Chung Myung, The 13th Disciple of the Mount Hua Sect, One of the 3 Great Swordsmen, Plum Blossom Sword Saint, defeated Chun Ma, who has brought destruction and disarray onto the world.
After the battle, he breathes his last breath on top of the headquarter mountain of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
He is reborn after 100 years in the body of a child. ……What? The Mount Hua Sect has fallen? What kind of nonsense is that!?
I am writing this review after reading 72 chapters. It’s a legendary manwha. This is my favorite manwha of all times because, unlike other reincarnation manwha protagonists, Chung Myung doesn’t forget about the friends he made in his past life. The author tortures us readers with Chung Myungs memories and it’s awesome watching him make new friends. Chung Myung and many other elite warriors from over twenty sects were fighting against Chunma. All of the other martial artists died and Chung Myung was the only one left alive. With one of his arms cut of, he glared at the Heavenly Demon. He stumbled towards the heavenly Demon while clutching a sword. He climbed up the tower of corpses and used the last bit of energy he had in him to slice of the Heavenly Demons head. Chung Myung died after killing Chunma, the heavenly demon. He opened his eyes again and he was in a small shed. There’s a kid standing in front of him. The kid looks like he is from the beggars sect. It turns out Chung Myung possessed the body of a nameless kid from the beggars sect. He goes back to the mount hua sect and it’s different from before.

After reading season 1 I just have to say that I ABSOULTELY LOVED IT !!!!!! Although I don't read a lot action stories that have 0 romance between the characters (except if there's even a slight chemistry between characters that I heard from other people but for this story I have heard absolutely NONE), I was still able to label this story as my favorite this 2023!!! (even though I haven't read the novel yet but nor have I finished reading the other novels yet either)
What makes this story so good is because of the characters, most importantly the main character and his motivations in restoring his sect to it's former glory. I can't wait to know what else our mc has to offer and I hope that this story will end on the best note!!! I have a feeling that this story has angst in later chapters, despite being so playful in early chapters....(I have trust issues because of danmei)
I love the characters and I like how arrogant characters gets humbled quickly and gained a new sense of motivation because of our mc. I loved how sassy the mc is and how he's giving absolutely 0 shits because he's confident that he can beat up ANYONE into a pulp which I absolutely fucking love !!!!
I also love that the artist was able to give the characters so many hilarious facial expressions and the beautiful illustrations of the fight scenes and most importantly the martial arts style techniques!!! This season definitely deserves 5 stars.

A copy past of my comment on the final chapter of season 1:
I see wealth changed the finance master 😂😂Also I love the title "Blessed Dragon of Mount Hua". He's gotten taller and more handsome! Although I'll miss the baby face. Please, the way the sect elders talk of him like he's some rabid battle crazed psycho 😂😂 asking themselves if they are ready to set him loose on the world. Whenever he thinks of the past, it always makes me so sad 😭. This finale was superbly executed, from the falling action to the setup for the new season. Heck, even the times timeskip was well done for a change! 👌 This series truly merits being one of the best 💕💕 I eagerly await season 2 😆

I feel like I'm missing something because everyone else raves about this story, but I DNFed after about 20 chapters. There's certainly nothing to complain about - the art is decent but nothing outstanding, the characters are reasonable but not especially interesting or sympathetic, pacing is consistent, the plot is pretty standard, and the setting is unique but recognisable.
But none of those elements managed to capture my attention and investment in the story's continuance. I just got bored and so dropped it.
