This author has done it again. Another story I couldn’t put down. Age gap is a favourite troupe of mine. I do love an older women, younger man story. I loved that Abigail decided to get her groove back. This story is taboo and sexy. Joseph, I couldn’t help but fall for him. Their journey had me turning the pages.

Abigail is a 38 year old teacher in a small school in Scotland near Inverness. She is unmarried and is feeling lonely, as if life is passing her by, when all she really wants is someone to love her that she can love back. Over the summer break she decides to reinvent herself, getting her haircut, using more makeup and updating her wardrobe. Her friend Mallory convinces her to join a dating app, giving the age range from 35-into mid 40s. She gets dates but most of the men are not looking for a committed relationship and she is. Mallory convinces Abi to lower the age range into the 20s, and a younger man contacts her. They text back and forth a lot while he is on an oil rig out at sea, find they have much in common and many shared interests, so when Joseph suggests they meet the next time he is off the rig, plans are made. Joseph is younger than Abi thought, but they find the attraction they had through texting each other is even stronger in person and they end up spending the night together. All is not well, however, as past information surfaces leading to what seem to be insurmountable roadblocks to their continuing relationship. How Joseph and Abi try to get past these obstacles to be together is the rest of the tale.
This tale of an older woman with a younger man highlights the prejudice that can be encountered in small, close-knit communities, the gossip that can spread, the little interest in getting the whole story, and the long impact on the lives of those caught up in it. This story held my interest, at times had me grumbling at Abi for some of her self-doubts, but rooting for Abi and Joseph to make it through despite odds against them. I enjoyed the book.

What happens when a strait laced teacher decides to throw caution to the wind-a younger lover and a former student too. Sometimes, it helps to read books from a different perspective-books that are not the norm and this is what this book is all about.
I enjoyed the story simply because it is different. It explores less talked about plot and characters- a younger man. The author deserves commendation for exploring this trope and keeping the story as realistic as possible.
I liked how the author allowed Abi develop. From her background to where she was when the story started. Written from her point of view, it examines the outcome of when she shed the cloak of anonymity and developed into who she was meant to me.
There are obvious questions which the author has raised- like will you allow Abi to teach your kids? I feel there are no right or wrong answers as ultimately we all have to do what is best for our kids.
Even though I understand that the book was from Abi’s point of view, I would have loved to hear from Joseph too. He was too quiet.
The blurb was from his point of view and not once in the book did we get his point of view or his thoughts. It was entirely from Abi’s view points.
I recommend this book as a way of exploring/reading something different and I look forward to reading more works from the author.

When the dating options are making single look like a very good option, Joseph enters the picture. Younger than she would prefer, Abigail cannot deny the chemistry between them. The hidden connection between them turns an age gap into something seen as obscene. Joseph very well could be her "the one." The question is if the trouble seeing him brings is worth it.
Joseph has a calm, soothing personality that carries a quiet strength beyond his years. He may be young, but he knows what he wants. And that is Abi.

Indecent Temptations by Viktor Redreich is completely unlike anything I’ve ever read by him. The story follows Abigail who is looking to get back into the dating scene. After a friend convinces her to lower the age range on her dating app she ends up matching with a guy named Joseph. After talking for several weeks they decide to meet up and grab some drinks. The attraction is instantaneous and can’t be ignored by either party it would seem. The next morning Abigail gets quite the shock when she realizes that he is a former student at the school she teaches at currently. Will this be too much for her to handle or will she risk her reputation to dive down the rabbit hole of potential happiness? I highly recommend reading Indecent Temptations by Viktor Redreich to find out!

A bit less spicy than I expected. Abi wants to get married and have a family before time runs out. What she is doing is not working so she creates an online dating profile. After several duds, she meets one guy that she clicks with right off only to find his secret the morning after. She tries, but can’t stay away. I did not like how she plans to use him and just really didn’t care that he would be hurt by her very intentional actions. I some ways he was a lot more mature than she was. I also didn’t love his mother’s behavior and then almost everyone else treating her so terribly after she and Joseph were forced public. Sweet ending.

This was a definite surprise & completely unexpected from this author. I've come to expect a truly dark & twisted story from Redreich & this was definitely not that! A taboo relationship between an older woman who's a teacher & a younger man who used to be a student at her school. It was entertaining, heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, funny, swoon-worthy, & spicy. Redreich's spicy scenes are incomparable;the detail & the emotions they pull from you are utter perfection. I enjoyed this story immensely & the plot was enjoyable & kept you drawn in. More romantic than Viktor's usual work, but I hope to see more stories of this caliber of romance from the author in the future! Highly recommend!.

Viktor never ceases to surprise me or, as in this case, to blindside me. Yet his writing skills make me happy to follow wherever he may lead.
Rather than a more familiar exercise in erotica, Indecent Temptations is a thoughtful cross between a romance and a psychological/sociological case study in age–gap romances and small-town prejudice without the academic pretensions. Which still allows room for plenty of steamy scenarios and encounters.
I’m sure if there was a dictionary entry for the opposite of formulaic writing, there would be a picture of Viktor next to it.
All in all, a very enjoyable and satisfying read.

This puts her in touch with Joseph, a 24 year old that works on Oil rigs. She is excited to meet Joseph and their first date ends well. Older woman teaching at a school, younger man former student at said school. He found her on a dating app. Abigail took a looong time to get her head to follow her heart (deep down knowing the possible ramifications), but she finally accepts her feelings for Joseph and things heat up quickly. Unfortunately, his mother is a witch about their being together reporting her as a predator and the whole school turns on her. They start a new life away from the scandal and seem to be on the way to a happy life together. Good for them.

There is just a little age difference, she is twice my age. I’m a college guy now, with all finds of muscles. Our town is so judgmental. The principal want her to quit seeing me. She could loose her job. She doesn’t deserve this. We haven’t done anything wrong. I would rated this book a 10 if I could. I love the characters and the enticing sexy scenes. The author is very good at moving the story right along. I read it in one sitting. I would not put it down. Anyone who love age gap romances will love this book.

As always Viktor has written a book which gets you hit under the collar and everywhere else! Abi I'm one way is a relatable character. Sick of the crappy dating scene and feeling like one day is going into the next is very relatable. I did find this one a little hard to read being in the same profession as Abi but aside from that this book was AMAZING! Viktor never lets the side down!.

This book started off really slow and I had a hard time getting into it. It was like she was not willing to take a step out of her comfort zone. If it wasn't for Mallory she would have never meet Joseph because all the other men was no good. The bad thing about there relationship was the age difference and no one wanting them to be together. It was a good book but it was just not something I expected.

This was yet another good one by Viktor, I’ve read others in the past that were just as good! I loved the way the story played out and the way the characters came together was great! There was some steaminess throughout the book as well. Great work!.

This was a cute little older woman younger man romance! I love how above all obstacles he stayed by her side. That goes to show you that not all young men are immature when it comes to relationships. Viktor, you did an awesome job with this book. You kept it classy but full of hot romance. Great job

Listen Viktor doesn't beat around the bush he goes head first into his subject matter and he seriously makes you think makes u wonder like could I? Would I? While still making it super HOT you can't help but kinda wish you would 😂 I love everything Viktor does you will too.

This a a wonderful, spicy love story between Abigail and Joseph. As usual, the author is dealing with a complicated relationship that is different than the norm, but love is love! Joseph is my favorite character. His determination and dedication made him easy to like.

Taboo At It's Best
Abi & Joseph are such a great pair that I would have loved dual POV's but it was very good. Heartstrings pulled, angst, very steamy sessions, and drama!! Great story and am enjoying these deep love stories that Victor is putting out. 😉 On to the next! #HappyReading ❤🔥

This is the 1st book that I have read in this series and I throughly enjoyed reading it.
Told from the POV of the female character Abigail (Abi).

I really enjoyed reading this one. The plot was great. It was well written. Not as steamy as Viktor’s other books. I kinda miss that! I loved Joseph and Abi together. Joseph warmed my heart sticking by her through it all. They are easily relatable. I really connected to Abi being a widowed older woman trying find my second love. Well done, Viktor!.
