A missing man is the reason that Emma and Jeff are being sent out to investigate. Edgar Flanagan needs his insulin, or he will be in trouble. His neighbor warned the police for help.
Amarika needs Emma for 'a job' to help someone's father, who has been double-crossed.
And then there is an interesting meeting at a nudist wellness day, that will put the life of the police couple upside down in more ways than one.
Hidden Things sees the return of the girl who can see through walls in another adventure. There are four separate plot lines that weave in and out of the narrative as P Z Walker spins a web of intrigue. Emma Nelson and her boyfriend Jeff become involved in the disappearance of a (not very) elderly man. Finding a new home, Stealing back a set of stolen papers and Finding a new Spa venue for naturists. Oh, there is a bit of attempted kidnapping, pornography and murder. So why only 4 stars? The book needs a good editing.
The writer does a good job of telling stories. He weaves three storylines into one story making the story interesting as well as keeping the story moving along at an even pace.
