This book turned out to be a huge myth buster for me as it totally shattered my long believed assumptions about Money and Debt. It is really an amazing and informative book which will give you a whole new understanding about money. This book is definitely going to be in my Top 10 reads for 2022.
The end of scarcity is a gripping read which delves into the concept of money - what money is, how it actually works and what it is meant to be. This book discusses the limitations of our current money system and how it is controlling and destroying the creative potential in us by creating an illusion of scarcity. Author also presents a new way to recreate our money system and gives glimmer of hope about a new abundant world where people are thriving and growing by using their gifts and talents.
The best part about this book is that it not only highlights the problems we have in our current financial system but also propose a way to redesign money the right way.

This book does not provide fake financial advice or any investment techniques to the readers. It enlightened the fact that money and debt are on the same track and work simultaneously.
The bank creates what borrowers think of as money when we promise to pay them back. Our debt, and burden to pay them, is what brings ‘money’ into existence during the period of our loan. When we spend the ‘money’ we get from the loan, that money then begins to circulate in the economy or enter society. Hence money has its existence when we start to borrow a loan. So, without loans and having debt, there would be no money.

We have never thought or realized that, but after reading this book I acknowledged this is a fact. Not only this but this book has put on so many new concepts with all the possible evidence that can be given.

The writer made a boring subject "finance" very interesting through her narration style.
The subject and writing of the book are mature. It bombarded me with information and left me in a hurricane of thoughts.

Generally I don't appreciate an author trying to superimpose a story on what is a fact-finding book. But the facts she presented call for a deeper dive into this concept. I will do that by reading one of Ellen Brown's books on it.
One huge disappointment to me: As I was trying to "trust" the author's acumen about financial issues, I could not believe that she "fell for" the scam of wind turbines! Hopefully that was something she had not invested in.
