Buyer Beware Just when Sweet Pea, OH seems to have reached peek levels of ridiculous, someone sells a toy-sized house for a full-sized price. Cynthia "Cyn" Sharp and Winnie are aiming to sniff out the truth, right after another cup of coffee. Real estate fraud isn't the only case knocking down Cyn's door when a con artist uses her address to steal from people who can't afford to stop them. Add in accusations of petty theft, fake body parts and a few too many brawls and Cyn and Winnie have their hands full.

I love the way this author writes, and I love her books!
I have read several *darker* books recently, and to read this one was a wonderful change of pace. The humor, the lightness, the farcical nature of her characters…
This author has several devices that she uses throughout this series. First the obvious…she’s working her way thru the alphabet. Second, in this book, bones keep getting discovered, which may or may not be human, or bones. In a previous book in the series, the cast in her arm has to be replaced over and over again. There is always a dog, Sgt WinnifredPupperson, aka Winnie her discharged former partner from her Army days. There is always lots of coffee, that almost seems inhumanly possible the quantity in question. There will always be a fun level of raunchiness. She will always have crazy parents.

It's an another fun, clean whodunit with great characters set in a small town, a strong, sassy female protagonist, and a dog. It's great to see Cynthia and Winnie involved in another investigation. This one definitely fits the bill. Love this series.

This series gets dumber and dumber. I loved the first few books, but it’s almost too corny. Maybe I’ll read the next one, but not sure.
