I was hoping this would be an engaging and informative look at how highly sensitive people see and feel and think about the world around them. I wanted something I and my adult daughter could both read and then discuss the different “aha” moments when we recognized ourselves in the scenarios, and find some insights into what makes us tick. This is, sadly, not what this book has to offer.
This book was so badly written that I am not even going to give it to my daughter to read, because it would be insulting her intelligence. It is written like a junior high research report. It is in desperate need of an editor. This is the first book I have ever seriously considered returning for a refund.
One star for having a positive message for those who struggle with being highly sensitive, that it can be a gift and make life more beautiful and fulfilling.
