Servant of God Dolindo Ruotolo is the author of The Surrender Novena, so if you are familiar with and like it, then you will know you are in for a treat with this book. Padre Pio was known to send people who belonged to Dolindo's parish/town back to him when they came to San Giovanni Rotondo to visit. "Why are you coming here when you already have your own saint?!" he would scold them. Can there be a higher endorsement?
St. Pio is not exaggerating. The Rosary meditations in this book are munificent. There are even some for the Luminous Mysteries culled from his writings, though not specifically written for the purpose as Pope St. John Paul II only instituted these mysteries in 2002, after Dolindo's death. At the end of the book, are several extended meditations and prayers which are near divine.
Most highly recommended.

Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo wrote these meditations as between Jesus and the soul and the soul and they are as beautiful as they are productive in allowing one to go deeper into the amazing prayer that is the rosary.
Fr. Ruotolo has written many things, all of sublime beauty and this is more of the same. He is a Servant of God and St. Padre Pio called him a saint. I have no doubt he is.
Everyone, now and then needs a new spark to draw them into prayer and this book provides it. I bought this for myself and I am now buying it as a gift for others.
