This book takes you on a journey full of twists, turns and angst. Belle has lived her life avoiding human touch because it will give her visions of the past as well as the future. Over the last 8 months her visions showed her man who she knew in her gut was her mate. Until the day Cairo Cruz found Belle and took her away from her father because he believed she was the answer to his problem.
Cairo Cruz was the Alpha of Rogues. He was arrogant, rude, cruel and a complete d*ck to everyone. He treated Belle and her family so poorly. Normally I end up like the MMC in books, but I did not like Cairo at all. He was in love with his Beta Sky who was a lesbian and “mated” to a female wolf. Even when his wolf revealed that Belle was his Mate, he didn’t hide the fact that he loved Sky and if given the chance that’s who he would choose because she was his best friend and soulmate.
Belle was a very patient FMC. She allowed Cairo’s mistreatment because she knew he was her mate. I hated the way she allowed herself to put up with his drama. Although Cairo’s wolf adored Belle, Cairo wasn’t onboard with his wolf’s plans. Belle used her visions to help prepare everyone for what was to come. Cairo’s best friend and Beta Sky was a powerful witch that was full of dark magic that she could not control. She knew her destiny was to succumb to the magic within and her sacrifice would ensure that another lived. As much as it pained Belle to comfort Cairo, he still found reason to lash out at her and manhandle her at every turn.
Cairo, Sky and Belle’s destinies were intertwined with one another. Belle saw the vision of what was to come, Sky’s destiny was going to lead to her demise but the heartbreak in their destiny lies within Cairo being the one to put an end to everything. This story was full of secrets, heartache, grief and anguish. Loved ones were lost and pain and anguish were attacking from every side but through all of the chaos and drama Cairo and Belle found their way to their HEA.

I need to step back & think for this review- Caro & Belle were definitely a different type of story with a Twlight vibe. Belle is 1/2 vampire and 1/2 shifter. Caro has ALOT of pent-up anger and a damaged soul and mind, which makes him have possessive tendencies, and he lashes out at Belle a lot. His best friend/soulmate but NOT his mate Sky is an undercover Witch, I say undercover because she keeps this secret through the first 3 books of the series and gives the Ultimate sacrifice to save him and their friends. Sky's "mate" California finds out Sky put a spell on her for her to think Sky was her chosen mate when she truly wasn't. Now Callie knows her true mate is out there, and she wants no parts of him

I felt everything! The guilt, grief, frustration and joy! Samantha is a master in hitting you right in the feels.
The plot has so much going on but I never felt lost or overwhelmed, is was paced so well and everything fell into place.
There were So many Easter eggs for future books, I can't wait for Callie story!
This series is NOT a standalone, don't do what I did 😂

Well, F me, that was hot with total beauty and the Beast vibes, I love every minute of it. There are still so many questions remaining, but there is still another book to go. Cario and Belle were are match made in heaven that will stand the test of time

Confused Love
I just love these characters. Cairo had to run from his pack. Sky takes him under her wing. She's got magic that consumes her. He thinks Gabriel can help her. Gabriel has vision and knows things. She's his strength when his down. On to the next book.
