GUESS WHO’S BACK? AND YOU THOUGHT THE TROUBLE WAS OVER. NOT WITH THIS GROUP.
Mads What’s it like to date the school flirt? The partier? The heartbreaker? The manwhore? Micah Bradford is all the above, yet so much more. And you know what? I f*cking love all those traits about him. Screw those who doubt us.
Micah Rules don’t apply to us, but there’s always one A-hole who didn’t get the memo. Sterling Weston thinks Kingsley University is his campus to run. He’s used to getting what he wants, and for whatever reason, he has his sights set on what’s mine. Mads Clarke. And that is a big fucking problem for me. But if I don’t rein in my temper, I’m looking at more than just suspension or expulsion from college. Not that that’s ever stopped any of the Elite before. No one takes what’s ours.

Absolutely loved this book another amazing book in the series. Been looking forward to reading the continuing story of Mads and Micah and wasn’t disappointed. I have absolutely loved this series and can’t wait for the next book, couldn’t put it down once I started.
For how much I loved Micah and made in the previous books this fell flat for me
There was a lot of unresolved storylines and nothing felt finished and fully thought out and it was all one extra long revenge plot apparantly that Mads was stuck in the middle of
OMG MICHAH AND MADS BOOK FINALLY CAME OUT! I have been dying for their book. When I found out JL Weil was releasing a their story back earlier this year I started counting down the weeks-then days-then hours. I read it all in 1 sitting!!!
We are first introduced to Micah and Mads in book 1 in Turmoil. Micah as Brocks best friend and Mads as Josies. From the jump we learn they have a complicated history but something is still there. By the end of Josie/Brocks trilogy- Micah and Mads finally manage to sort things and are a couple.
Mads- Mads was the ULTIMATE GIRL character. SO SO strong. You can see she loves Micah no matter what and has always held a torch for him throughout. We see how Mads deals with different family dynamics and is a loyal friend.
Micah- oh Micah- Although previously you messed up with Mads, we see how much you love and care for her. THIS BOY WOULD DIE FOR HER IF HE COULD. He would sell his left kidney for her honestly.
Rival is set with the gang in college. During this time we see different twists/turns happening. Together this couple deal with a lot. A lot of hardships. A lot of difficulty. But, the way they love each other you can definitely see. By far one of my fave reads and was deffo worth the wait. Deffo recommend!
Well I don’t know who’s on the cover but it ain’t Mads with dark hair like that 😂 I gave this a higher rating as I really did enjoy the story. The writing was definately better in this one and the story flowed better, there were less errors but still some. Along with some things needing better descriptions, like after the girls dancing barefoot on the table, they all jumped down and walked home… with no shoes or what did I miss?! That said Micah and Mads had me hooked, I loved them as a couple. I loved how Micha was the playful one but could be serious and loveable with Mads. I did not love him pushing her away…silly boy since it made no difference to Sterling and his vendetta. There was no way these lot were leaving the drama in high school and once again the Elite come together to protect one of their own. The Sterling storyline was randum and we’ll never know if the stuff with his sister was true. I also feel like we were left hanging on the why Micah had ended up with his sister too. Since it was the reason for the revenge against him. Though we possibly have not seen the last of Sterling!
YES, YES, YES, YES. What do I even say about this man?! I loved every single second of this book—every look, every line, every scene—everything about Micah and his story completely wrecked me (in the best way possible). I knew—KNEW—he was going to be everything I dreamed and then some. I was already invested in him during Brock and Firefly’s saga (shoutout to Josie, queen), but THIS? His book? This was my happy place.
Guys…I have a CRUSH. A full-blown, giddy, scream-into-my-pillow level crush. AHHHHHH.
And Mads?? My beautiful, fierce, fireball heroine. I’m OBSESSED. She’s strong, unapologetic, and still soft where it matters. The balance—ugh, chef’s kiss. These two? Their history? Their connection? Their tension?? Off. The. Charts. And let’s be real: they’re getting hitched. I’m claiming that future for them RIGHT NOW. It’s everything I hoped for and more.
Sterling—you sneaky little b*tch—I know you’re still out there lurking. Your time is coming. And Grayson and Ainsley?? The unraveling that's about to happen?? J.L. Weil, what are you doing to me?! This series is ruining me in the most delicious way and I don’t want it to stop. Ever.
This book is an interesting and fun to start to the new additions of stories. I really liked Mads and Micah as characters. Both of them are deeply flawed and broken. However, there is so much that they have. Micah's character arc is awesome. I loved how he was a bit indifferent, but really cared about her. One review (I forgot who mentioned it) said, "Micah would burn the world down to save Mads." That is exactly what he would do. I like Mads who says she is strong but also shows it. The romance in this book is really steamy. I liked that both characters are open that they have sex and own up to it. Mads isn't a shy virgin. I like how the book doesn't shy away from showing college students using drugs. They actually can do and it is hard. The issues of overdose are addressed really well.
The only criticism to the book is that there are a lot of unresolved threads in terms of the suspense. I love the suspense and the drama was a bit over the top. Despite this, I highly recommend the book. I hope to hear more character stories in the upcoming books.
I loved the first 3 Elite of Elmwood Academy books with Josie and Brock and have waited for Mads and Micah's story to be told, and I haven't been disappointed!
These two have been on a painful journey and their story does not get any easier before they find their happily ever after. Love is not always easy and can sometimes be painful, Mads has suffered that in bucketloads where Micah is concerned, but love wins out.
All the favourites are back. The Elite may have split up for University but that doesn't stop them all coming back together when the chips are down, new area but they still have the same charisma and draw they have always had. Another great addition to this series.
Mads and Micah. Im glad they ended up together and I’m glad that we get to see this other side of Micah. I would have liked some more back story on his family and more specific events that he went through in life to make him the way he is- but his character arc is big. Like a 180 and it suits him. He would burn the world for Mads.
I have to say- it amuses me how all of the girls think they are bad asses. They are definitely not- like they try to be, don’t get me wrong- but they still need rescuing from their terrible decisions.
Regardless- another great book from the Elite. Wish the next book wasn’t so far away! Ainsley and Grayson will be GOOD.
Mads and Micah were exactly as I thought they would be. They were funny sweet and stood up for themselves and each other. That being said I think this book was rushed which I get why but at the same time wish it could have been longer to get more details. That frat needs to be delt with asap and can't wait till the elite get their revenge and justice. This author knows exactly how to write characters you fall in love with and engaging plot lines. I'm so excited to read about Grayson and Ainsley.
I was super excited to see what was going to happen next with these characters! Definitely was ready to get more from Mads and Micah! Loved seeing them together and then interact with the others.
I just want more from all of these characters! The store flowed and was very easy to read, wish we did get info a little faster and still got to learn to love some of the other supporting characters!
Still got my favourites and can't wait to see what is next!
Playboy of the elite gets tired down. Secrets from your past are never good. Tell that to Mads and Micah. Their part is ready to come out in full force and cause serious havoc. Not to mention day dearest is not playing nice with Micah. When secrets are exposed, and revenge is in place, the Elite and the girls take matter into their own hands. It's chaos at it's best, but the love these characters share is beyond amazing.
WE FINALLY GOT DUAL POV. that made a world of difference for me with this book.
did this book have some plot holes? yes. I also wonder if they will fill those plot holes in the next couple of books. I don’t know if I will find that out though.
Mads & Micah were inevitable since book 1 and i’m happy we got a glimpse at them in the early years. they were a super cute couple and even though Micah made the classic mistake of trying to save her by leaving her it all worked out in the end.
Ah the drama what is it with these boys and drama. And why do the girls always get pulled into it 😋 loved that these two got a HEA they deserved it with everything that happened and I cannot wait to see what the future hols for them both cos together they can take on the world and burn it to the ground.
This fourth book in the Elite of Elmwood Academy series, focusing on Mads and Micah, was an interesting and enjoyable read. Drama, drugging, abuse and violence, this group of family and friends suffer through it all. I am looking forward to reading about Grayson and Ainsley next, or maybe Fynn and Kenna???
I've wanted to read about Mads and Micah for the longest now and I just knew they'd be my favorites. I don't always read a lot of books where the main couple is already in a relationship going in, so it was a nice change.
Nice to see that Mads has a backbone and I adore her and Micah fr
I took a break between the first 3 books and this one, but one thing was the same, different setting, same plot. I was thrown off by Micah texting Mads to come to the party when they were in high school, but then being with someone else. That fact was never really explained.
3.5 because the errors are getting worse each book.
The underlying story is pretty good, but lazy editing is getting annoying... from leaving the house in jeans to them becoming white shorts by the time they arrive at their destination, mixing characters names up in the same paragraph, missing words, etc. A little extra effort could see these as a five.
J.L Weill has done it again with her excellent writing! It was refreshing diving back into the world of the Elite. I absolutely loved Mads & Micah's story. Each of her characters is always so well developed and the story had me hooked from the start till the end! Recommend picking up this read!
Ms Weil always delivers. Fantastic and relatable characters, with steamy chemistry, surrounded by a killer story that is full of depth and excitement that will keep you hot and invested till the very end. Then this your series.
Absolutely loved this book! The whole series! Mads is a total bad bish who took no shit! She’s stands up for herself regardless! And the love she has for Micah.. wow and the way he is to her is just ughhh I love them 💕 live how protective they are for their whole crew !
Unlike the other books in this series. This didn't have the dramatic interest, that's gets you hooked. Not saying it wasn't good. I was really wanting a overly top love story for Micah.
This is the fourth book in the brand-new Elite of Elmwood Academy series and is about Micha and Mads. Filled with drama, blackmail, love, heartbreak, steamy chemistry but most importantly family. This one deffo kept me up past my bedtime reading it lol. I cannot wait for the next book.
I loved every minute of the book from love, suspense to action and thriller. It had it all. Anyone looking for any of the above would love this book and the rest of the series. Can't wait for the next one!
That was a good cool down book for the series. I wish there was more of the Micah and Mads banter from the previous books but it still didn't take away from the characters over all likeability. I would have liked it more if we knew more about Sterling.
Moving on to college didn't disappoint the trouble the elite seem to find. Glad to see the girls adding to the crew. Would love to see a couple of the other characters find love. Maybe more to come?
Loved this book! I couldn't put it down and I love Mads and Micah, but I am really excited for the next book. Grayson needs to get his girl and it will be interesting to see what happens with it.
