The Wise Society is a unique combination of modern science fiction and spiritual novels. This coming of age story leads into the deepest secrets of human psyche and society.
In 2610, as Earth is facing some major challenges, Erin, a lone individual with exceptional intellect manages to outwit the most influential power brokers of the planet, ultimately leading to a complete reorder of human society.
The story continues in the year 3200, when a collective AI (thanks to the success of Erin), the so-called Central Intelligent System (CIS) aids humanity in remaking the solar system to its sphere of direct influence. After discovering a viable method of intergalactic travel, humankind initiates a mission to four likely habitable exoplanets to elevate human civilization to the next level of development.
Keat, one of the chosen travelers with a keen interest in "the big questions of life" uses this first mission to turn the prosperous human civilization upside down by meeting the world of Füzen on his fascinating journey.
This book isn't a traditional sci-fi. It introduces a completely fresh human race with a new utopistic Earth. In the world of The Wise Society there are no countries, companies, money or power struggles. Sounds boring for the first time, but after we start the main plot in the 38th century, new puzzles appearing for future humans. In a sense people will have more time to think about as the author calls it "big questions".
We are in a world where Artificial Intelligence is part of the normal daily, and it doesn't really wants to kill anyone. People are just discovering their first intergalactic civilization and it turns out they have a lot to learn from them even common wealth is normal in 3800.
In the book I met with a lot of interesting inventions and finally the alien civilization wasn't a scary one but smart and friendly. I really enjoyd the discussions of the protagonist with the AI supercomputer (CIS) these were one of the catchy parts of the book.
Owerall I would say Conjunction is the Sci-Fi of new adults.
It was a really touching spiritual read. I'm not really into science fiction, but the book blurb hooked me in.
For me the whole story started to be extremely interesting when the visitors arrived to planet Füzen. I simply loved the vibes of Füzenis. Stepping towards to the other dimensions and meeting other multi dimensional entities like Amoan or Joel was really an intensive part of the book. These spiritual being suggest that we people do act really like children at the moment. It was an "aha" moment for me, and finally understood what "The Wise Society" is really about. Overall I felt that the plot isn't completed in this book, and there is much more in this story. I'm expecting a sequel from the authors.

This book is one to relish and reread. It touched my heart and spirit and wish that there are worlds like the one described. I can only pray that mankind finds it way to a peaceful future rather than the path of war, destruction, greed, etc that our current times are going through. Read this book, you will not be disappointed.
