What a great mystery book. It was suspenseful, easy to read, every one can read this book and best of all I never expected who done it.
I highly recommend it and look forward to reading this book in paperback/print format.

When there's a fire at the Calico Cat Bookstore, Lea wonders if it's an accident or arson. By chance she was there to give a talk the night before the fire. The question is answered when a second building burns. It was arson. Who is doing this and why? The owner asks the Sister Sleuths to find the answer. Will their instincts help them catch the arsonist before someone dies? These ladies are intelligent and aren't afraid to ask the tough questions. Their father, a retired police chief, works with them. His past experience is invaluable. Maddy's fiancée, Tom, is the head of major crimes. He's a good man to have working on the case. Murder by Fire is an exciting story. The Sisters are like friends. I enjoyed catching up with them and seeing what adventure they are involved in. I was shocked by the twists in this book. The ending was a complete surprise. This is my favorite book in the series. At least so far.

Lea and Maddie Austin are on the hunt for a multiple arsonist, whose first scene of crime was at the Calico Cat Bookstore, owned by their friend Lizzy. What makes police suspect her at first?
Another fire is set and we learn the arsonist is being blackmailed to destroy certain buildings.
When Lea and Maddy discover all of them are owned by the same offshore company and connected by the members of Lizzy's book club, alarm bells start to ring.
But who's the actual intended victim and why?
Who are Sam and Mason and why could they be in danger too?
A believable ending includes a frightening dénouement for Lea until she stands up to the guilty party and provides a statement that incriminates the real criminal who used the arsonist to cover up her own murderous plan.

I love the Sister Sleuths series. It starts with Lea at the request of her Mom to go speak at their book club about detective or sleuthing. The meeting takes place at the Calico Cat Bookstore. The ladies had a wonderful time. Later that night there was a fire at the bookstore. The fire investigator said it was too soon to tell if it was arson. A few nights later a fire was started at the community center where Maddy was coaching the boys basketball team. After the first fire the the Austin Conley Detective Agency was hired to look into it. There are a lot of twists and turn, more fires and a bunch of suspects. It is never a dull moment in these books and of course I didn’t figure out who the arsonist was. This could be read as a stand-alone book, but they are all so good and you get previous history of things that have happened if you read in order. Now I can’t wait for the next one to come out. Keep up the great work Rayna Morgan

“Murder by Fire” (A Sister Sleuths Mystery Book 9) by Rayna Morgan is a intriguing and interesting story from one of my favorite authors. The book is well written the characters are well defined and very realistic. Even though this book is #9 in the series it can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the previous ones first. Ms. Morgan wrote a wonderful story which drew me right in, making me forget everything else and did not let me go until I turned the last page. I did not want to put it down. I loved this book. The story was quick paced with twists and turns, surprises and suspense kept me engaged and turning the pages well into the night. I really am enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next book to come out. I recommend this book to cozy mystery readers it is a relaxing and enjoyable book.

MURDER BY FIRE is the ninth book in the "A Sister Sleuths Mystery" series and is an engaging mystery that will keep you guessing.

I loved this book. The characters are intelligent, well developed, and likable. The storyline is well crafted and kept my interest from start to finish with arson, danger, suspense, intrigue, and twists and turns. Will the sisters catch the arsonist before someone dies?

I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

What a fun mystery series!

An arsonist has struck the Calico Cat Bookstore and Lizzy, the owner, wants the Conley Austin Detective Agency to investigate and clear her name. The fire investigator is reluctant to disclose information in an ongoing case and clues are scarce. This case will be a challenge to solve before the arsonist strikes again.

There are plenty of plot twists and a surprise ending. I really enjoy the Sleuth Sisters books. They always keep me guessing.

The Conley Austin Detective Agency is hired to find out who is starting fires and why. Their father also helps them out. The characters are great in this series. Never a dull moment! I found it interesting to follow the various Inspectors as they did their inspecting. The Sister Sleuths did a better job though. Who is setting those fires and why??? AND who hit Lexi??? I enjoyed this story, hope Sam gets the help he needs, and recommend the book.
