Cole has is hands full when he meets Harper James in the cafe one day. But their paths do not stop crossing there. Two amazing people, doing fantastic things for others in need but still find time to heal a little more and find love. This book packed a couple punches to keep you on your toes. I cannot wait to read all about Lix. It's a tough topic to read but a beautiful story. Enjoy!.

Cole Daxon and his brothers Brett and Felix run an escort service at night. Only it’s not your normal escort service. They rescue abused women from their abusers and get them to safety. It’s pretty much a secret and not always done legally. Harper is a social worker and has come to Florida to help her aunt Willa who is recovering from hip surgery and to help out with her aunt’s rescue service. She meets the escort and abused woman to take them to a safe place for the night and then make a plan to get the victim to a safe location. This is how she meets Cole and how their emotional story unfolds. A well written storyline that contains emotional and physical abuse, danger, and secrets revealed. The characters are well developed and believable. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to Felix’s story.

“I thoroughly enjoy the wonder and anticipation of it all.”
I thought book one, My Escort, was amazing, but book two, Her Escort is even better! I don’t know where to start. Harper is just so not what I expected. She was funny, sassy, and quiet the handful. I almost felt sorry for Cole and I knew his days of being alone were numbered. And Cole! Wow! Just as fantastic as I thought he would be based on book one. So strong and confident, everything I had hoped for. He also surprised me with his secrets that I never suspected. This story is nothing like book one. Harper is not a Jane and Cole doesn’t meet her as her escort. It’s a wonderful and enjoyable book from beginning to end.
Next book is Lix and he’s the one I’ve really been waiting impatiently for. I know his book is going to be the best of all and with how great books one and two are, book three should be through the roof.
